About Distant Vows

Distant Vows is a Ren'Py kinetic novel by KentKode. You play Emily, a woman who takes an overseas job because her family is struggling financially. She leaves her husband and infant at home, and the growing distance makes loneliness a threat to the promises she wants to keep. The game uses 2D computer-generated art and AI CG visuals, presenting an adult story about cheating, corruption, and female domination.

The current build is Episode 4a, released on January 4, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac in English, with uncensored adult content. This update centers on the main story as a linear experience, with fewer explicit scenes than before, building toward a larger payoff. Some branching paths and minor choices were written earlier but are not included here; they are planned for Episode 4b.

Developer's description

Struggling financially, Emily accepts a job offer overseas, leaving her husband and baby behind. But as the distance grow between them, the overwhelming loneliness threatens to unravel her loyalty and everything she holds dear.

I’ve already written branching paths and some minor choices but didn't have time to include them in this update and will be in next update ( Ep. 4b ).
