Harem Gacha

This review covers version .3, so it may not be up to date depending on when this is read. Story: Mostly non existent. You sign of up for the Harem House and girls join via gacha. That's pretty much it. The game understands that it is basically a light porn game and rolls with it. You can piece together background of characters from interactions or read their background after getting them to 4 stars. Gameplay: Each day you can talk with the girls, give them a gift once per day (they are fine with most, love 1 and hate one) and date them once per day. Dates and giving gifts generate points used to draw from the gacha. You mostly get gifts, and will get an outfit every tenth draw. If the outfit is one you already have, you get points that can be used to buy outfits or scenes. You will always also draw a girl after enough pulls (and if you already have her, get enough points to purchase an outfit). As you get more hearts, more options open up until sex occurs. There is no gameover state, as you have one girl already. Some locations for dates require girls to be wearing the correct outfits. Finally, scenes can occur when enough girls have the correct outfits on (giving you gacha points as well). Porn: Content is vanilla and only consensual, which works well for a cheerful light game. Art: Art style is generative, with all the pros and cons associated with it. Characters: Characters are all quite busty, and due to generative limitations, more specific differences due to age (all above 18) and height aren't especially apparent. Character writing does give each character a distinct personality (though it usually revolves around one aspect of their character, more depth has shown up in more recent content). Scenes of them interacting with each other adds to the characterization (pity that we can't replay scenes yet). Lastly, I will note that the dev has been adding to and improving the game on a consistent basis. So, it will likely continue to improve. All in all, a fun little game, but the grind can get annoying. It does definitely have potential, and the fact that it continues to receive regular updates is always appreciated (and all too rare, with too many projects dying quickly). Remove a star if you despise any kind of grind, and add a star if you want a light porn game with no drama or saving the world.

I like the idea of a VN gacha game but so far i haven't seen anyone doing it in a way that its not a grind fest. The girls are cute and I liked their different outfits but the scenes are really underwhelming, especially the ones you buy at the shop. I watched all the scenes of the first girl and got bored before unlocking any more scenes from the other girls...so yeah, with a little bit of work it can be fun but for now it isn't, maybe i'll be checking future updates tho
