HyperSoft’s Donuts for Deer Teeth is a 2D top-down action game that mixes stealing missions with a light dating sim, and later becomes a faster, Hotline Miami-like experience with stealth and RPG touches. You play a female protagonist in a game with combat and transformation themes, set in the decaying Burbs, a forgotten turnoff where the commute to a low-paying job lasts two hours. The area has kudzu spreading around ruined big-box stores and whale-falls, while security grows stricter. The game uses the Others engine and presents a 2D CG look.
The current build is v1.1.1.6 Beta, released April 16, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows in English, with no censorship and no sexual content. The changelog describes Endless Mode as functional but still content-light, adding one game mode, five levels, six weapons, four enemies, six music tracks, and one playable character. It also notes controller support, automatic input device switching, and planned remapping and sprite updates.
Developer's description
Donuts for Deer Teeth is a true top-down steal-’em-up crossed with a light dating sim. While it initially took inspiration from the horror classic Darkwood, DFDT continued to evolve into a faster and faster paced game. In its current version it’s a bit like Hotline Miami but with light stealth and RPG elements. The game is set in the decaying Burbs, a middle-of-nowhere turnoff where the drive to your job takes 2 hours and the pay doesn't even cover half of that. Kudzu creeps in around the looming whale-falls of decrepit big box stores, as the security within gets tighter and tighter.

v1.1.0.3 Beta
But why [beta] ?
I realized that while Endless Mode is fully functional, it's rather content light & unpolished.
You're only getting:
1 new game mode
5 new levels
6 new weapons
4 new enemies
6 new music tracks
1 new playable character
For this reason, I'm choosing to release it as a [beta]. This means that people who want to play the game NOW can go ahead and dive in, while those who would rather wait until the game is feature complete can opt out & avoid spoiling it for themselves.

I feel cheated. Honestly I was not expecting this to be yet another furry fat fetish game. Even in its description and tags it had no disclaimer about said fetish. I was just expecting an indie game with some fat…

Pretty good on the fetish aspect of it. There's no porn in this, just fat/expanding furries, but if you're into that, you're gonna like the art and the characters. The animations are really well done. It feels scary, with the…
