My Girlfriend and My Nightmare is an adult dating sim made by Jester in Ren'Py, with 2D CG art. You play Alan, a man stuck in a poor job, whose childhood friend Nala unexpectedly moves in for unclear reasons. His days are complicated by memories of his ex-girlfriend Clara, whose death continues to haunt him. The story asks whether he can build a future with Nala or stay trapped by the past. It uses humor and romance.
The current build is v0.6.31, dated August 31, 2026, and development appears ongoing. It is available in English, Portuguese, and Spanish, uncensored. The latest changelog for v0.6.30 adds main story content and events, the first animated scene, a new extra task with intimate scenes, and a Professional Lockpick Kit. Lockpicking now needs three successes instead of ten with that kit. The update also completes all three Blackjack hallucination scenes, including the final one, adds two gallery scenes to finish the second gallery page, introduces a Secret Desire exclusive cheat code, improves the cheat code screen, expands dialogues and character interactions, and fixes bugs.
