Simply brilliant! I played something similar a while ago, like To Be a King, but in terms of political games and such, it wasn't as interesting. Imperial Chronicles is a completely different, much higher level. The game is quite varied, the girls are beautiful, and each has their own personality. I especially like the routes of all three of the main character's sisters, but I still like one of them a little more) Each LM's update brings something interesting in terms of storyline, new characters, and interactions with familiar ones. The updates themselves are released fairly frequently, and the developer doesn't bother with unnecessary nonsense like rewriting parts of the plot or completely remaking the game. As the saying goes: What else do you need to be happy?)

This game’s got real potential but you can tell the Dev’s learning as he goes, which isn’t bad but you can also feel the improv, and that’s where things get messy. And the biggest example is the branching paths. Don’t get me wrong... I love that you get so many choices that actually change the story, but some feel off. Like "Killing Cass" or "Being cruel to Elin" or "marrying Isis" i mean yeah its cool to have the choice, but it’s obviously not the “main” path. With Isis everything points to her betraying you... and even if you pick her, you still end up going north. Aurora’s the canon wife, no question. I was hoping for a Cleopatra-style arc with Isis, you know what i mean? a path where you could actually make her loyal. But once you marry her even the power struggle just… vanishes. Feels like the Dev got swamped by too many branches. Recent updates give you fewer real choices... which sucks, because this could’ve been epic. Imagine watching the MC’s kids grow up, living out his whole life? That’s the scope this game could’ve had. Right now, the ceiling of this game is the Dev’s creativity. It’s holding up, but it could be so much better. My advice for Dev is to play AVNs like *Pale Carnations*, *Defending Lydia*, or *Karlsson Gambit*. Those games nail how to give meaningful choices without turning the story into a tangled web.

A game of dashed hopes. It starts off well, the plot isn't brilliant, but it gives hope for something good. We have a lot of choices from the start, small and unimportant – but it's nice that they exist. The graphics are decent, the girls are pretty, there's some nudity... so it's okay. UNFORTUNATELY – at a certain point in the story (not far off), this "freedom" is taken away from us, for no reason. Well, there is a reason – the game creator clearly decided they couldn't handle the work it would take to explore all the available branches. And that's where the game ends for me. Nothing pisses me off more than giving the player hope for something truly extraordinary (for games of this type) and then having it delivered in a truly poor way. When that happens, the game falls to the bottom of my rankings, and nothing – not even pretty graphics or a decent backstory – can improve its value. I'm really angry, and that weighs into the final score, but I don't give a damn, just like the game's creator doesn't give a damn about me as a player. I give it a 2/5 and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this game to people with their brains in the right place. It was supposed to be a 1/5, but the first few hours were decent, and for those "few hours," I'm giving it an inflated rating.

Just finished my first playthrough which is love path,Gotta say this is an amazing medieval themed AVN,The writing is believable for a porn game standard and there is a surprisingly good enough bangable variety of ladies.Hopefully the renders and backgrounds get better as the game progresses they currently lag behind i guess it must be with the tech the dev uses.Hope he gets the latest hardware like 5090 or something to maximize quality.Good going buddy.U are on the way to achieve greatness

One of the GOATs in the making. Choices feel like they matter, great world building, great characters, great art. The story is the kind of dynastic intrigue where if you don't know what critical thought is you better figure it out fast because some of these people (most of them) are trying to trick you. There's some AI gen stuff in there but it's actually used well and sparingly. I actively dislike incest themes and this game would make the Lannisters blush but it works nonetheless just because of how well developed the LIs are. The actual H-scenes are maybe a little short but, honestly, not even a problem worth dinging it half a star for. My only significant concern is the lack of a gallery and the existential fear that LM might get hit by a car before they finish it.

One of the best incest game out there, top tier in terms of right pace for developing mom son relation. Not like other blue ball milkers out there. The story is amazing and seems relaistic even though its based on fiction.

I played quite a few of the game son this website and I gotta say this game (v0.12 rn) is easily my favourite of them all. It stunningly achieves to grab your interest for its lore and characters from the start of the game and never gets stale by step for step revealing its lore secrets and expanding its worldbuilding scale. From time to time you get mysterious scenes shown via visions or dreams and if you find out later what they might mean, its very satisfying. Also great about this game is how well the focus on icestuous relationships and political sceming is implemented so that the world seems believable and your character seems to have some real agency, his decisions seem to matter and shape the world arround himself. You dont have to be Mr NiceGuy being lead by a string, no you can be cunning, violent and make some irrational choices or mistreat your companions or LIs from time to time. Its very well made and offers quite a bit of replayability rarely seen in such kind of games. I currently run 6 diferent playthroughs and regularily see scenes or changed dialogue in 1 of these which do not appear in all the others at all. Its really cool especially since there are definetly important lore drops which are only available due to you having picked certain choices and really help you to understand the story better, see it from another angle or flesh out the world. Lastly I want to say that this game offers the spicy scenes you want to see numerously. It manages to create some really hot scenes that you activly choose by sometimes even deciding aganst scenes with other characters which lead to some characters liking you more or sharing secrets with you while others might suffer or miss out. Its really well done and can be quite hot. It helps that all the LIs look really good and their respective personality leads to the spicy scenes playing out totally different considering who you take turns with. My favourite character is easily Cassandra since her hotheaded, cunning and (slightly) evilish character leads to quite interesting, unexpected and diverse devellopment of the plot. Also all her scenes are great and she has multiple possible death scenes as well as widely varrying plot paths depending on your choices. A bit sad that the plotline where you agree to collaborate on her scemes kinda lose out on the duality of choice between maledom and femdom that was there in the earlier part of the story and you basially only chose between fooling arround with her or not in the later part of the game. A bit similar to Elins scenes with lose a bit on the powerplay shown earlier in the corruption route and leads to both corruption as well as romance route feeling quite similar later in the game. I guess the many variables depending on your choices needed to be a bit more streamlined to offer a logical continuation no matter how you acted in the past so the LIs paths had to be not too different from each other in your taken route. All in all this game is quite special and has a great ammount of content rn but feels like there is much more to come. It is a content monster and you can really immerse yourself in this GOT-like world. Imop its worth to support the dev considering what you are offered already.

I have played this game first time when it was stil on early stages, 0.3 to be more precise. Since then, lot of things happened and now i think i will be able to talk a little more about the game. First things first, i will split this review in 2. First i will talk about technical aspects and then i will be into the story because i think this game deserves a little more the just a technical review. Technically speaking, this game is not even close to be perfect. But, as i do not think the developer ever had the intention of doing a master-piece in this aspect, i will not make a huge thing about this. The games lacks polishment , better angles , the characters models are not even close to be called unic (many were re-used by the author from his last VN), the audio part are simple terrible and, in my opinion, the game would be better if the dev simple ignored this part from the beggining (the sounds made by the mc when he cums is honestly hilarious), last part, but not less important, the game translation are horrendous . The translation may not look bad if you are not a native speaker (English is not my mother tongue too) but, if you have at least a medium level in the language, you will see how poorly made the translation really is. With all that said, i will not go so hard on the dev here, this dev work on really fast pace and of course many things would not go as well as others projects which have more then one developer and months (even years) to deliver a update. So, technically speaking, this games is a solid 3/5 . But, i would like to say that, i am only giving them this good will review because i known how the dev works and how fast he wants to deliver. Otherwise i would go for a 2/5 . There is far worse games out there with lots of developers who thinks great about themselves. Technical Aspects: 3/5 Now i will speak about the plot and the whole story. So, be alerted that from now on there will be spoilers . Nothing too big because i do not wish to spoil too much. Many parts of this section could be on the technical part but after thinking a litlle more, i thought it would be better if i judge them story wise. The game starts with a recap of not so recent events and make us choose three paths for the MC, whose is a half-elf, Elis. Theese paths are: Warrior , Mage and Bookworm (basically a nerd). As it would be expected, the game would differ in certain parts depending not only in your choices but also onto your ´´origin``, truth be told, it really works sometimes, especially in the beggining, but later on, the choice of trying to make such a ambitious game with lots of depth, and only one developer, comes for a payback. There are many times where you simple forgets about this whole mechanic and only remembers of it when you replay the game and are forced to make a choice beetween these 3 paths. Story wise, it has it fails, but i think it adds certain ´´life`` to the game when it comes to replayablity, but not that much too. After making a choice, the game starts to introduce you to some companions and of course the love interests. I will talk more about what i saw as being the main love interests. They are four to five: Elin , MC twin sister, whose has a crush on him since they are kids. She is also a skilled Mage. Cassandra , MC half sister, who is a competent fighter and a important political figure. Seraphina , mother of the twins and their sister , Lia . She is the Queen and, so as her daughter , a skilled mage and, of course, a political figure. Ophelia , MC younger sister, also sister to Elin and half sister to Cass . She is a avid reader and has a very weak health. Isidra / Aurora , depending on your choices, one of them are soon to be MC`s wife. They are very different from each other, with Isis being much more manipulative and political interested, with a little of sadism to her core. While Aurora are the typical innocent angel that cares only for her own life and family, having little to none interest in politics. With introductions made, i would like to start to talk a little about what i think it is the best parts of the story and its flaws. First of all, this game has two main focus when speaking about it theme, one of them being incest and the other one politic intrigues . I need to say how a much i love both themes, as a ASOIAF fan i could not say that i do not love a bit of family love and politic intrigue on a pseudo-mediaval-fantasy world. When the game starts it looks like you will be introduce to a court intrigue with some drama between the MC and his family members but, soon the game starts to have a big scope and the entire world starts to become alive. You feel immersed in the lore, the story, and wanna know more about this world and what will gone happen with the MC a his loved ones. There is even a little space for you to have you heart melted with a little of romance, if you is like me and have some soft spot for well writed romances. I would say this game is super ambitious and have done what few ever did, captured the players attention from more them simple Adult scene between family members. If you like fantasy and political intrigue, you will love this game. But, as everything, it has its flaws. Starting with the characters, if i could criticize the author onto something it would be on how much this games lose when he takes out urgency from his main core. Take Elin for example, she is by far one of the most important characters, yet since version 0.5 she is on a looping where she walks on circles, right now feels like she only exist to be MC LI and have sex with him, being with him is the only urgency she has, that is very bad for a character with lots of potential, even if there is a reason on lore for her to be like this, she should be more than she is. Queen is yet another character who becomes kinda boring with time, she goes from being a interesting character who has a political agenda, even if is not as ambitious as others, to a character who simple are going to accept whatever the MC does, even if it goes against what she thinks or against her own people. Cassandra can be one of the few characters that can be interesting from the beggining to 0.12, but even her can goes to certain paths where she starts to become just a sidechick to the MC. Another thing is the incest which is present in the game, in the very beggining the author tries to make something with drama that could comes from such ´´horrendous`` act, but, in my opinion, it is very weak and it is not even a real thing with mostly characters besides Elin , but even with her, the author fails to extract the full potential of it, by the 0.12, mostly just becomes something that you cannot really care and just looks like a trope that the dev brings back from time to time to create some drama, needless to say, it fails. It seems to me, that the dev do not realize that what makes a fantasy good it is not the power trip, or the plots twists or even the greats moments like battles or something like this, what makes it really good it is its characters , and how they act while being in such extreme situations. Of course, it still is a Adult Game so, people would expects a lot of hot scenes. But honestly, the best parts of this game is their lore and plots. I find really hard to believe someone would be here only for the S-scenes. All that leads me to the worst flaw of this game, it is how big it is becoming. The game is simple focusing to much on side characters instead of focusing on their main core. I understand tha this game is a power fantasy where the MC will become a gigachad with a gigantic harem, so them the players will say something like ´´ha, luck bastard`` or something like ´´i would love to be like him``. But, what makes this games truly special is its story not the power trip of its protagonist, should focus less on adult scenes, less onto sidegirls and more into the protagonist and its uniques characters. Plot/Story-Wise: 3/5. With all that said, this games real good thing is its lore, if you are looking into a gaming with a good plot and interesing characters, i would recomend you to give a try, you will not regret. If the dev ever look upon on this, continue your good work and, if i am allowed to ask for something, i beg you to focus in what your game have of more interesting and unique. The best rating would be a 3 , but i really like the game and considering how many terrible VNs there is out there, i will gave a 4 . But, deep in my heart it is a 5.

I played from start to end of update 0.12 in one go. 4.5/5 Good: 1- Best plot ever. Perfect medieval diplomacy simulator. Tons of meaningful, impactful choices. And I don't get all the whining about translation. There were a couple of he/she mixes, but that is it. This game should have been the plot of a AAA RPG game. Even the incest makes you feel like you are from the royal family of Game of Thrones. 2- Perfect music choices. 3- Very good renders. Really gives the feeling of being inside a medieval fantasy RPG. Bad: 1- Adult scenes are garbage. Contrary to what everybody says. Nope, they don't get better in the latest versions. Still garbage. I mean, there are 3-4 really good ones out of 121 scenes. But absolutely not worth the wait. I stopped trying to enjoy adult content and focused on the story completely. Did not regret it. 2- There is no walkthrough PDF beyond 0.5. 3- Unless you are using the famous Ren'Py mod, get ready to play 10 times to see all the content. Especially if you don't wanna play 3 times to see all intelligence/strength/mage choices.

Peak. The art was consistently good and I don't mind AI if it's not to obtrusive for narration purposes to pump out the product more efficiently. What suprised me is the story as it started off pretty generic - you have sex 30 seconds in - but from then on the LIs' thinking is more realistic and MC also grow instead of staying as an insufferable horny dude.

I'll start with what is the most important aspect in any ero game. 1) CHARACTERS - everyone is really really compelling from LIs to side characters, amazing designs too. Elin : my beloved twin sister that's sweet, cute & simply drop dead gorgeous (I mean that skin tight dress she had on & amazing appearance during the ballroom party, WOW). Love that she is outright jealous of you when you look at other girls & even when you get married, she wants you all to herself. Cassandra : the femme fatale psycho with a soft spot for you. she is mischievous, calculated, hot headed, decisive. really cool & sexy in the green route. more mellow & reformed on the white route. can't wait to marry her. (ONE MAJOR COMPLAINT I HAVE, I simply cannot understand why she's made to suffer so much, she gets brutalized in a lot of her scenes depending on choice, none of the other LIs suffer anywhere near as much, cass should be cherished & loved with daily mandatory kisses & handholding). Serafina : the quintessential MILF. she loves you as her son, but you love her more than just a mother. hilarity ensues. the back & forth you have going on with her for the guilt & lust she goes through as you fall deeper into depravity together is really well realized. of course she is not just your mother, but a key player to the elven cause, so that's another dynamic. Ophelia : the overgrown mischievous cat little sister. she is cute, she is cuddly & by God is she dangerous, maybe the most. she literally has sex with you while you're having a family dinner & manages to conceal the fact. I was beyond heartbroken to find out she suffers miscarriage when you cum in her (how could you do that to us dev T_T). Aurora : comely, sweet, innocent. perfect wife material. I have to say I really disagree with the choice of marrying off LIs to other characters. I understand why we cannot stop the 1st, but the 2nd we should absolutely have the option to void it, especially because the MC in version 0.12 is the second or third most powerful man in the entire kingdom. I hope dev will give the option to cancel the second marriage. side characters like Asher(special shoutout), Ludwig, Alaina, Cuckhart add loads of valuable interactions. 2) STORY - the best way to describe it is "came for the porn, stayed for the plot." you start off as the bottom feeder exiled prince living his days getting drunk on your favorite drink "Aran Gold" (you will hear this name a lot). upon hearing that your father, the king, has ended your exile you return to the castle, which can be described as a den of snakes. the game offers intrigue, lighthearted moments, deep introspection, and important lore. characters are not there to simply advance the story from one porn scene to the other but they have their own motivations, struggles, desires and so on. this makes your choices in the game all that more impactful because you have to consider how they will react to them. And these choices do matter, there is a major branching point where you either side with your sister to coup the king or go against her to preserve what is called the golden order. I have chosen to side with the king in my first playthrough & it unfolds quite epically. I will do a second playthrough where I side with sis and update my review. then we have the perks: you get to play as warrior , mage , bookworm (this really should have been named scholar or even sage to sound cool, because you're like a lame nerd so that makes many players like me not choose that, even though it seems to be a much more rewarding path than mage). I have not played warrior which I will do as second playthrough. I will now talk about the mage path. To put it nicely, it is very bad. this should have been the path that shows the most creative scenarios & presents the most unique solutions. and yet it is by far and large pointless. in over 20 hours of playthrough these are the only moments where being a mage was useful: blinding my sword teacher; peeping on my soon to be wife; killing a bandit who tries to rob me by dropping an axe in his foot, wrapping a magic lasso on a fleeing elf. And that's about it really. It is particularly underwhelming during the 2 major battles in the game. sister coup, western subjugation. in both of these battles YOU DO NOT USE A SINGLE SPELL IN COMBAT, INSTEAD YOU RUN AROUND WITH YOUR SWORD CUTTING DOWN ENEMIES! i mean this is simply a major letdown. what was the point of picking the mage path then?? I cannot speak about the future but so far the mage path sucks. I will finish it off with a positive as being a mage grants you access to portal shenanigans with elin who is one of my favorites, and enhances your romance plot with her. 3) THE SEX - in a porn game this matters a lot, and unfortunately it is its weakest aspect. THE BAD : as many others have complained, for the first 8 or so updates of the game, the animations look very stiff, the camerawork is atrocious often focusing on the mc's ass (don't get me wrong mc is handsome but I'm trying to look at female boobs&butts, not a man's), and the scenes are short, little variation. THE GOOD : character artstyle is really erotic, I have to give big props to the dev for making attractive humane girls not plastic sex dolls like you see in so many 3D games. later on sex scenes are longer, better animated and voiced. the dev has also started to implement AI animations which I support, so long as this is only done with foreplay, penetration sex scenes should be fully animated by the dev, as they look 100x better than AI. In particular I preferred the sex scenes with mother and lia, good animations, angles and sextalk while you are copulating. ejaculated to both of them. And this is just a personal desire, but I hope the dev considers anal sex scenes as characters like the queen mother and cass have voluptuous large butts, perfect to be stuffed by MC's big cock. This concludes my review, it is longer than I had hoped, but I had to talk about my complete experience. Overall, the game is superb, one of the best VNs I've played and I look forward to future updates. I mean you can literally have a son & choose a name for him. PEAK VIDEOGAME EXPERIENCE. Game is decent. However the translation barely works and doesn't translate a lot of stuff. The MC is also totally unbearable. Plus the H-scenes are terrible with 10fps animation and no lead up or talking before or after.

I give 5 stars. First of all, I think this is one of the best medieval-themed games. The most difficult part of making a medieval fantasy game is creating the world view and designing the map, and IC does a very good job in that regard . I didn't feel confused while playing; there was always a main storyline running through the game, and there were many characters. The character models and music are also satisfying . Most gratifyingly, the developer has maintained a reasonable update frequency .

In shortest term this game can be defined like that; If you're roamed site enough you did definitely come up with games which you first came for porn and stayed for story; this one here is pinnacle of that. Great Part: Our game is set in a classic fantasy medieval world, the kind you can find examples of in many famous works, even on this site. However, the depth of its story, the writing of its characters, and the handling of its themes are closer to a book in terms of quality than the works on this site and general adult content VNs, which, as you can imagine, is not something you see very often. By doing so game definitely shows how good writing and well thought story can end up being quite memorizeable as a adult vn. On a more personal note, the most compelling aspect of the game for me was the abundance and treatment of family themes. Although some key interests felt a little too simplistic, the way the remaining characters and themes are rooted in the past is a clever and logical narrative choice that enhances credibility. Well thing I talked about was the best and most shiny parts of this game, but If we came to more mediocre aspects of the game, I can definitely say that espicially first parts of game animation quality of H scenes and their angles, overal, arel not the best you can encounter. Even tho game does not suffer from variability of girls and themes those animation quality and overall scenes can be seen as a drawback for some. These are the points that caught my attention; this is one of the high-quality games on the site that doesn't have any major weaknesses. Its story is so memorable and engaging, and unlike many other games aviable with more sexually focussed settings , this is a successful work that truly lives up to the name "visual novel." more. There's a game in here, a great game even. But it's buried under mouintains of text, exposition and just generally storylines that go nowhere. If you trim 70% of the game it'll be a 5-star game, but as it stands...just too much text and useless exposition. Otherwise nice setup, nice characters, good scenes.

Amazing game. Please do more content. I would actually pay for this. The models are great. The pacing feels nice. The universe is COOL. Holy shit! I'm already into every character. I will check out the dev's other works for sure.
