Review for [Ep.1.2] I'm genuinely shocked, and pleasantly surprised, that this is from the developer of Lewd Town Adventures, because that AVN is basically the complete opposite of this one. In fact, I rated that a 2/10, and even got into arguments with the devs over my criticisms (you can still find them, circa 2023). Driftborne immediately establishes a premise worth being interested in: an immortal joining a police department. It's not exactly original, but it doesn't have to be, and the set-up is done well. There are certainly archetypes, but much like the premise, I think that using these familiar tones actually makes it far easier for a player to jump into an AVN, as the dev doesn't have to spend copious amounts of time having to basically educate us about the world, and that is MUCH harder than using scenarios and people we already kinda have the gist of, and then just fiddling with it to make it more distinct. Dialogue is done pretty well here, which was my biggest surprise compared to Lewd Town Adventures, but I believe they had two developers on that project, so it could've been the other dev (or simply this one getting better). There's still some cases where the dialogue feels rambling or repetitious, but for a new project I expect it to kinda settle after the ball gets rolling properly. I was actually kinda impressed that the flashbacks had dialogue that fit pretty well, because most people blunder it pretty hard or go far over the top. Visually, its pretty good. There's some faults, like I saw multiple images where glass was replaced with placeholder textures, how the bodies don't really match the more specific descriptions (e.g. if someone bleeds out from the neck, generally it doesn't flow up, no blood splatter as described), or a newer issue being the backgrounds being constantly super blurry to hide lower quality background textures (my assumption anyway), but honestly I don't know how many people would care that much about those kinda things. Still, the models look great (both men and women), the sex scenes are pretty good (not animated, but stills are far better than A.I), and once again a massive step up for the dev. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10, and I'm hoping that Driftborne continues to get better.

Review for the Ep.1.2 : Cinematic, high quality production, good overall presentation is what i felt when the game started. If i have to go in more detail, good UI, the LIs are quite different looking than standard girls we see in AVNs made with DAZ, and they are quite attractive too! Also, there are males in there even though the cast is small for now, the males have personalities and not just for the show, that's a sign of mature storytelling. But what about the story, then? Its done really well. I liked the monologue of the mc as well as the telling of the story. The mystery is building let's see where it goes. Good luck to the dev!

The first two chapters where phenomenal. Loved the story. Loved the graphic. Loved the sound. Loved the girls and love Steele! A Fukin Super Cop! So have great hope for this game! Particularily since it reached my Top list! Anyway. Slightly disapointed it only comes to Steam and not GOG. But I am getting used to that. Anyway. Per 19th of march 2026, and version 1.2, I rate this game Five stars! Good work!

At the moment it is very barebones, even for a first update. But detective stories are not many, plus the time traveler aspect seems decent for now, Marie seems to be the variable, as so far it could either go nowhere or really good with her. Time will tell. If the next updates are decent i'll probably support the author for a few months to see how things really develop

Interesting concept. Playing a game where the mc is immortal and is apparently being chased. While there isn't much there, there is a bit to enjoy. The game sets up the mystery two fold being your situation along with a serial killer. Game has nice models, at least for you, the woman who's car you steal, and the chief who i can t wait to get more of. I get having these flashbacks to flesh out the mc's life and all but i've personally never been a fan of a game frontloading a game wih dream and flashback sex just because it feels a tad cheap. The scenes are still good but yeah, just never like them in games. Overall good game that i cant wait to see get more content. I hope that the detective work gets a little more interactivity instead of it just being a scene that plays out.

VERSION: Ep.1.1 SUMMARY: Very nice, interesting concept RATINGS: (out of 5): ⭐⭐⭐⭐ NOTE: The following categories and scoring method are my own criteria and may require more context. Additionally , scoring is based on the state, and what is in the current version and not what may or may not be introduced at a later point. Character (Model) Visuals......... : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ General (World) Visuals........... : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Animation Quality................. : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Character Personality(Persona).... : ⭐⭐⭐ Story & Dialogue.................. : ⭐⭐⭐ Writing & Grammar................. : ⭐⭐⭐ UX/UI, Game Type & Mechanics.......: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Playtime & Pacing..................: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Music & Sounds.....................: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Adult Content & Fetishes.......... : ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Average: X of 50 possible points giving a X% rating i.e. X stars. PROS: - See my opinions section for details. Visually impressive, world is nicely detailed, got good colours, natural and renders are of high quality. Models are attractive and well designed, the MC looks like a man not a boy and looks designed and not a default template. Animations are rather good, lewd scenes are nicely done, have good movement and pretty sexy. Audio is pretty good, the music fits the scene nicely and the ambient sounds are great. Writing is structured and reads well, but often feels mismatched and styles get mixed. Interesting story, told fairly well. CONS: - See my opinions section for details. Dialogue can get tedious and bloated. Sounds like some AI waffling on trying to be philosophical and profound... Added to dialogue, its disingenuous and doesn't fit the scene e.g. the MC being a smartarse duing teh police event in the alley, it doesn't fit the tone and completely destroys immersion. Added to the above point, the MC is simply an asshole, the writer makes him harder to like than needed. This is compounded by the jarring way the player is dropped into it all, the way the MC acts like its the same shit different day does not do the narrative any favours. UI font is too large, needs option for setting it smaller and may as well add opacity setting. Point system? Tracking of stats? Why rely on a modder to provide a walkthrough for this? Character clothing choices often prioritize fan‑service over realism. Plot and scene development is almost random its so unbelievable. The way people act is way over the top and its actually very immersion breaking. See Comments OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS & FINAL REMARKS: NOTE: The following remarks are my personal opinions and thoughts, which may provide more context and could be useful to the developer. (Read them or don't) Narration can be less, you dont need pages to express a concept and can be less philosophical, especially the intro. This may sound like a nitpick but it was obvious and highly annoying for me after the narrator keep droning on about "life" in some monotonous way like reading a sermon from the Victorian period. Guess what we also have a life and we would like to get to it, so move along...less is more. I kinda believe much is AI generated text, because they tend do drone on with text walls and repeating themselves often, devs need to be wary of that shit. BTW, this does not only apply to Narration but characters thinking also, very long winded, pompous, very much that purple rose style of writing... Tracking stats are not present, which is annoying, I for one want to track progression with either my character alignment, LI stats or other stats that can affect the outcome of choices. As mentioned by another reviewer, the clothing are showy, and impractical, meant to drive sexuality not practicality e.g. like with outfits that clash against the professional standards expected of roles like police officers or detectives. You can look like a copy and still show off a good tight physique without showing skin and looking like a tramp...The same can be said about Larissa, she is not from a middle eastern culture where they have belly-dancers, she should be dressed in a more reserved and dignified manner. Would be nice if designers take gravity into account when creating some renders, just for sake of immersion... I find the over the top reaction that characters have in this AVN very annoying and completely destroys the flow and realism. The cop pointing the gun at the MC like its a toy, the way characters in many scenes act is out of place, either doesnt fit the scene, cheapens it with weird odd comment and just can't take itself seriously when the scene itself is, almost like the writer is trying to be vague/obscure but doing it in a poor way that frustrates more than intrigues. This wishy-washy way of delivering the plot/scene is just poor writing. TLDR: The AVN impresses visually and technically, but its narration and dialogue are bloated, pompous, and immersion‑breaking. The concept has potential, yet poor execution and an unlikable MC drag it down. I am tempted to drop my rating to 3 stars purely on how poorly the plot and dialogue are executed — not the idea itself, which has potential, but the way the writer leans on wit, emotive padding, and pompous narration instead of building intrigue.

Strong start. Good premise. Good characterization. A mystery within a mystery and a detective story to boot. My one bit of advice comes two fold. 1) Tone down the overbearing police chief with the threats. With the clear abuse case from her officer, she has no ground to demand things from you. Even less with you being immortal. She's on a fine line between desperately needing help and just being a terrible person, There's controlling and then there's grating. One is established and its easy to fall into the second. 2) Over writing. I know this update was not massive in any way, but you spent half of it with a girl screaming, and your MC finding new ways to say her name over and over and express his head hurts. We do not know what's going on, but when it starts to feel padded with no pay off, it seems excessive. While I don't think you are that bad, a common pitfall of some of the writers on this site is they do not know when more dialogue is not adding anything. I get it, Marie is freaking out and she should be, but the audience is not. The MC is not. We saw what happened, we get the jist of what's going on. It's Peter from Family Guy hurting his knee at a point.. The point where our guy needed to piss is the moment all that excess drama feels like it should have ended with her grabbing at him and such. Still be panicked and confused, but understand we are not the girl in the scene even though she seems to be our window to lore dumps and exploring what's going on with our very old protag. Emphasis on her freaking out is not bad, her making the protag almost piss himself over it is. Beyond that I think you have a very solid base here with legs. I am very much looking forward to whats in store with this.

Mediocre game with some strengths but many weaknesses. It occasionally lands some snappy dialogue, but misses far more than it lands. The dialogue is uneven, sometimes bogging down and other times leaping ahead to awkwardly foreshadow the story arc. Graphics are middling, Not bad, but nothing remarkable. Wardrobe choices are hit and miss as well. Peach's worn clothing is an odd modification and I challenge anyone to show me a photo of a real police chief who walks around with her shirt unbuttoned down to the navel. A game that's, meh, okay, to play while you're waiting on your favs to update

It's way too early to be giving this 5 stars, but this game is better than 3. With all the crap AVNs out there, this one has started off strong and I think it has the potential to be one of the better AVNs out there. The story and the writing is strong and the characters are unique and well written and it kept me engaged through the whole thing. Sure there are scenes that could use some spit and polish and some of them last a little too long, but overall, it's a good story. Additionally, there is enough mystery to keep you engaged and looking for clues to reveal what is really going on. The problem with a some AVNs is they start strong and then slowly devolve into slop and lazy storytelling. This is because they have never fleshed out the entire story and besides having a good start, they had no idea of a middle or an ending. Either that or they start to bend to the wild ravings of the people and make changes they didn't originally intend. Based on the entire production, I have a good feeling the dev has the story all mapped out and will tell their story and not worry about trolls. I am definately looking forward to the next release and to see how this story progress. Good luck to a talented dev.

as an EP1 only it does have an amazingly fresh plot in the genre. crime + Immortality? Genius. the renders are also amazing and there a lot of potential going forwards with next episodes. really looking forward to the next ones.

V.Ep.1 i am sitting myself right on the fence with this one. we have a scene where the MC is at a crime scene and a rookie officer is holding him at gun point. the writer makes the point of intelligence on the MC's part and nervousness of a rookie officer riding solo. so why then does the MC go completely against how he is written to that point by giving the dumbest responses to an armed officer and in another weird twist why does the rookie NOT shoot him? i actually shouted at the screen, such was my bewilderment at the inconsistent characterisation. then it was all back to previous character. following this was an option to report the rookie or not. i chose to not but it happened anyway like i had next day, so that was another nice fuck you. visually this is good. it will be enough for some, awesome sauce to the fivers who think a slideshow or comic are also Visual Novels, and fall short for those wanting the full animated experience. for me, i prefer a VN or a vN. this delivers a decent enough opening to a developing plot that shows promise. unless another u-turn happens, i see no reason not to like this. with a few tweaks this could be a decent read, which despite this sites ratings for such things, is what a visual novel is all about. decent visuals makes a fap game. decent writing makes a franchise a la fate/stay i strongly sense i may adjust my rating up a star once we get really underway, but for now i am middling it. But not for long as this fence is the spiked type
