I admire the creator’s willingness to keep coming back and updating this. I am for that reason going to try this again in the near future and give it another shot, completely willing and ready to give it at least another star. I honestly think this wouldn’t take much to improve immediately, it’s right on the edge of 4 stars for me, personally. It needs some fixes in terms of progression and making objectives so difficult to obtain with random tasks you literally could not know until you look it up with a guide or get lucky… For example: having to watch anal porn 3 times to get to masturbate with her ass, which btw comes from watching random non-anal porn enough times to unlock anal porn, and so on. Honestly I think this is the real reason this game is rated low. But for it to be 5 stars.. Let me put it as succinctly as I can: real porn is something I can get in a few clicks online. Instead of worrying about how to hook me on all the reasons why I am here that don’t involve fapping, just consider that is the foremost objective. So, if you tease me with twenty sexy-but-not-enough-to-push-me-over-the-edge gifs, so many (very hot) very sexy pictures, a few immersive but brief and intermittent actual sexual moments.. you gotta either time it up right so that the progression actual leads to a not-two-hour-long fap sesh; Or just do so much less (make it actually text-based) or so much more (like a flood of quality porn) sex opportunities that one could climax to, that you don’t ever have to worry if your users got the wrong impression of this game/sim. Despite these criticisms, it’s very immersive to me and somehow relatively enjoyable. This sim comes across as the right blend of realistic vs absurd (in almost a manga kinda way). The scenes are well chosen; The decision around pictures and gifs and who to feature was clearly thoughtful and therefore added to the immersion and hotness. The writing is quite good enough. And I just happened to like the characters. To me it has a simplicity to it that waiting behind a curtain of complexity, but some of that’s good. The blend of writing and porn I like (but going more in favor of one or the other could be a better strategy if you don’t want to take the time to work on progression rate). Spoiler: A precise, albeit lengthy, path to making this game gold-tier If you want my explicit method on how to make this thing a hit: remove a job, make more characters to fuck around with including many varieties of characteristics (like a fat guy, for example, or an older woman, etc). Having more characters mean more scenes, too. The one less job opportunity means less time spent writing a time consuming branch that doesn’t progress fast enough for anyone to care. Make a hotkey in the apartment to fast travel, and two hotkeys for ‘remove/add sleepwear’ and ‘wear last outfit’. Add ‘read a book’ and ‘open laptop’ to ‘hang out’ which can/should include ‘meditating’ (or just ‘open a guide’ ) that highlights what her next objectives could/should be (or if a guide, just opens a full spoiler-riddled guide page). Lastly, make her virginity more of the plot in terms of reasons for outercourse/anal/oral sex. While the writing quality is superb and a testament to a high bar often not aimed for by other games, it's severely hindered by it's complete lack of fun and the sheer frustration you experience in progression . Qiality of life does not exist. Game design does not exist. Hell even guides don't officially exist in any meaningful capacity. Tldr, if you have a lot and i mean a lot of time on your hands and want to try your hand at a game that would do well in an era of complete information quagmire then go ahead, the writing quality is truely good but for most modern audiences who expect an enjoyable experience then this most likely is not your ideal cup of tea.

v0.7.0: A pretty okay game as far as HTML games go. The dev makes a great use of the images they have chosen along with text that's pretty decently written. Unfortunately, the game does devolve into a grind fest pretty quickly. I could've just been playing it wrong, but it's hard to tell, as the built in tips page doesn't really give you and idea of what you should do next; most of the tips on the "Just For Tips" page just say "This hint is locked until you have completed another task." If you're into HTML/real porn games as I am, give it a try, it's probably one of the better html games. The dev still has some work to do however if they want to make it something great. I'll personally be following the game's development in the future.

Review is for v0.7.0 A pretty good game so far. Characters are all pretty normal, but that not a bad thing. Story is your typical 'Girl going out into the world and starting her life' story. A very minor complaint, I feel like the game is split into two 'worlds'. One is what goes on inside her home, and then another for everything outside her home. This isn't really a major issue, but it does make a lot of the content outside her home feel irrelevant. Another complaint is the journal system. I do like the design of it, but it needs more info. One example is that I need to talk to one of my roommates when he gets home from the club, but I don't know what day or what time that is. This wouldn't be such a big issue if it happened every night, but since it doesn't, it'll just lead to a week of grinding nothing to get the event to pop again. And as always with any game still in development, there needs to be more content. There's a lot of down time everyday, where you can just sit around watching TV.

This is a well written game with some excellent sex scenes. It doesn't take too long from the beginning of game play to get steamy, and the main character is well designed as someone who is inexperienced but actively looking to expand their sphere of activities. What holds this game back is two things: 1. The rate of various random events occurring that progress the story is really, really low. Want to have your job turn kinky? Well, the odds seem to be a couple percent. What this means is that you either scum for these events, or else you may not even realize that they're out there because the incidence rate is so slow that it might be fifty in-game days before the first event in a chain procs, and there might be several such events needed before you can move forward. 2. The game requires an incredible amount of pointless clicking to get through your average day. Thankfully there is a wardrobe system that lets you put on outfits, but unfortunately you still have to manually change clothes each time. This includes being required to change clothes to go to bed, and then change clothes again to wake up and go to work. In the average day cycle there's dozens of unnecessary clicks, which make the game more or less unplayable. The combination of those two things makes the game sadly not worth playing, even though there's good ideas and good writing.

Having played games like Girl Life, I enjoyed the routine stuff for a while and didn't find it too tedious. The writing is good and the jobs are fun for a while. But the content quickly runs out. Or rather, it becomes very hard to discover what there is available by simply playing the game. Following some kind of walkthrough is absolutely required to know at what time to message the right people, what actions to take etc etc. As others have noted, the in game hints are useless. It's frustrating because I know there's probably a ton of content I haven't found yet, but I've lost interest in trying to figure out what those things are. There isn't a lot of balancing either. Making enough money to pay rent etc is super easy, barely an inconvenience. And there isn't much to spend the money on. So that whole mechanic becomes rather pointless very fast. The sex system is pretty cool, as are the options to watch different kinds of porn to corrupt the MC. But I've only been able to have sex a couple of times lol. I think one of the guys you date is supposed to be repeatable but I don't know how to progress that.

After an hour without much progress i give up, this is the worst game of this type i've seen so far. To put it simply: - the grind is unreal - even cheating is a pain - there are basically no random events - the random events rate is so low that in an hour of walking back and forth from work I have seen only 3 random events on the way, they were all variation of the same event and they were equally dissapointing - progress is hilariously slow - in-game guide is almost useless with how slow the progress is Don't waste your time, this one is a failure.

Why play this game? Consistently curated imagery for a good storyline that shines once you learn how to find them. The theme (broke girl new in town) is strongly executed, while remaining realistic Mechanically similar to other SugarCube HTML games. There are a few systems involved that don't make themselves obvious. I would recommend taking time to read the code and understand the triggers in order to avoid grinding Active sex system is neat, but not present in all scenes Under the covers your character develops preferences based on what and who she consumes. I'm not sure how obvious this is, but it shows promise for future content

When I play any game HTML engine I want to not only read what the developer wrote in this game. Story, character development, etc. But I also want to see in these projects the real interest of the developer himself in his game. The game is similar to other games in this genre. There are choices in this game and they affect the plot and the ending. This is not a simple linear game where there is a main character and you have to corrupt him in order to move forward in the story. Yes, this game has a lot of similar content from many games. An example of the same LIFE CHOICES. Lots, lots, lots and lots of text in this game. It is interesting to read the first 5 minutes of the plot. GIFs, pictures are not annoying and have a normal size. Unlike the game FRIENDS OF MINE This game has its own charm, as they say, but it is very small, which does not attract the average player. I didn't like this game much. And judging by the reviews here, other people too. I think a century and an epoch HTML games long gone. It's not 2010 now.

Definitely what you should play if you want to get carpal tunnel syndrome. Honestly just feels like a bad life choices clone. Annoying as hell gameplay, each day you have to dress and undress for no reason at all. Grindy as hell to gain required stats and job scenes are boring and not sexy. Images used are also too random so you cannot enter into character at all. My advice is don't waste your time or try when completed if you enjoy painful grindfest gameplay.

I just spend half a day on this game, that's a good sign. Really High quality game. The only annoying thing is maybe the controls. There is little to no shortcut to change yourself or going directly to your bedroom, for example..

The positive: The main model is nice. The negative: Everything else. This is a typical “sandbox” grindfest - read a sexy book to lower inhibitions, masturbate to raise depravity, rinse and repeat ad nauseam. Hunt around 20+ screens until you’ll stumble upon the right combination of time, location and stats to unlock the next step, and begin stat grinding again. Check the hint system only to discover that most of them are outdated and have nothing to do with the current quests. There seem to be 4 or 5 love interests, but I’ve only managed to get the guy from the coffee shop.

Tried really hard to like this but its very average. The hints are terrible and the gameplay monotonous. Shame, has a makings of a good game. The UI is decent, the porn used better than most, but the gameplay and lack of places and content really let it down.

I finished playing some parts of it was wow exciting. I felt you need add more music into game like for phone and ring tones customize so you be creative. I liked it it felt unique girl's life, Heartbreak and finding that one quest. Finding your dude? Its perfect game like that I like for have Pregnancy perk and Room mate first time possible. @Surprise & Delight. Really enjoying this game. Excellent gameplay and system. I like that nothing is coerced and the payer is able to choose the paths they want and ignore others. The graphics are good and the sex scene system is excellent! The only reason I rated it as a 4 and not a 5 is that it's still being developed but it can only get better as proved by the last couple of updates with more content added etc. Looking forward to how the relationship with Cassidy can develop...

Great game, nice and steady progress. Allows for a solid number of choices and has a pretty good story going thus far. Its nice to see more games with a female MC. Storyline is pretty straight forward and you are allowed to pursue the routes that interest you.
