About Monsterlay

Monsterlay is an adult visual novel in a dark fantasy setting, made by Monsterlay and built with the Others engine, using 2D AI CG art. You play as a male protagonist confronting monsters, choosing between fighting for victory or making a shameless request. Encounters reveal reactions and stories through choices, while short attack and defense minigames shape battles. Unlocked illustrated scenes can be revisited in a gallery.

Development is ongoing. The free demo at v3.2.0 appeared on October 2, 2026 for Windows, with English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language support and no censorship. It includes 19 playable characters, while the Patreon edition has 35. The update expands galleries with 10 to 30 images per character, adds Magical Girl Lumina and Mantis Saki to Patreon, and brings new exploration events, including Wombmaw Mora's in the demo.

Will you fight on for victory, or make a shameless request? Meet a variety of characters and discover their reactions and stories through the choices you make. MONSTERLAY is an adult dark fantasy visual novel for Windows. Battle through short attack and defense minigames, and collect the illustrated scenes you unlock during encounters to revisit in the gallery whenever you like. This free demo includes 19 playable characters. No Patreon membership is required. Spoiler: More about MONSTERLAY Supported languages: English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese. The current free version includes 19 playable characters. Each character comes with over 50 CG images. For most characters, we aim to provide around 20 scripted scenes and approximately 800 lines of dialogue and narration. The Patreon edition includes 35 playable characters. We release 1–2 updates and add at least 4 new characters each month.
