Lovecraft Locker: Tentacle Lust/Breach

This is basically what I wish tentacle locker 2 became. An actual game with some progression type mechanics or strategy to it. Capture girls but be secretive about it and level up to gain ability points in order to infect more lockers, unlocked condemned ones, or set up a safety net with brain washing fog. Unfortunately the game is far from perfect. The point system is there for free play which is nice on paper but it seems you're expected to grind excessively so in this game due to the fact that you need thousands of points to unlock every single individual piece. Each individual hair style, each position, each position on the boobs separately. Add in the "cosplay" characters and you'll need several thousands more. The gameplay is simple but leave's more to be desired. It's relatively slow going and could be sped up with some quality of life adjustments. Since the lockers progress without you viewing the scene but time stops when you're viewing it the game is kind of designed for you to speed up scenes manually so you can release the girl when the opportunity is there so you don't raise suspicion. However because it's a pleasure based system that means you have to mash the button to increase the bar when you could easily be given a climax button or something to skip the song and dance, plus the cum animation could be shortened drastically. It's basically like 10 seconds of the animation slowing down through 4 phases of speed until the girl is finally ejected from the locker and you can continue. Despite the game being considered 1.0 it still has it's fair share of bugs and frustrations. Sometimes the game just crashes for no real explicit reason that I can only assume is because of the engine, Godot. Sometimes the game will just eat your input and even though you tried to capture a girl the locker just doesnt open followed by another locker you moved to in order to try again. There's a really annoying bug where a moan just plays on loop nonstop until you interact with a locker and view the scene.

Gameplay doesnt expand as you progress, infact it might actually decrease. On the first level you get a few lockers so you can try plan runners if they spot you and gives you something to do when a locker is full. If you don't have skill points at the ready when moving to 2nd level then you will literally just have to sit there as your one singular locker is full and you got literally nothing you can do about it. even worse is that since there doesn't seem to be a manual release method RNG will just ruin the small gameplay there is in trying to remain stealthy.

[v1.1.97] grindy- does not give a satisfactory amount of skill points to progress at a decent pace, tedious- spam button to progress scene, crashed- random crash, making the whole unsatisfactory experience not worth it

The art is decent and the sample scenes provided look nice enough but it crashed 3 times while playing so can't recommend it. My enter key is also busted so I was unable to view what was going on inside the lockers. If anyone has a way to transfer a completed save I'd be grateful.

It's a better Tentacle Locker than Tentacle Locker. Adds a healthy layer of gameplay complexity, quality animation generation and diversity, and just hits that sweet spot on style. Hopefully sees continued updates for the tentacle variety and story expansion; thankfully Strange Girl Studios is relatively active and responsive.

the tl:dr for the 2* is right here: the gameplay is boring and pretty much always the same. theres pretty much no variety and youve basically seen the entire game within 15 seconds of playing. the gameplay itself occupies you so you cant even really watch the sex scenes (while opening a sex scene pauses the game, it just kinda isnt worth it) all girls sound the same the animations barely differ (basically always a tentacle up one of her holes) the girls also look very similar, basically hair color is the only difference. this had potencial but theres just no variety and its really boring.

It is very good and interesting. Fun to play and challenging to some point. Story is simple but can add much more later on. Some of the mechanics do feel repetitive at some point. Animations are good but could be better Audio can be bebetter if had multiple and not the same audio. Rewards for making challenges like gating 10 teachers, or 50 students, etc would be perfect.
