[Ch.3 beta] Writing: ⠀⠀⠀The game's title is "Logan's NETORI story", so you might think that the main focus is protagonist cucking someone, right? Well, not really. It's all about the insufferable narcissist manipulating women into bed to further boost his ego as well as his social media popularity, apparently all because some SNCA college trauma. Look, protagonist doesn't have to be the "good guy", but he at least has to be somewhat appealing, which he isn't here, not yet at least. His only redeeming quality is that he kinda cares about his lesbian friend, but this plot-line is not yet explored at the moment. The writing in both the dialogue and MC's narration feels like a bad parody and none of the characters are particularly likeable. The way they talk makes me either cringe in pain or sleep of boredom, this is not how human beings communicate. Some lines are way too corny: "She's not just sucking me off. She's painting a masterpiece with her mouth" , "Most men play checkers, I play chess - naked" , bruh, are you trying to make me piss myself laughing at this shit or what? One of the plot points is that Amber, who is MC's best friend, is being upset about her recent girlfriend using her for own gains and then dumping her, but is was Amber herself who was trying to pick her up for what looked like a casual hookup, so I just don't understand why she's so angry about being ditched? It all seemed like a bad setup to force MC to conquer her for pity revenge. During the first photoshoot with Monica some lines are repeated, e.g. "Good. Because I don't tone it down." - 2x, "You'll get what you came for, then" -2x, and some other. Two different versions of the dialogue with angry neighbor play back to back, it's like the writer forgot to scratch one of them for public release. Did anyone even bother proof-reading? Visuals: ⠀⠀⠀MC tells the girl models to tweak their pose multiple times, but the whole scene is just one static picture. And it's just the first instance of that, the VN frequently features scenes where the visuals do not match description. Image quality control is also pretty poor. At the cafe she's supposed to have panties on, but during the fingering they just disappear, then reappear again the next frame. At Lucy photoshoot her shorts appear torn for a couple of frames for some reason, she also got some weird marks on her face. MC's naked muscular torso and his perpetually mogging face take more screen time than the girs themselves, are you sure this is a heterosexual game? His imagery lacks consistency too. He usually looks feminine when clothed, but all buff and manly when naked. Sometimes he's clean shaven, sometimes he's got a stubble. Choices: ⠀⠀⠀There is a simple binary choice system where there is a clear "wrong" and "right" choices. If you go for the latter, then you get to experience the content as it was intended, but if you choose the former, you get no lewds, no bitches and why are you even here, just to suffer? I strongly dislike these kind of choices because they add nothing of value, but rather just an illusion of interactivity. They also halt your progress to consult with the stat tracker to make sure you choose correctly. Erotic content: ⠀⠀⠀Static CG sex scenes with poorly mixed sound effects, some of which sound pretty bizarre. There is exactly one animation and it's not good. Scenes are fairly short and all things considered are mediocre at best.
