Heartsteel is an adult fantasy RPG that follows the story of a solitary human farmer, living a quiet life in a rural village. Tensions between humans and elves run deep—so deep that encounters usually end in bloodshed. But everything changes when he stumbles upon a dark-skinned elf, Asha, wounded and alone. Spoiler Among elves, those with dark skin are treated as property by their pale-skinned kin—used, enslaved, discarded. Among humans, they’re seen as threats. Despite the risks, the farmer chooses compassion over fear, secretly taking Asha into his home to recover. Hiding her is a crime punishable by death, but he does it anyway. Asha, with nowhere to go and no one to trust, slowly begins to rely on him. She keeps the house while he works the farm—but the harvest isn't enough to feed two mouths, and their time is running out. To survive—and to finally chase the dream he buried years ago—the farmer convinces Asha to join him on the road as an adventurer. With a hooded cloak to conceal her identity, the two begin a new life together, facing monsters, mercenaries, and the growing bond between them. As danger draws closer and trust turns to desire, their relationship deepens into something far more intimate.

Too early to give this game a decent rating. In its current state the game is fairly empty. Lots of running around with little to do. Only a few quests available and I got stuck at obtaining a cloak for Asha. Couldn't find it anywhere, as others have noted as well in the thread. If the cloak isn't available in the game the quest info should have that highlighted "wip" or "next update". I bought the "Tunic" in the shop but that didn't work for quest, and it can't even be equipped on the player either - seriously! Day/Night transition is way too fast and the current map is very limited. In order to load a save you need to exit to title, this needs to be fixed. Hopefully this game gets fleshed out soon. Until then my rating stays at 2.

I love this concept but this is basically a demo right now. I really hope the developer keeps going with this project, because I could see this being a really fun game if/when a plot is made, and more gameplay get added. In it's current state though, it doesn't have much going for it. I am leaving this as a 4/5 because I want this to be better, but it really isn't that good right now.
