Gene Therapy is an adult narrative game made by root with an HTML engine. You play as Matt, whose marriage to Sarah is troubled. Both are unhappy, but Matt still wants to save the relationship, and a strange therapist becomes part of his attempt to fix it. The game uses average-quality 3DCG visuals and has a grindy pace, with themes including corruption, humiliation, and transformation.
The current build is v0.30, released on October 4, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest update also continues the story, adds a new location, and includes more animations. Earlier changes also introduced mini games, outfits, random events, bug fixes, and script improvements.

The game is divided into three chapters.
You play the first chapter (ver.015fix4) until you see the end of content message and save the game.
The save from the end of chapter 1 works in chapter 2, the save from chapter 2 work in chapter 3, and so on (All my game saves are in the game folder. The directory is called "saves").
