Kingsguard begins on the continent of Torvair,
a large island divided by three nations. In the bustling city of Havena,
a young prince trapped in his own castle by his distant father soon,
learns that his sheltered and peaceful life is not long to last.
With the assistance of those known as Kingsguard, s
elected individuals to serve as the bodyguards of the royal family,
he flees his home to escape those who would wish to end his life and,
is forced to travel this unknown world that he has only ever read about in books.
His journey will be dark, grim, and full of despair,
not at all like the fanciful heroes in shining armor roaming the land atop a gallant steed,
to rescue damsels from the terrors of the night.
No that is best left for tall tales and bedtime stories to ease children to sleep.
This is no dream come true nor an adventure anyone would wish for.
But it is one that he has no choice but to see it through to the end.

Like someone before me said this is like a book in first person perspective. It reminds me of the young me who loved to crash at the library after school and read fiction books and get lost in those worlds during the harsh winters. Only this game provides me the same type of experience with much more added.

This game rly takes some time before it catches you and don't let you go anymore. I mean its not boring or something like that. But even the "initiation" at the beginning took me some hours. (maybe someone with english as first language would be a bit faster...) It's like a real book in first-person perspective, were you can choose your own path. It becomes more interesting with every "page" you read. But after some hours you cant stop reading anymore... I am normaly not this emotional, but this game even made my eyes water some times... If you like a good story (not a LotR-Good but still entertaining) with some gay content later on, you are damn right here. If you are looking 4 a quick jerk of, you are some kind of wrong. +rly good and fitting soundtrack +good Story +suitable animations and soundeffekts -the Story rly takes some time -the music for the explizit stuff could be right out if a cheap softporn-movie But over all it's to entertaining 2 give just 4 Stars... edit: playing the koshiro-part and omg its so f... thrilling... I cant... omg just OMG
