About Money Troubles

Money Troubles, made by MoneyT_Dev in Ren'Py, is an adult sandbox game about a married couple facing a month-long financial crisis. You play as the husband after losing your job, while your wife shares the pressure as the mortgage nears and savings shrink. The gameplay focuses on exploring Ravenhill, finding new places and opportunities, meeting different characters, and choosing how the couple responds to their worsening situation. It uses 2D animated CG art and includes adult themes such as cheating and corruption.

The current build is v0.1, released on September 19, 2026 as an initial public release, so development is ongoing and the game is not finished. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, and is available in English without censorship. The latest changelog records the first public version.

Money Troubles is an adult sandbox game built around exploration, time management, financial pressure, and player choice. Explore Ravenhill, discover new locations and opportunities, meet different characters, and decide how you and your wife will deal with an increasingly desperate situation. How far things go is up to you...until it isn't.
