About Isolation Project
Grubb Raines created Isolation Project, a comical adult visual novel made with Ren'Py and 3DCG art. You play a male protagonist who signs up for a clinical research trial after a shady government organisation offers extra credit, while catastrophic weather has fractured the world and made college grades matter more. Set on a remote island cut off from outside society, the story follows survival challenges with humor, adventure, and sandbox elements.
The current build is v0.5.1, released July 28, 2024, with development still ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, is in English, and is uncensored. The update adds more backstory between Erin and the protagonist, new outfits, fishing, and about 1.5 hours of gameplay. It also includes over 550 images, twelve music tracks, 21 updated environment animations, ten action animations including one animated adult scene, and an improved Android port.

After a series of catastrophic weather events have fractured the world, humanity is struggling to cope. The economic impact of decimated industries and mass migration have made good grades coming out of college all the more important. So when you learn that a shady government organisation is offering extra credit to participants of a clinical research trial, signing up is a no-brainer, right? Spoiler Set on a remote island and cut off from the outside world, Isolation Project is a comical Adult Visual Novel about some of the challenges and adventures that come with island survival. Will you rise to the occasion and overcome adversity? Or will you succumb to depravi the elements?
