About Hyperreality

Hyperreality is an adult adventure and kinetic novel made with Ren'Py by Simulated Despair. You play a male protagonist caught between fading memories of a forgotten past and the growing dominance of artificial intelligence. The story moves through distorted layers of reality and different worlds, while themes of mind control, corruption, and male domination shape the experience. Its visuals use 2D AI-generated CG art to present characters and scenes.

The current build is v1.1, released on May 15, 2025, and development is ongoing after the initial public v1.0 Part 1 release. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Android, is written in English, and is uncensored. The latest v1.1 update is a polishing pass. It improves character art and CGs, with attention to overall appearance. Polished art for Faye, Brayonetta, and Lucy is included, along with revised CGs featuring Brayonetta, Hinata, Tracer, Sakura, and a scientist. Updated CGs also appear in preview images.
