About Forbidden Desires

Forbidden Desires is an adult visual novel made by Scarlet Tales and built with an engine listed as Others. It uses 2D and AI CG art while telling a slow-burn story about John and Erika, a couple whose loving relationship is tested by jealousy, temptation, and a fantasy that neither can ignore. You play as John, making choices and reading intimate conversations, photographs, and replies that shape trust, disclosure, and how far the pair move together. The narrative focuses on romance, cheating, and corruption as boundaries are explored.

The current build is v0.2.1 Public Build, released September 19, 2026, and the game remains in public development. It runs on Windows and Android in English and is uncensored. This update continues the story through Chapter 5, adds the fourth and fifth chapters, covering a café break and the journey to a club, and includes new messages, choices, photos, and scenes with Erika, Noemi, and Jay. It also adds Life Goals and Notes linked to those decisions, a developer thank-you, chapter-start notifications, longer chat retention, improved time transitions, a Supporters section, Purple/Red/Blue themes, and refreshed icons and thumbnails.

Forbidden Desires is a slow-burn adult visual novel about lust, jealousy, temptation, and forbidden fantasies. John and Erika have built a loving relationship together. Then one confession begins to change the boundaries between love, curiosity, jealousy, and desire. Told through intimate conversations, photographs, and player choices, the story follows how their relationship evolves as they begin to explore a fantasy neither of them can simply forget. Every reply shapes what they reveal, how much they trust each other, and how far they are willing to go.
