KOTAMON: My Sis Found A Super-Rare Card In Her Cereal Box, So I Became A Garbage Man To Find The Entire Collection

The production values on this piece of software are incredible, easily one of the slickest looking files you can download on this forum. Not actually a game, mind you. You hold down the left mouse button hoovering up piles of junk and occasionally the game shows you a pinup of a catgirl... that's it. If there was even a crumb of entertainment to be had I'd file this away with the other lewd non-sexual games on here but it's unrelentingly boring. A joke, at your expense.

As others have said, the upgrades are terrible, the progression is terrible, its really just quite poorly made, which is honestly really surprising because this is arguably one of the easiest kinds of games to pace and make. There are so many of these incremental games out there, and somehow this game manages to make it the slog of all slogs. That being said its cute, the art is nice, I like the concept and if it was just optimized and rebalanced I think it'd be a real gem, hopefully that'll just happen sooner rather than later.

The upgrades barely do anything. It'd be a nice fun little cozy game if it wasn't so dreary to progress. It's so simple. There's almost nothing to it. It'd be nice if the cards did anything if you collected them and if they weren't next to worthless, but I guess that'd take some extra thought. On steam, it's highly recommended, and the "recommended" reviews are from people on high horses defending it like it's their child. I wouldn't waste my time unless you're very easily impressed/entertained.

Played it for a few hours. I give it 3/5. It's not bad for what it is. There's not really any sexual content beyond some eye-candy. Gameplay is fine . But it could be much better. The upgrade system needs buffed. Terribly. If you doubled the bonus of each upgrade, it might actually feel worth it to upgrade. Clearing the whole lot of garbage should reward you with something special. It doesn't, just drops a new load of garbage. The visuals are nice, and styled. They're pulling art from their community which is really cool. If you just want to burn some time doing some mindnumbing task, this game is perfect for you.

Solid game, a fun little time sink if you really like collecting things and progressive upgrades. Has some tasteful art for the cards, no actual sexual content, however the devs have mentioned a potential 18+ dlc later on with some spicy art so we have that to look forward to. Overall would recommend playing the game just for the fun of it.

So this game is kinda exactly what you see: You pick up trash from giant piles, sell it, get upgrades, and sometimes find cards, then clean them. This formula is fine, but it's the implementation of two of them that bother me. Firstly, the upgrades. The types themselves are fine, but it's such a grind to get them due to the crazy (and crazy scaling) prices of them, which don't match the benefit you get. I feel like this would be a great place to tie in the cards, having them provide unique bonuses or something, but that's not the case; the cards are purely just to look at or sell. The other issue is cleaning. On paper, this should be a fun minigame or something with any amount of depth to it, but it's quite literally moving you mouse to uncover the card. For gluing, there's at least a little jigsaw for it. This, to me, is the biggest issue, I feel like this game could really benefit from adding on to this. Despite these issues though, it still gets this rating because at the end of the day, this is just a little game and it's not really trying to be anything more than that. The art is good, the game is generally kind of charming, and it's pretty fun if you like this type of game, albeit not for as long as you might want. Also no NSFW at the moment, just lewd.

No sexual content yet (an 18+ dlc is coming by the end of the year according to the devs patreon) but this game is pretty fun regardless of that. If your into job simulators this will be right up your alley.
