About Ethereal Threads

Ethereal Threads is a Ren'Py adult adventure by Comma69. You play as someone who survived a life-changing accident and wakes with broken memories and eerie visions. Rebuilding reality reveals links between strange dreams and other people's unresolved grief and forgotten tragedies. Decisions affect fragile relationships, mixing recovery with obsession. It features 3DCG and animated visuals, with adventure, romance, and humor themes.

The current build is Episode 5 v0.5.0, released October 16, 2026, with development continuing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English, with no censorship. The latest update revised the music player, added audio for Episode 5 sex scenes, added a journal, allowed custom save names and renaming existing saves, improved Android dialogue layout using a smaller text panel, and fixed a blank dialogue panel staying visible during choices. It lists 102 total animation files, over 2500 total renders, and more than 5500 script lines in Episode 5, including the outro.
