Hunky City

While it is ambitious and interesting in many ways , Hunky City is undermined by its poor writing and tedious game systems. The game presents well, with great art and a fully 3D game world, but you'll quickly find that navigation and menus are pretty clunky. The game also has a completely arbitrary hunger meter that adds nothing to the experience. These issues would be easy to gloss over if the core of the game (hanging out with hot dudes) was solid, but every relationship basically plays out identically: You meet a guy, you repeat a handful of basic interactions until their relationship meter fills up, become "boyfriends" and bang. Becoming boyfriends doesn't change any of your interactions, it's just an end-state for the relationship and adds the option for a single repeatable sex scene. Worst of all, the writing is so bad that every guy effectively has the same personality and "voice" and the sex scene descriptions are so dull that they actively undermine the otherwise hot art. All in all, the game has interesting ideas, but the payoff isn't worth the grind. I'd rate it lower, but I've got to give props to the art (which, despite the style, doesn't actually seem to be AI generated) and ambition.

Well, after doing everything in the game here I am The game is actually fun, but the negative points can sometimes be quite annoying (like the blessed Tetris game or even the lack of clarity to activate certain events). However, one of the things that left me most disappointed were the +18 scenes, in the end they are so fast that it doesn't even seem like anything happened What ends up making this game average/fun and not bad in my opinion ends up being the charisma of some characters who end up carrying the game, even though their moments are very fast.

Hunky City [Demo] - Interesting Idea, Poor Execution: Pros: Interesting Idea - A dating sim with elements of 2.5D sandbox life sim. Flashy Intro. Decent graphic quality and music. Cons: Doesn't have anything that makes 2.5D sandbox life sim interesting, but comes with every thing it's bad at Time Waster: Money, time and hunger don't offer any fun interaction nor gameplay value, solely there to waste your time. Slow walking serves no purpose, offers no immersion. Should totally be replaced by fast travel. 3D control is terrible, interactions rarely register The whole gameplay feels very sluggish and unpolished. UI is Clunky. AI Arts you already see thousands of times, nothing interesting, tho nothing is bad, just as AI Art goes. Same Face Syndrome. No facial expression / Uncanny facial expression. Despite being a dating sim, MC can't be customised. Cautionary tale: Be sure TO Enable your Firewall!!! Despite being an offline Demo, the first thing upon launch is the game askin' for Internet access.
