Drive to Nowhere is an adult road-trip visual novel made with Ren'Py by VisualNovels. You follow a mother and her adult son after she leaves her husband with almost nothing, drifting between towns while poverty forces difficult choices. The story tests their relationship as they look for shelter, food, and a path ahead. It uses animated 3DCG visuals and a dark setting, with mobile support as part of the presentation.
The current build is v2.0, released March 11, 2026, so development is finished. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, uncensored. The latest update added more than 1,300 high-resolution 4K stills, over fifty animated scenes, 1,657 lines of dialogue, audio design, adult vocal effects, player-chosen names and relationship settings, period-style dark environments, and AI-assisted editing.

After a bitter fallout with her husband, a mother takes her adult son and leaves home with nothing but a half-tank of gas and the clothes on their backs. With no plan, little money, and nowhere to go, they begin a journey into the unknown — one filled with tough choices, moral crossroads, and the unrelenting pressure of poverty. As they drift from town to town in search of shelter, food, and a way to survive, offers begin to appear — some honest, some dangerous, and others deeply compromising. The bond between mother and son is tested as they navigate a world that doesn’t care if they break. Will they find a way forward without losing who they are? Or will the road change them forever?
