Next Door Neighbors is a visual novel by noodle, built with Ren'Py and presented with 2D CG artwork. You play as a young man whose home has burned down, so he begins again in an unfamiliar city. The story centers on meeting a varied group of neighbors and learning their personal situations. The game combines point-and-click navigation with management and sandbox-style play, letting you choose how to interact with the characters and the city around you.
The current build is version 1.0, released on August 16, 2023 as the initial release. It is not marked as finished or a demo, so development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is available in English, and is uncensored. The latest update added the initial release.
