A decent 3D character creator. Don't expect much plot or gameplay. It's more a sandbox that is what you make of it, mingling with characters of your choosing and perhaps of your own creation. Thanks to lots of community mod support the game is kept alive.

It's a fun sandbox simulator with plenty of mods and support to keep the game alive for years to come. There's a learning curve to modding, and using Studio is also a hassle, but once you learn how it works, it breathes new life into this game. Creating Characters and sharing character cards is very fun.

This is not a video game with actualized gameplay. This is a simulator game where you create characters (only women, really, because the male creator only lets you create John Select due to the limitations for the male creator). That's it. There's a few animations, and most of them don't add up to a very erotic experience. Just a model stroking itself upon a shaft. The male doesn't moan, the female moans too much, the dick penetrates skin, and so on and so forth. So let me reiterate again, this is not a video game in the same sense that something like Artificial Academy 1/2(also made by illusion)is, which has real gameplay. If you're looking at it from THAT sense, this is a bland to a mediocre sex simulator. So why the 4 stars? If we were to grade this as a sex game, this game fails miserably, but on the other front, as a simulation for character creation and using the studio mode implemented (which has spawned multiple creative (and some not so creative) works on this very site), you're able to create quite compelling narratives for the enjoyment of yourself and others. And I think that's worth considering. "Game" - Should you play this if you're looking for something to jerk off to? Eh, I'd say no, unless you want to relive the shortlived dream you had when you were a wee lad when you banged tifa in your dreams. 1/5 "Creator/Simulator" - On the other hand, if you have an inkling of an interest in making your own characters or stories, give it a shot. Whether it's to share something with others, or just to mess around with it for your own enjoyment, this game is a good baseline for something like that. 4/5

Ok, i have to say this is my favorite sim, that being said it had amazing potential but failed incredibly , for 1 why go for photo realism without going all in on realism, what do I mean? well here we go, i love the character creation and the mods to make it better but it falls short horribly for me for many reasons, you cannot edit penis size without a mod and even with a mod it makes no difference same with vagina size , no matter how big or tight you make it , it makes no difference, the girls can fit telephone poles for dick sizes, there is no realism in male character creation, each male character registers as the same player, this is a massive fail, i want males that are friendly and some that are evil and i want the females to be able to distinguish between the 2 as SEPERATE PLAYERS , aka like 1 and fear the other, same goes with penis size, both the males and the females should be able to distinguish between tight and loose vaginas as well as the women to recognize between huge and small penis's also not that some penis's should be too big to fit, ans once a female has been gaped by a mandingo the smaller guy should be able to tell her vaginal looseness and respond accordingly , maybe even introduce a stamina bar to work with the orgasm bar and the looser the vagina the longer it takes to orgasm, to the point where if it becomes too loose the male loses stamina before having an orgasm and so on, these are all opportunity's missed and i hope i see the day when a game is made that checks all these boxes. for me that would be a 5 star game and no game will ever get 5 stars from until they check all those boxes

When I was a wee nerd, I took a picture of Black Cat from Spiderman Cartoon Maker over to mspaint, and tried to color her black outfit in with a flesh color, to try and make her look naked. This is way better than that! Honey Select 2 certainly has a learning curve, but once a nerd is over the hump, it's a Willa-Wonkian land of pure imagination. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you tend toward more realistic/mature models like I do. The studio that comes with Honey Select 2 is pure fantasy fuel, that has a steeper learning curve than the game, but this studio can become the gift that keeps on giving if you learn it. In fact, it just gave me the gift of Tifa, Taki, and Sheva all in the shower together. Joy to the world, joy to this game.

I'm using it almost exclusively for VR, so I'm comparing them to other VR sex games. Played using Index. Is there real gameplay in this game? Not really. Technically you can go to different rooms that have girls, and based on positions you have sex in, change their predispositions. In VR there's not even that, it's just the sex scenes (pick the girl, male model, room, girl mental state and off you go). The interactivity in VR is also partially limited; yes, you can grab boobs, ass, finger the pussy; there is little to no interactivity with the clothes (can't grab, roll up, or take off). All of those actions have to be done through menus you have to open and "hang" in VR space. The "possession" aspect is also limited to your head, and it's not actually linked to the body. While there are controls to easily reset the position and view direction to the male model, you can always move around. The nice thing is that if the camera is close to the head, the whole head disappears, so there is no issues with clipping (it does make your shadow headless unfortunately). You can easily clip through girls or environments, which while immersion breaking, is a more ergonomic solution (as moving the world around you so that you don't clip is nauseating). So, why the high score? It's basically one of only two VR sex games to which I come back to over and over again (the other being Koikatsu/Koikatsu Sunshine). The amount of clothing options is simply overwhelming. The customization options for those items are also huge (it's possible to change the shaders and shader settings used for particular pieces of clothing!). The character editor is both incredibly powerful and easy to use (leagues ahead of what Virt-a-Mate has). Even if you can't find a character card with your particular kinks, making the girl (or boy, you can make the character have male characteristics and a penis) with a different body type, like with thick thighs, big boobs, or totally flat with skinny legs, as long as it's not too far from the original card, will require changing just few well labeled sliders. Yeah, the ready-to use character cards... There are literally tens of thousands of character cards, ones that include famous actresses (both mass media and porn ones), game characters, "realified" anime or cartoon characters, and original characters. There's everything. If I could give fractional ratings, then this would be 4.5/5, but only because I find Koikatsu better: HS2 aims for realistic look, but doesn't quite achieve it. Koikatsu aims for anime look and gets it. Koikatsu cards can also have multiple outfits, so for established characters it makes it much easier to switch between them. For consistent, reliable, and ergonomic VR experience that's not repetitive, I have found nothing better, but Koikatsu, and that is only marginally. The only thing that even is on the same planet, let alone ballpark, is Virt-A-Mate, but that thing is a usability nightmare and has much fewer clothing and ready character options. I probably should also mention that it has a scene editor, but then if you've seem more than 3 Ren'Py games on this site, you'll be familiar with either HS2 or Koikatsu editor output already...

Nobody does the genre better than honey select. Personally this is just dress up with my favorite characters from anything and everything. Dressing up and editing my favorite girls has kept me entertained for hours before. The visuals are amazing albeit not that different from HS1. All the naughty stuff is just a bonus. Truly a staple in the horny game genre.

If you played one HS u played it all. at this point i must say there are other free game on this site that is way better in terms of gameplay and content. it might be mind blowing for those which never play this game but it get boring after less than an hour when nothing is new. Suffice to say this version is just a more graphically polished version compared with its predecessors. Besides that nothing significantly new worthy of mention apart of less clipping. This is definitely not the best game my country could make. It was ground breaking in its early days but lately this studio is just lazy. Without the effort thrown in by modders this game is a waste of time. Don't bother playing without mods. The character creator is the only thing to shout about for the game. while gameplay itself is an insult and embarassment.

The game is great if you want to add a literal shit ton of mods to get practically every female game character ever created into your harem, my own game is full of Final Fantasy girls who never say no and never mind the fact the male avatars they bang all look like ass. A lot of games here on F95 are made using HS2 assets and there are some great ones to chose from, but if you just want to spend some time playing an HS game to fap then stick to the first one. 80% of the animations are common across both games anyhow.

Basically just honey select with few minor additions, recycled animations, same graphics, same customization, if you played honey select or any of their previous unity game you're not getting much more, play some scenes, no interactivity, lackluster creampies and cumshots (nor proper liquid physics), no pregnancy, no common fetishes (belly bulging, x-ray), no condom play, no risk, nothing interesting, girls have few generic personalities you can change at will (as you can their looks) so it's not very immersive when you can literally change anything about the girls in few seconds and stop heaving to deal with what you didn't like, everything is perfect and thus boring. Great for making boring renpy games, bad for actually enjoying anything close to a good simulation. 2 stars for decent graphics but then they didn't really do much to improve over what was already in their previous unity games. Animations are ok I guess but they are not dynamic in any way, each plays out the same way, there are no significant differences based on if girls likes it or not, facial expressions are very bad, most girls look like they have brain damage, you can adjust size of your penis but all it does it makes it go through their bodies, basically game doesn't really care about proportions or sizes of the character models sicne again, animations are all premade and do not adjust based on anything so it's very easy to get clipping and lack of proper penetration. You want good simulation game? Play something else.

Another disillusion from Illusion. Yes, the characters look good and customisation is still very developed, but that's about it. They haven't changed much in their games in a decade or so. There is still no decent scenario whatsoever. Interactions and dialogues with the girls are close to non-existent. Sex scenes are all the same regardless of the girl. I was bored after 10 minutes. You can fuck her ass right away, she won't say a thing. It's always so easy to reach orgasm together that I don't even see the point of the two pleasure bars. They could have just put a button "cum together". They regressed on the clipping issues during penetration, with the dick stabbing the girl outside her pussy. I feel that with all the money Illusion make, they could try to write a scenario for once. And also pay for an English translation; it's not like they ignore their games are played in the rest of the world, but I suppose they are happy with their earnings and don't want to leave their mediocrity. One of my favorite character creation tools ever. Lots of mods and plugins to add in cloths, face models and so on. The game part's UI is a bit odd in places, but even then it's got some VERY good animations, lots of position options and, again, mods mean more placed to bust a nut. Yes, the install size is on the large side, but you're getting quality models and textures as part of that, not to mention several mods and plugins taht make the game and character creation more fun.
