About Dr. Valarie Sex Therapist

Dr. Valarie Sex Therapist is an adult Ren'Py game by Purplehat Productions, using a 2D CG art style. You play a female protagonist in Dr. Valarie’s practice, set in a small building that once served as a dentist’s office. The interior feels warmer and more welcoming, with clients seated on a comfortable couch and chamomile tea brewing nearby. Some sessions hint at what lies in the room at the end of the hallway. The game explores female domination and multiple endings through character-focused story paths.

The current release is v0.12, dated February 12, 2025, and development appears ongoing rather than complete. It is available in English for Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with no censorship. This version expands Laura’s story path with several added scenes, fresh music, an additional character, and new character artwork, bringing the total to about 15,355 words.

Developer's description

Dr. Valarie’s practice is in a small nondescript building. Formerly a dentist’s office, the building’s interior is now much warmer and inviting. Clients are seated on a comfortable couch. Chamomile tea is brewing nearby. And some clients get to see what the good doctor has in that room at the end of the hallway... Spoiler “Therapists don’t know everything. However, we might know something that you don’t. Perhaps sharing what we know can benefit you. Life can be viewed as a really complicated puzzle. We spend our lives collecting the pieces to this puzzle, and figuring out how to put the pieces together. Often times we get pieces of this puzzle from others. That’s where seeing a therapist can benefit you. Therapists have some unique puzzle pieces. Not all of them apply to your specific puzzle of course. However they may have a piece that you’ve been missing. And sometimes, obtaining that piece can change the entire picture. Sometimes, one session with a therapist can change the direction of your life...”

This game really has some great scenes. I'm a big fan of Katie and everything with her subplot. I also loved the associated BDSM scenes. I only skimmed though the other route since it didn't interest me as much. However…

It is good, I played through it all. A bit short for now (only one storyline in version 0.7.4). This type of story is unique and somewhat similar to this developer's first game in terms of the type of content…
