Phantom's Curse is a 2D animated adventure platformer created by Lunalyst and built with the Others engine. You play a female protagonist on a mysterious island where monsters attempt to curse or devour you. The game mixes exploration, combat, and adult furry fantasy themes, with 2DCG visuals.
Development is ongoing in Alpha v0.29, released for Windows on December 14, 2024. The English version is uncensored. The update adds cave lighting, mushrooms, and flowing water to improve atmosphere. It also introduces the first proper NPC, Istara, with dialogue choices and a simple scene, plus a new area and a white cat enemy that can infatuate the player, leading to intimate contact, and may attack if angered.

Phantom's Curse is a 2D adventure platformer game. it takes place on a mysterious island where monsters are trying to "curse" the player or eat the player. the goal of the game is to explore the island and uncover its secrets.
whats new?
1) new lighting system
caves now have new lighting, adding to ambiance. also added mushrooms in cave levels with running water.
2) first proper npc and dialogue choices.
npc was a commission from someone awesome in the discord server. istara is the first npc which helped me develop a dialogue system so the player can make dialogue choices. her dialogue is simple currently but shows off what could be done with this new system. also enjoy as she has a fun scene with the player.
3) new level and enemy.
there is a new area with the new white cat enemy. this enemy is quite interesting as they can infatuate the player. compelling them to make out with them. also beware of making them angry, or they might fight back :3
