About House Rules

House Rules is a Ren'Py dating sim made by Pink Lace Games. You play as a male protagonist who inherits an apartment complex, but failing to keep it occupied puts the property at risk. Beautiful tenants arrive with their own plans, while a sleazy developer works against you. The game uses 2D AI-generated animated CG art and blends humor, romance, and harem choices in a sandbox-style building management setup.

The current build is a demo, released on October 27, 2026. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is not censored. The latest changelog entry is v1.0 Demo Release, marking the initial playable version.

Developer's description

You've just inherited an apartment complex, but you have to keep it occupied or lose it. Soon you're overrun with beautiful tenants, each with their own agenda. Meanwhile, a sleazy developer is undermining you at every turn. You must save the building, set the rules... and find out which rules are worth breaking!
