Drive to Nowhere

Okay, I have to review this. I've already played another game from this developer, which also escalated very quickly. This one is definitely better. Although I'd gladly give it 4.5 stars, like before. But if I have to choose between 4 or 5 stars for this one, it's unfortunately closer to 4, and there are reasons for that. What I like is that they've actually invested more in the world-building, and the story, paired with the music, creates something bizarre in a good way. If you let yourself get into it, it works. It's like a drug trip; the story is serious at times and then veers from one improbable twist to the next. This narrative style is honestly very refreshing. The characters look believable, with realistic bodies and appearances. One of this developer's strengths. Up to this point, it sounds like a must-play game. Yes and no. The bizarre scenes lead to characters who completely degenerate from the actually interesting Son-Mother dynamic, ranging from lolis to black grandmas. Anyone who whines like a little bitch about lolis... Sure, rape and fucking your own mother is okay, but that's where we draw the line. Back to the topic: while it's not the end of the world, it does somewhat disrupt the halfway believable story that was built up beforehand. Spoiler: Twist The twist at the end saved the story because everything after the hotel was a dream/nightmare. I can understand that the earlier part is off-putting. The ending, however, was great. The use of AI wasn't that bad either; the people who complain wouldn't be able to do anything right even with AI. So, if you're looking for something trippy for a change of pace, you should definitely check this out. For all the whiners, just stay away and don't bombard it with unjustified review bombing. Dont really like the loli aspect, would have appreciated a tag to let people know it's there, theres no AI tag either. The game tricks you into thinking there are multiple paths but there aren't . Fairly short game would have liked more . The mom and son scenes are good didn't care for any of the other ones felt like they were just thrown in because "why not". Decent overall doesn't drag on like most of these VN's tend to, would rate it higher if not for the aformentioned loli stuff.

This game is just a mess of ideas, awful ai implementation, huge amount of misprints and bad story. I didn't understand what they wanna tell in this game. Just to show how LLMs make awful animations.

Holy crap, this game (mostly visual novel) is fantastic! Surreal, sexy, not afraid to get down and dirty into slightly squeeky topics, leaves you really wanting to figure out what is happening in the story, unique-feeling characters... yea, I'm totally invested. And one of those that I'll try to support by buying it every few updates (just 'cause not in a position to pay monthly / every time). But wanna support it as best I can. [EDIT] Cutting back 1 star because the ending is... won't spoil it, but... Remember game of thrones and how happy you would have been if you'd stopped watching at season 6? Well, when they run away from the house where she was a maid, and they get in the car, just stop. Smile to yourself, it was a good game, put a sticky note on your monitor saying 'the end', and move on. You'll leave the game happy.

I'm not sure what to make of this one, but I can't say I enjoyed it. There are quite a few advertisements throughout this game for other patreon artists. On one hand, I love to see artists supporting each other. On the other hand, it was an immersion-killer every time I saw an ad. I'm also not sure how I'm supposed to feel about the tone of the game. It's dark and dirty, by all meanings of the words. The story follows the sad, nomadic life of the MC and his mother and deals with the forced prostitution and reluctant sex of multiple characters in run-down dumps. At one point, I could practically smell the BO and cigarettes through my computer even as my character's lust meter went up. The sex scenes are graphic in a way that makes it feels like they're meant to be read as smut, but all I felt was sad and dirty. Still, even though I didn't like it, I admire that Drive to Nowhere feels like it's reaching for art, at least as much as it's reaching for entertainment. It's not afraid to take chances and follow an unconventional vision. While I didn't enjoy this particular vision, I love to see projects like this being pursued.

And to me it will be just sexy to see her pushing the boundaries more and more and for us to witness all the twisted fantasies hiding inside her mind, eventually come true. I love this VN. The main characters look unique and for a nice change the mum looks like a mum and not an older sister! Admittedly she looks a bit grubby at present but I'm sure she will scrub up well. Even so, I find her sexy as hell! Love to see an animated scene where she asks son to give her nether region a bit of a tidy up with a razor and then eat her for lunch as a reward! Perfectly named AVN! A young male who could be 15 or 25, a hippie Mom who is horny for him, and weird-ass goings-on along the road, with some deliberately ultra-ugly humans to boot. Add a poorly made "recipe" puzzle out of nowhere to make you feel totally foolish and stops the action dead, and you've got -- something? But not a very good AVN. . Good renders. Dark lighting, but other than that - meh. And I'm giving it a 2 because there are a suspicious amount of 5's that are either plants or retards.

Since I played it the first time I was impressed. A well-told story, with a realistic plot, slow but not boring, drama, good graphics, it has everything to be of exceptional class. Keep doing as well as you are doing so far. Good luck with your project

I'm a little puzzled at the good reviews for this game, especially those that complement the plotting. This game is a narrative mess. There does not appear to be any real justification for why they are fleeing, other than "just because." The father is mentioned but nothing so serious that would require them to flee. Events move forward randomely, with out any real explanation. One minute they're in a city and the next they're stuck on the side of the road, then taken to a three building village without explanation why. Furthermore, there is no real reason Victor would need to "blackmail" them later in the game. The mom is clearly on board working for him, and their lack of money should make it unecessary, so that aspect just felt puzzling. It's also odd that the "gay desires" path requires higher dominance . . . huh? It makes no sense in the context of the game. You shouldn't need such a careful walkthrough explanation for that path. The game definately has a "weird" vibe that may appeal to many, but it is fairly incoherent. There's a lot of potential here, which is why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, but it needs a lot of work to get back on track.

It looks great, the plot is solid, and the subtle details scattered throughout really create a wonderful atmosphere. This is another good piece of work, and I look forward to seeing more "in-depth" development.

Story jumps around a lot, player choices are unclear in consequence (some making no sense) and lead to forced content. Not a lot of content so far, maybe 15 minutes, yet its over 3.5 gigs somehow. Pacing is too quick. But the bits and pieces could turn into a solid game, will need a lot of work and fixing.

Story dident to much for me, its more weird then anything else. You have MC and hes mother living together and for idiotic reasons shes also there when you fuck people which will never make any sense to me, atleast ask her to get out of the fucking room. Which leads me to forced sex scenes, your pretty much forced to be a pornstar, you got 0 choices in that and who you fuck is just based on lust points nothing else. And thats another issue that the forced sex scenes has nothing to do with story and add nothing to the game, its just there because of who knows what, feels like its rushed and its just added to purely to have a sex scene, or like someone else said just to be able to use the tags, i dunno its just a weird game, which reminds me of the werd random futa scene that came out of the blue? i was just thinking "wtf is going on" The animations are below average by quite a bit and cam views are pretty much shit. Theres a few girls i could like but the main girl or woman i should say with her ugly saggy tits would never be a LI i would go after. I dont really see how anyone in their right mind can vote this 5 stars, that means it would be around the same level as the very top games which makes absolutly 0 sense to me.

The game is not bad, but it has one flaw. The problem is choice, or rather, the lack thereof. I play to see all the content, but the plot of these games doesn't allow me to enjoy all the scenes, forcing me to choose between them. The game concept is interesting, the scenes are good, even if not always complete, but there's a ton of pointless content that leads me to make the "wrong" choice, for some unknown reason. Lolis, MILFs, shotas—we want to experience them all through the scenes the game offers, and for that, we're grateful to the authors for their work. We don't come here to guess whether a good scene will happen or not, and certainly not to skip through a ton of pointless conversations from the main character about nothing in particular. Why do I need that? Why does the author need that? What's the point?
