About Master Rune

Master Rune is a Ren'Py dating sim by LizardsFromSpace, presented with 3D rendered visuals. You play as Rune. After his master dies, a power vacuum spreads across the world, and he travels to Japan to study at the elite Saisu Academy of Magic. There, he meets classmates, assists them through personal troubles, confronts dark mysteries, and may develop romantic feelings. The story blends fantasy and school life.

The current build is version 0.3, released on July 20, 2022, and development continues. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog says v0.3 added roughly six to seven hundred images and tens of thousands of words, while the creator notes that exact counts are hard to track.

Developer's description

While forces the world over scramble to fill the power vacuum left in the wake of his master's death, Rune travels to Japan to attend the prestigious Saisu Academy of Magic. There, he'll make new friends, help them with their problems, stare into the abyss , and maybe even fall in love.

In it's early stages but what is presently there is thoroughly enjoyable. Particular props for the super charming humor and writing. The entire Yui sequence had me unnerved, then breakdown laughing, then heart-warmed all in short order.
