Good pacing, wish ending was a bit better and they took the game a bit further. Animation was better then I thought at times. Lacking autosave is a bit annoying. Voice work is a nice touch. Felt like they setup a spicier final scene where the girlfriend leaves the MC behind up, but then never executed on it.

Only three stars because I like the studio. It's well made and okay fast food. It was completed much faster than their other work, but that can be okay if it funds other projects? The best scene is the first one(still short), afterwards it's just okay. No in-depth work done on them really. The last scene is good but ends on a tease, maybe a sequel?

His Bet, Her Loss [v1.0] – Completed I’m torn between 4 and 5 stars for this kinetic novel (no choices), because as a mystery-driven NTR story it’s damn good - but in my view, it also has a few weaknesses. For anyone who hasn’t started yet: playing Kurt’s POV first and Heather’s POV afterward is clearly the right way to go. The following sections contain spoilers! I really enjoyed the mystery part from Kurt’s perspective. Kurt is the ultimate embodiment of a cuck and is deliberately exaggerated in that role. His inability to correctly interpret certain 'noises' or 'signs' is probably his greatest weakness, closely followed by the fact that he accepts yet another bet even though he already cursed himself for taking the first one - and, of course, his complete lack of common sense when it comes to alcohol, despite clearly not being able to handle it. The story is very well constructed and full of interesting scenes. As the reader, you know the entire time that something is going on behind Kurt’s back between Heather and Derrick - but you don’t know exactly what. There are hardly any limits to your imagination here. The mystery builds cleanly toward its climax in the second drinking contest, in which the incorrigible Kurt naturally loses for the second time. This scene is fantastically executed, visually but especially through its sound design. Absolute chef’s kiss ⭐ From Heather’s perspective (or the all-perspectives view), we finally see what is really happening behind the scenes. I want to mention here that Heather’s character development is one of the best I’ve encountered so far in NTR stories . Her personality and transformation feel believable and follow a slow, comprehensible path of corruption. I did struggle with Derrick, the bull. He was simply too smooth for my taste - like a ladies’ man with a psychology degree. I don’t know whether the "My Lovely Hero" manga reference is something that actually exists in real life, but the way Derrick is able to build such a deep connection with Heather through this story felt somewhat too constructed to me. Out of all the main characters, I liked his personality the least. That said, with the beautifully drawn images, fitting background music, and well-used sound effects, this would otherwise be a crystal-clear 5-star experience. The fact that Heather is fully voiced is a nice extra - even if I had to mute it because I don’t understand Japanese??? What Really Bothered Me What clearly bothered me was the blackmail-driven and forced escalation into the first vaginal sex scene after the initial drinking contest, as well as the deepthroat scene in the gondola the following day. On top of that, using a creampie in the first sex scene removes what could have been a key scene later on. The final scene not only loses that highlight, but also lacks a creampie climax entirely. But coming back to the moment where Heather is pressured into sex - even if she is drunk and thinks she can be blackmailed by Derrick - the NTR aspect loses a lot of its impact for me because of these rapey scenes. One can argue that she is still somehow on board, reacting to Derrick’s dominance and physical presence, but that scene was a real turn-off. In my opinion, it harmed the story significantly. Final Verdict I ultimately land at 4 stars . In addition to the aggressive framing of the first sex scene, I also found some H-scenes to be narratively overlong without offering enough visual variety to make that worthwhile. The ending screams for a continuation. Let’s hope that Hangover Cat delivers it.

Loved the fast food NTR, we got what he promised with good quality and I enjoyed it. Great hidden scenes that let your imagination fly. Also, a great twist involving the switch between the MC POV and all the POVs.

That's a great and pretty short NTR story. Of course the MC is stupid. And doesn;t understand the obvious things. But that is the foundation of the genre. So it's not a bad thing for me. Overall, it has very good CG. It has decent dialogues. It is voiced. And it's not too long. Although, so scenes are a little bit too long for me. But overall it's a great game.

Haven't played the story in all perspectives yet, but the story from the protagonist's view has been entertaining. As long as you have an open mind and aren't too hung up on porn logic, I think anyone who enjoys NTR will get quite a kick out of this game. 5 stars for me! Now to go enjoy the second half of the game...

Amazing game, it's fast paced which I appreciate and the female lead is just so damn hot that I really hope the dev makes a sequel. The voice actress also did great, She made this hundred times better. It's a bit laggy but it's probably because of the animation, it looks appealing to the eyes. (Fair warning: there's a lot of vanilla fanboys here that rated this one star and pretends that it's cause of writing but they're just whining)

Trope heavy short NTR VN with good art but lacking tension/plot/conclusion VN with no choices other than viewing Protagonist or All perspectives. Art + Live 2D animated scenes + voice acting do much of the heavy lifting as far as the rating goes. The ending is abrupt and doesn't give satisfying conclusion or resolution for characters involved. This is my least favorite Hangover cat work, it was still worth experiencing however.

Writing is up the genre's ass for the genre's tropes, up its own ass for using those same tropes, and up my ass for being willing to pay for the use of those tropes. It's a load of verbose wank and the characterization is the wankiest of all. Porn's fine, if somehow less convincing than Skinimax softcores. ...was that ending a sequel hook? I genuinely couldn't tell. I also don't care and never want to see these characters again. TLDR: I have a hateboner for this whole affair.

Awesome Game Loved It. Its one of those somewhat short but great games that leave you wanting more. But when it hits it hits Story: 5/5 - Its an easy to understand story, Generic NTR characters, and most importantly a Super Hot MC Girl and that's all you need. CG/Animation: 5/5 - Hangover Cat makes amazing animation and CGs so this is just along the way. I do wish the Forced skylift blowjob scene was a little bit more prolonged and stretched out And was a bit more polished looking like the bathroom blowjob was. Overall: 5/5 - It checks all of the boxes for what it's displayed as. I wish it was longer. Hopefully there's a sequel.

I enjoyed reading through the male protagonist's experience even though it was long, winded and boring. the suspense the devs think they're creating isn't really all that much there. there's a half decent scene at the end but it's not worth reading a whole visual novel just for one scene. I suppose i've seen worse but this could've been way better. It's the second visual novel I read through to the end by this dev and for good reason, because from the first one i read I felt there's a lot of wasted potential and anticlimactic decisions. I liked this one more than the first one i read from them which I won't mention so i guess they're improving. Hopefully everything is going to progress towards better

I'm a big fan of A Promise Best Left Unkept, and following every game that HangOverCat create, and have a strong niche "Ntr with Game/Rule" At first, I thought that when his friend got the bottom bunk, something erotic would happen, like she's going to the toilet in the middle of the night and catch a sight of her boyfriend's friend bulge on his pants/shorts while he's sleeping. Everything escalate very quick, she accept to have sex with her boyfriend's friend for or from a weak reasons. Pros (CG): The best scenes for me was when her boyfriend's friend sitting close with his girlfriend in front of him, when her boyfriend's friend getting handies with her girlfriend in front of him without anyone noticing in the hot spring or swimming pool. I love everything about suspicious movement like her boyfriend's friend moving his hand or sit closer and closer and getting touchy but unnoticed in front of him, make the MC uncomfortable without making him a cuck but just a pure innocent and really trusting and loving his girlfriend that he thinking that his girlfriend just being friendly with his friend. Cons (CG) : - Flat bulge on her boyfriend's friend pants but he have a monster penis - If i'm not wrong in the first time she's have sex with her boyfriend's friend without condom (raw), it lost the erotic point when you can see how much is he can produce sperm in one round, but mostly lost the erotic point about "she's a good girl that never have sex in the first attempt and never have raw sex in the first time with that new person in her life" - Only this game from entire HangOver Cat producing "only one round sex" when they have sex, the "can still go on without rest" already gone, even he will fuck her again in the next few hours it just hit different. - Low time information, i'm hoping there is a time on the screen or wherever they are there is a clock or phone to show the time - Low items to corrupt her, only alcohol and only two times at the very beginning and when she already lost her mind, there is a lot of stuff to corrupt her that you can imagine, Pills for increasing her lust, Aphrodisiac Aromatherapy for increasing her lust, Aphrodisiac Lotion for increasing Sensitive Area (You can apply this on her nips first, and then her pussy and using all over her body in the late story to escalate the story), pills for stamina for men, pills for increasing sperm count, pills for enlargment penis temporary or maybe permanent, Penis Pump Vacuum for enlargment penis temporary So far I'm enjoying some part of the story I'm hoping for the best for HangoverCat, and create more erotic story and more sexier than real life story but still make sense.

Absolute worst part of this train wreck has to be the characters themselves. The main guy is a complete moron who lacks any common sense whatsoever, making him impossible to root for. Then you have the female lead, who is just incredibly loose and unfaithful right from the get-go. It makes zero sense why these two are even a couple because their relationship is clearly awful from the very first scene. I have a major beef with how this is set up as a kinetic novel. Since you can't make any choices, you'd expect the story to actually be good to make up for the lack of gameplay, but it falls completely flat. Instead of a gripping narrative, you get a plot that rushes from zero to a hundred instantly, completely skipping any interesting buildup or corruption arc. It’s honestly lazy writing, relying on tired, eye-rolling tropes like the rival always being "bigger" than the protagonist. The visual side is a letdown too, with way too many reused assets and moments where the art just seems to be missing entirely. There are even bugs where things like phone screens just show up as blank white squares, which screams a lack of polish. The logic is totally broken; characters hook up immediately while the main guy is blacked out, leaving no room for actual suspense or drama. It tries to be clever with some meta-commentary at the start but quickly devolves into the same old generic garbage we've seen a million times. The animations are barely there, making the whole experience feel static, cheap, and unfinished. Even the so-called "mystery" aspect is a total bore because there are no real clues, just random events happening off-screen without explanation. It feels like they didn't have enough art to tell the story they wanted, so they just cut corners everywhere. Honestly, the characters behave so stupidly and unnaturally that it ruins any immersion you might have had.

This one is a bit on the dissapointing side. First of, it's a kinetic novel, so I expect a decent story since there are no branching paths or anything to take into account, and yet it isn't here. The story starts by criticizing porn logic and building it's meta-narrative on porn logic (which is the setup, not complaining) but the process in which it all happens it's so quick and forced that it loses it's interest. It moves from an interesting idea, to just being the same old cliche. Images are pretty decent but clearly insufficient in amount: there are lots of scenes that would require a specific image that doesn't exist (not a bug) or that reuses images often from that same scene. Animations are very basic and again, very few. Sound is above average, with VO for the FMC (in japanese) and music (which I turned off like I always do). As for bugs, it has only a few minor ones, like a few images missing (this time as a bug, the phone for example showing a white blank on its screen). So, all in all, it's not terrible if you're looking for a quick, mindless fap, but even for that there are better options around.

Moral of the story; If you got a girlfriend who is obssessed with her favourite anime, you will get cucked. And you will get cucked HARD and FAST that is. There's two types of gameplay options in this game: Mystery NTR and All perspectives NTR. Mystery NTR was pretty uneventful and kept me guesing. But there was a mystery of course and it kept me in suspense, excited. Like when I'm gonna catch the little hints or see them at it. When I finished the mystery NTR, I was excited because of the all perspectives version. I'm gonna see all the action after all. I was pretty disappointed. Spoiler Alert!: The FMC and the bull FUCKED at the first opportunity. I didn't even realize it in the mystery version because the mc was passed out drunk and there were NOT A SINGLE indication that they did the deed yesterday night. What the hell? Where is the pacing? Where is the corruption? Where is the suspense? All they did was talk about their fav anime and in that night she got hammered and gets fucked. Not a rape as well. She just didn't acknowledge what was happening after the deed was done like a dumbfuck retard. Anyways if it wasn't for the pacing, I'd give it a nice rating but damn it ruined the experience. Scenes are good and there is japanese dialogue and lewd sounds for the FMC.

The writing is pretty terrible, the animation is okay though. It's one of the games where they can't make a good story so it's just sex, but then try to add story, it goes from 0 to 100 in no time at all. Also these NTR games really should try losing the trope of every guy is bigger than the boyfriend, it's lazy.

Disclaimer: I don't consider myself a netorare fan at all, just a netori/cheating fan. But just like with the dev's previous work NTR'd by Clumsiness, the dual-narrative structure makes it totally enjoyable for me when considered from Heather's perspective as a cheating story. You may feel differently if you play it. I will still use "MC" to refer to Heather's boyfriend Karl. And this is a kinetic novel, so there are zero choices (as of update 0.7) --- I'm gonna have a lot to say here. It's pretty shocking to me, reading the negative reviews and comments (moreso the comments than the reviews, at time of writing). I have my own critiques of the game that align with what's been said, and I'll get to that, but first, there's so much this project is doing RIGHT. The art and general visuals are fucking fantastic. There are very fluid animations, nicely animated sprites, there's superb voice acting for Heather (though the voice work is in Japanese which is surprising for an English-written VN, but I love it) , and the pacing is basically perfect for my taste. Perhaps part of why I enjoy this so much is that I especially love the two "suspense" music tracks used, and music may sway me more than the average person. Oh yeah, and the UI is gloriously polished. People don't point out that shit but it matters and it's great. Also, I love massive honkin' badonkers, so that's obviously playing a big role too lol. So, let's talk about the writing. You know the premise: MC bets his rival that rival can't seduce MC's girlfriend on a skiing trip, because he thinks NTR stories are absurd. The irony is that the very story he's in is rather absurd. In addition, he's oblivious and whiny, which serves the story perfectly for what it's trying to do. In a cheating story, one of the classic questions a writer has to ask is "how do I get the would-be cheaters alone together?" This story takes a shortcut by having the bet include a clause that MC has to obey one request from his rival each day. It's nothing too outlandish, just enough to conveniently get the rival alone with MC's girlfriend for short periods. So all this to say, the story is blunt and kind of pure in that sense. The dev seemingly treats it like a fun throwaway idea he wanted to do on the side but I think it succeeds strongly at being engaging and erotic, even if I do take issue with some parts. Let's discuss those. Spoiler: The Characters With the exception of Heather, the characters are pretty negative people, and there's a lot of constant bickering that goes on. I think overall it works well to set up the scenes, but there is a certain tone that's set that you may find unenjoyable. The "bull," MC's rival, is definitely an arrogant self-centered fucker. Personally, I don't like those types of characters, and they're very common in these types of stories, but whatever. He's more reserved than you usually see with these types, and could be worse. I still am able to enjoy the hot scenes. Spoiler: The First Sex Scene I gotta admit I agree with what I've seen others say on this: The first sex scene is...a bit forceful for my taste. We're given a lot of clues throughout the scene that she's enjoying it, she isn't really restrained and could get away from the situation rather easily if she REALLY wanted to, but...let's just say it's more aggressive than I expected for the first scene. In general, the story is very much the classic "guy pushes, girl resists" which isn't a dynamic I'm generally drawn towards. I was hoping the story was going to involve a little more genuine emotional seduction. But hey, I'm here giving this 5 stars because I still found the scenes very well-executed. As for the later scenes, they go about how you'd expect, becoming more and more consensual as her corruption gets more and more hot. I want to praise the visual direction some more, because it's not just the art style, it's the composition of certain scenes. There's a scene in the pool where the rival and MC's girlfriend are in the background blurred out, and we see her making an aroused face while MC's distracted. It's...really effective. Or the most recent sex scene where her face is revealed between thrusts and her expression keeps changing. Fucking magnificent. So sure, I have my complaints and things I'd change, but this project overwhelmed me with too many other high-quality aspects that totally sucked me into it for a while, and I can't in good conscience give less than 5 stars for that. As an erotic work, I think it stays focused and absolutely succeeds at what it's trying to do. Spoiler: EDIT: Version 1.0 - My thoughts on the ending (spoilers) The final sex scene is sooo hot, and all the way up through to the end, I feel like HangoverCat's presentation is so professional and high-quality. But it's a surprising decision to me to suddenly pivot right at the end and have them NOT do the raw sex and sex partners thing. That was disappointing because Heather's sudden shift to frantically smiling and begging to do it raw was one of the hottest moments in the entire story imo, and suddenly it's decided to deny that. Why? In general, the ending feels written in a way that's more concerned about allowing for a sequel than about feeling resolved and satisfying. I feel it would have been easy to just continue the sex scene to the conclusion he teased, have them become sex partners, the end. Instead he wrote it in a way to goad out requests for a sequel, which would be fine if that seemed like something that he...wanted to do? But personally it seems like he'd rather move on, so I don't get this maneuver. Maybe this ending felt resolved enough to the dev, and maybe doing it raw didn't strike him as a mandatory ingredient for a satisfying ending. I dunno. Anyway, I'd rather not dwell on that, because ultimately this project is one of the rare few works on f95zone that I was able to really enjoy overall. I daresay it forced me to think a little more critically about the nature of netorare and perspective, and how the line between netorare, netori, and a protagonist cheating on their partner can all get more blurred than I used to think. I was able to enjoy scenes from Karl's perspective because that perspective felt temporary, and while I would firmly maintain that I'm still very much not into the netorare genre as a whole, this work manages to help me understand a little better the people who do like it. And for all the hate netori and netorare fans will sling at each other, I think that's kinda cool. Ultimately, I have my complaints, but the level of vitriol this project gets for how high-effort it is continues to surprise me. I've never seen so many people who dislike the "bigger dick" trope all gather in one place before. It's probably because Karl's dick is just so comically small, and I bet if he just had a normal dick it'd still look pathetic compared to his rival's and fewer people would mind. No idea, though. I think it's clear that your enjoyment of this is largely going to come down to the premise and characters, and if you can accept the tone of the story then you're in for a treat. I'm still giving it 5 stars because it's a damn compelling and enjoyable experience if you can buy into it enough.

I admit it: this game is one of those that live rent free in my head and I'm actively looking forward for new releases. It is really good. Decent writing, pretty girl, nice art and animations, plain and simple NTR scenario. I see complains about "same ol' tropes", but to be honest - you don't need each game to have something "new", "fresh" and "outstanding". Sometimes you just want to enjoy a high-quality "basic" content, like seeing "Friends" for 123th time. This game is exactly that: it brings smooth and classic pleasure of well-drawn NTR story about some pretty girl, pushy bull and pathetic cuck. 5 out of 5.

Started off good then went downhill fast. tldr: Same unimaginative tropes with a shinier coat of paint than most. Story was unique and by the standards of most NTR games on here that alone is a huge plus. Unfortunately, that creativity ends there. Then it goes down the same tropes we've seen a dozen times. MC gets dunk and passes out in spite of being very aware of something being off with his girl and the other guy. Size play, of course. Because the only reason women cheat is because of dick sizes . Toxic fem who is inadvertently running interference for the antagonist. At least it's not her best friend but the fact that it's some convenient random girl doesn't make her much better. Which leads to the slew of other conveniences. Sure, many are caused by the antagonist, which is fair. But those are drowned out by often immediate all too convenient plot events making suspension of disbelief a little hard. MC's IQ plummets whenever necessary. A bit of a shame because he comes across as someone with half a brain but it's oddly absent at critical moments. There are some good things about the game. I like the art and even though I'm not big on oversized tits, the FMC is still pretty enough. The MC's pride being an issue would be good -- if there was a reason for him to be prideful. He has one of the smallest dicks I've seen in these games. It's also implied (maybe directly, I forget) that he knows he's not all that and has got a girl above his station. His personality is all over the place. What does he even base this pride on? Most people are at least self-aware of some of their faults. The are some parts that I liked quite a bit, but they are quickly drowned out by material that feels like the game is codeveloped by the low effort NTR phone games. Overall, it makes the game feel bipolar. Pass for me and those tired of the sameness of these stories. But if you're in for a useless MC and pretty images, you find yourself a gem.
