About Girl in the Attic
Girl in the Attic is a survival horror visual novel by Strange Girl, built with the Others engine and presented through 2D animated scenes. You play as a girl confined to the crawlspace over a stranger’s home, trying to survive night after night. During his sleep, you sneak downstairs to gather food and water, repair leaks, and search for clues about why you are there. The loop mixes stealth, careful choices, and light management while you avoid being noticed by him and by another presence in the house.
The v0.2 update, released on November 1, 2025, shows development is ongoing. It is a demo that extends play through Day 2 and includes completed Day 5 story content, plus two lewd scenes and gallery scenes. The build runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, with no censorship. Earlier, on September 30, 2025, the game was added to the Steam Wishlist.

You play as a girl hiding in the crawlspace above a man’s house—unknown to him, or so you hope. Your only goal is to survive. To last another day. To sneak down into his home while he sleeps. To steal scraps of food, find water, patch the leaks, and maybe figure out why you're here at all. But be careful. He hears things. He notices things. And he’s not alone in the house. Every night is a gamble. Every choice matters. Stay too long, and you might not make it back to the attic. Stay too hungry, and you might not care.
