Nine Lives of Yoki is a thrilling Furry 2D adventure RPG game animated in pixel art style with NSFW elements. You will be immersed in a world where every corner hides secrets and challenges. Your character is Yoki, the possessor of nine lives, that sets out to explore the mysterious places of the Tail Valley. Gameplay of NLY (Nine Lives of Yoki) In each level, there will be scattered pink lily flowers in varying quantities. After collecting a minimum number of flowers, the player will need to find the altar (a fox statue) and make an offering; only then will the level be considered complete. [Not included in the beta version] The more flowers the player brings to the altar, the more "bonuses" they will receive, which are necessary for character progression, i.e., for Yoki.

Played version 0.8.7 I'm so disappointed by this game, the pixel art is beautiful but the controls are so stiff and feels terrible, I couldn't bother playing more than thirty minutes... Attacks feel slow and don't have much reach. There's a slight delay and there's no animation cancel, so you can't quickly roll or use the shield (which by the way both have an annoying cooldown that they seem to share so you either dodge or block but not one then the other when attacked by multiple enemies...) leaving you stuck in the attack animations. Fire attack is unreliable, I have no idea how it recharge and it sometimes does bigger or smaller fireballs without explanations. I thought it was holding the button or it was linked to how much "magic" you've got, but I couldn't tell... There is also a bar that fills up under the health but I don't know what it's for and it empties super quick. The shield's cooldown is too long to let us react to enemies like the green slimes' attacks. Walljump is janky as hell. To walljump you have to jump then press jump a second time against a wall to stick to it momentarily (when it want to work) then wait (without inputting any directions otherwise it doesn't work) for your character to extend her arm then release to jump (again, when it want to work...). There's bottomless pits everywhere and falling restart the whole level! Worse is some bottomless pits are right under walljump sections! We're in 2026, you don't need to make your game unnecessarily frustrating! Especially if it's a NSFW game! It's sometimes hard to distinguish background / scenery elements to platforms and harmful things (like the pink crystal spikes when the levels are already full of crystals and pink stuff everywhere...). Kinda boring music and no sfx at all. For the NSFW part, like others have said: Its more cute than hot. It's a bit annoying that the animations are slow and you can't skip them. Sometimes you can interact with downed ennemies, sometimes you can't but you never know why. The game is still rather new and made by a small 3 persons team. For the moment the highlight is the artstyle and I believe the gameplay will definitely improve since the devs seems to be listening to feedback and are working on things. Maybe in a year or two, it will be great. But for now... ------------------------------ Porn: 3/10 Gameplay: 1/10 Story: N/A Overall: 2/10 ------------------------------

This game is terrible. There's no aerial combat, no auto-escape after hanging down the ladder, and the controls are too difficult to master. Even playing all three Dark Souls games was easier than this damn game. If this isn't fixed in future installments, it'll be nothing more than Dark Souls getting harder.

Alright, this game is Downright Beautiful. The background, the atmosphere, the the scene, the character design, its simply stunning. That is currently the primary thing going for this game. Hell, if everything managed to be as good as the art is, this would be one of the best platformers ever made. However, the other mechanics, while not bad, are just a little lacking. The platforming is slow, as you have to grab the wall, then click the other direction and jump, and repeat. As well, the combat is... okay? Fairly simple, block and hit, nothing else really. Bottom line is, gameplay isn't bad, but not particularly good either. What were all really here for though, is the porn. Which is... also just kind of okay right now. Its more cute than hot, I would argue. But lets be honest the porn itself is entirely subjective. What I can say, is that while the animation shows a lot of promise, Yoki herself doesn't seem to show a lot of personality. Perhaps this could also be solved by adding sound, though? It's also just really lacking in quantity, of course. Bottom line is, though, almost everything I've mentioned so far is a small issue, a nitpick! For a game still in beta! And despite being in beta, it is extremely close to 5 stars. The foundation is impeccable, the gameplay really just needs polish, and the animations? Well, we'll get more later. It's absolutely a game to keep an eye on, at the very least.

Okay, this game could be great but let's start with the worst part. You can't even reconfigure the buttons. Unless I'm missing something. The choices made for this configuration is just dumb and counter-intuitive. Not to mention trying to use the arrows is pointless when you have to hold "S" to go down. Why not just make the down arrow and S interchangeable? The wall jumping is a cool idea but also tedious. Maybe allow her to perform a combo instead of little swings. This game looks great, but plays like poo. Here's hoping it gets the proper feedback and tweaking it deserves. Cause it does look really nice. I'm just not gonna play through it til things have been changed.

This must be one of the worst games I've tried in terms of controls... Having to cross your index and middle finger in order to move forward and attack at the same time is insane. There is no explanation as to what to do or how to fight. Art is OK though. [EDIT] tried latest version, still terrible. The combat is still borin as all hell, your enemies attack you a lot faster than you can hit them and from farther. No fun to be had here.

First of all, the protagonist is very cute, and I'm not all that in to furry business. The mechanics are smooth thus far, sprite animations are very nice even if it is currently limited due to it's recent release/continuing development. Music is peaceful & adds to the game -- I feel like it's not often I enjoy OSTs of games. Very much looking forward to the addition of the sound effects, as it has no sounds except for the background music. Felt a bit awkward getting the business silently, but the animations very much compensated for that. Control scheme is ergonomic & straightforward. Huge amount of potential for this game if this is just the beginning of it's development, would recommend downloading it even at the current stage. Will be watching this.

Overall, the art style of the game is quite pleasant. Though in agreeance with some of the other reviewers, the controls of the game could be improved on heavily. The animation is also rather nice in my own eyes, though may not be for everyone. And, while they're very few over all scenes in the game currently, I think giving this a 1 star review bomb is frankly unwarranted as it's easy enough to tell that there is a fair bit of care put into making the game over all. Give the developer more time, let them cook; we may see a pretty good game once it's more polished. For the moment, 4 stars is good enough in my book considering my earlier remark. It does need more polish.

- Horrendous platforming - No music - Atrocious control scheme. You can use the arrows, but the bottom and up arrows don't work, so you're left with WASD+Q+E+Space - Bad level design (you have to re-do nearly all the last jumps when climbing) - No SFX - Basically zero configuration - Just two scenes. The one with the wolf is alright, the snowman one not so much - No tutorial regarding the weird magic system - The art is fine If this ever gets worked on, maybe it can become good, but I wouldn't have high hopes.

I like that platformer, waiting for new updates♥ The game has potential, I really want to believe that the author will not abandon the project and will continue to improve his creation. The “resistance/submission” system is more than satisfactory, finally no need to chisel the “left” “right” buttons.

v0.5.1 - This is a really good initial impression, and despite it's shortness, something which has a ton of promise and H quality in it's current state. + The H animations are handmade and excellent, with varying stages, life and dynamic animations and finishing animations that don't just add yoghurt splashes or shake the screen + There is a great deal of movement and combat actions, and while the claw is a bit finnicky on reach compared to enemies, it's well built and functions as it should + The devs seem rather invested and provide frequent updates with meaningful impact, rather than waiting 6 months for "the water texture is now 30% nicer". - Sound on the main menu and then complete and utter silence afterwards was a bit off-putting. Having any sound, any voice, moans or even little "hup!" for jumping and attacking would make all the difference - The game is quite short right now, 2 enemies with an animation each, no game over animation. The level design is interesting, but it's clearly very bare bones with clear intention to populate it more. Overall, a 4/5 because it's worth a download, it's great handmade animation with a tentalisingly good level of hotness to them, and it looks promising. Taking away a star purely because of the negatives above it seems a bit bare bones and short right now.

Played version 0.5.1 Overall Great art and animation. Clearly still a demo with plenty of issues, however, those issues are small. Promising and looking forward to more. Good Partial ultrawide support Good, bright pixel art Sex animations have a beginning and end to them, the sex animation doesn’t just snap from not happening to happening Cute design of the slime wrapping around the snowman and giving it a scarf Issues No resolution and fullscreen options in the Options menu Can’t resize the non-fullscreen window Partial ultrawide support - the level select buttons go off the top of the screen, suggesting the ultrawide view is actually a zoomed in view of the 16:9 scene Controller support is limited to joystick movement. No jump, attack, opening menu, etc. Options menu has placeholders for adjusting the Sounds and Ambience levels, but no slider to do so Can’t navigate menu with keyboard The level select menu shows level 1 as a black silhouette, the same as levels 2 and 3, suggesting that level 1 isn’t unlocked Moving while holding down starts to crawl. Releasing the controls does not cause your character to stand back up, which is the more common way this is handled in other games. Zero sound during gameplay No health bars above enemies when fighting them When getting a game over, the screen fades out and big text blocks the middle of the screen. Nearby enemies stand around. It would be better if enemies pursue and have sex with you after a game over and you can watch it clearly. I was knocked down by the first snowman and it approached me. After touching me it disintegrated and my character disappeared. Had to go back to the main menu. Unclear what the horizontal pink bar in the UI is. I assume it's a pleasure bar but it doesn’t change its value. It’s an EXP bar. After getting grappled and not being successful in fighting back, the sex animation starts. It’s impossible to know what stage of the animation is playing and no button presses speed it up. The wall jumping and grappling feels bad. The first wall to grapple onto is the very edge of a ledge, making you think you can pull yourself up, but you can’t. You have to jump away in the opposite direction. Player should be able to press jump with no direction, or press up, to pull their character up from a ledge Grappling onto a wall requires you to press jump against that wall, instead of other games where you just hold a direction against the wall. When wall jumping back and forth, this means you have to press the jump button twice as many times as you expect. Can’t attack a slime while it’s doing its ‘attach to a snowman’ animation Getting up after being knocked down, before getting sex grappled, requires you to press the jump button. In most games like this you can also/primarily press the left/right movement buttons Coyote time jumping isn’t implemented A sign in the first level says “soon”, implying it’s the end of the demo, but it isn’t. There’s level to explore after the sign. Can’t attack in the air Filling the level up bar does nothing Jumped into an invisible wall and fell off a cliff because of that Edges of platforms, or the character’s collision shape, is rounded, causing you to slide off the edge of a block sometimes
