About Forgetting

Forgetting is a Ren'Py game by mAd hOuse Games, using animated 3DCG visuals and point-and-click play. You take on the role of a male protagonist whose life changes after receiving terrible news. A breakthrough with his doctor gives him a plan, and with help from a longtime friend he begins dating again. The story blends romance and humor as he tries to learn what love, lust, and his new condition might mean, and whether he will choose a lasting connection or a more immediate match.

The current build is a demo labeled Week 2 v1.21, dated July 14, 2026. It is available on Windows, Mac, and Linux in English, with no censorship. The latest changelog notes an initial zone release, adding that zone.

Developer's description

Your main character has been hit with some terrible news. However, through a breakthrough with his doctor, he now has a plan to go forward. With the help of his longtime friend, he is going to go out and date (along with EVERYTHING that goes along with it). Will you be lucky in love or, at the very least, lust? Who will you choose to face the challenges of your new condition? Will you find Mrs Right or Mrs Right Now? Its all up to you!
