About Mandatory Mentor

Mandatory Mentor is an adult Ren'Py simulator by Kana, using animated 3D CG visuals. You play as a tutor assigned to Reina, a spoiled student who must pass the University of Tokyo entrance exam in seven days. To remove distractions, the two are sent to a deserted tropical island, where failure would leave them stuck there and success would return them to civilization.

The current build is v1.1.2, released December 10, 2025, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, with English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and French language options. The game is uncensored. The latest changelog reports bug fixes and quality-of-life updates: it addresses a Survival Mode unlock problem tied to quickloading or save scumming, improves auto-resize UI scaling on Android for Japanese and Chinese, adds a submenu for the Paddle of Origins cheat function, and refreshes Chinese text for Mini-DLC Pack #1.

Mandatory Mentor thrusts you into the high-stakes role of tutoring Reina—a hopeless, spoiled, and bratty student who only has seven days to study for and ace the University of Tokyo entrance exam. To eliminate distractions, you and Reina are forcibly exiled to a deserted tropical island to focus entirely on her studies. Failure means the island becomes your permanent home —where coconuts and ramen are your only companions. Success? A one-way ticket back to civilization.
