In the Sound of Silence is a Ren'Py visual novel by VisualNovels, presented with animated 3D CG art. As the player, you watch them with no way out and few tasks remaining, so their only focus becomes each other, and the question is whether love, desire, or fear will win. The current build is v0.3, dated December 21, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, Linux, and Android, in English, with no censorship. The latest changelog adds more than 300 high-definition 4K stills, nine animated sequences at 30 FPS, 377 dialogue entries, English subtitles, suggestive audio and moaning, and options to set names and relationships. Earlier v0.1 offered over 90 4K images, one 30 FPS animation, English subtitles, name and relationship choices, and an eight-minute duration.
