About Kings and Pawns

Kings and Pawns is an adult visual novel created by ArchMoe in Ren'Py. You play a young man whose life has been shaped by loss, family estrangement, and addiction. He wants a quiet, ordinary future, but his history keeps pulling him back into complicated situations. The game uses 3D CG artwork and a story-driven presentation, with humor and romance among its adult themes.

Version 0.3.5 was released on December 2, 2024, and the project remains in active development. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, with no censorship. The latest update for this build also added 446 new renders, five new animations made from more than 200 renders, six bonus gallery images, and one bonus gallery scene for players.

Developer's description

The story follows a young man who has gone through a series of difficult experiences that have changed his life in an unpleasant way. He has survived the loss of his parents and the alienation of loved ones, as well as drug addiction. The MC struggles to deal with the mistakes of his past and wants to lead an ordinary, boring adult life. But fate has other plans. His past will not let him go so easily.
