No Haven is a side game to the dungeon crawler Whorelock's Revenge (formerly Deeper Dungeons: Enhanced). Here you have command of a small group of slavers initially and from there you can send out your men, woman, assorted fantasy races, monsters and so on out on various assignments to earn gold, supplies and slaves.

Used for Nethemir Sissy examines where if they have a flat chest or small breasts they use the first version, and if not, they use the other. Picked from at random for the Futanari Black Orc Slaver examine.
-First version with a Female Nethemir and a Futanari Black Orc: Used for Slave examines with less than large breasts, while keeping the Wrapped in Webs one otherwise. Picked from at random for the Futanari Black Orc Slaver examine.
-First version with a Female Nethemir and a Female Black Orc: Used for the Female Black Orc Slaver examine.
-Second version with a Futanari Black Orc: Version for completing the Sissy Farm. Used for the Futanari Black Orc Slave examine.
-Second version with a Female Black Orc: Used for the Female Black Orc Slave examine.
-All five versions of The Sissy Farm are picked from at random for the Keldan examine. The previous Keldan examine which was also of the Unique Keldan Ariana is now pick from at random with her other examine.
-Callous Doctrine has also been included as while that Assignment is way down on the list of ones to do it seemed silly not adding it for another potential Black Orc Futanari examine while I was changing that anyway so that means that examine has three versions to pick from at random. Also been used for the examine of Dark Elves who are broken or an Orc Cum Addict.

-Added some new Succubus and Human names to the generator.
-Improved the look of Finish Day reporting so the morale and supplies used should look better and be using the right colours.
-As part of this morale now uses a sliding colour scale on that screen to better highligh.
-Changed some of the click anywheres back to regular click to continues where you might want to actually select the text without it jumping to the next screen. Did one after the nightly activity reports on Finish Day. Let me know if you can think of others that might be better being reverted.
-Quick start is a lot quicker. Please let me know if this runs into issues, and if you need to use the other Quick start option for it to work. I'm pretty sure the only reason that was ever a problem was due to the older version of twine sugarcube I was working with.
-Going on assignment unit barks were too missable before so I've now moved them over to display on the right below the main image and above where you select who you want to see next.
-Replaced the leading '-' for lists of choices with a white circle.
-Improved the look of the status box.
-Made the portrait image a bit bigger, and also slightly repositioned it.

Post 0.863 Update Re-Implementations - Encampment Roles
---
-All Encampment roles should now be fully working for both slaves and slavers. That this was a single sentence really doesn't say enough about what this took to get this working from the mess the code was from RAGS. I won't copy and paste it 100x to give it the proper weight it deserves, but if you want to imagine it taking up that much space in these notes, it's a much more fair reflection.
-Do note that that if you do assign the Smith and Seamstress role won't create anything yet. That's a whole other even more mindbreaking implementation yet to come. Hell, I don't think that ever worked entirely 100% in RAGS...
-This also includes the newer roles like Cumdump, and the updated checks for Camp Bitch where they get different text for things like being dominated/obedient or being exhausted.
-The working out for what someone with a cock will do each night has also been changed to the up to date version to account for this.
-For Twine I've decided to leave anyone on a role in the list of everyone in the encampment on the bottom right rather than moving them to a separate list like in RAGS. Let me know if you'd prefer them to be under a different heading.

-The standard City of Aversol Assignment Visit the Aversol Markets. I noticed that there were some issues as is in RAGS including an incorrect extra check that was making obtaining the unique who was in there before even more rare than it should have been.
-Dismissing from the Encampments including the options for a generous or lavish retirement though you won't be able to use the distinction or endearment from it yet.
-Included the improved text and assignment completion art for Hard Reality.
-Before racials being added certain races like Fae started with an aspect instead. The racials were in Twine already, but the added aspect slot was still being used so now that's been removed.

New Additions - Superiority
-A new mechanic for Assignment odds calculation. A conundrum I've had for awhile now is that the 1-100 scale means there's only so much I can do to adjust that in regard to meaningful bonuses, and so there often came a point with several high quality characters on Assignments where there was only so much the Assignment could be improved, and in some cases even result in worse odds as the ASsignment caculations attempted to bring the odds back down to adding up to 100 and keeping to the correct Assignment floors.
-Superiority aims to correct this by adding multiple Assignment ReRolls. These will be earned by a tracker where the more Critical Success and, to a lesser degree, Success have to be adjusted downwards to fit in the limits, the more ReRolls will be earned. Superiority is unlimited so theoretically you could get up a 1000% Crit and still see a benefit.
-Superiority will also provide information as an added bonus as it will show all the ReRoll(s) that were rejected so you'll know that the Assignment result is less than those rolls.
-Superiority also gives me something new to handout as a powerful bonus rather than the usual increase to Critical Success odds. There's a new Special Trait that add a Superiority Reroll. Speaking of;
New Additions - Special Traits
-Another conundrum I've had for even longer than the Assignment odds is that there's a whole bunch of Traits that I wanted to add in RAGS to flesh out the character generation to make them more interesting and characterful along with making the different races more destinct. Some of which were in my notes as ideas back when the only available Region was the Great Plains. The issue was is that a) there's a ton of Traits already in the game as is, and b) any new Traits would require making changes to potentially every single Assignment in the game, and I'm generally happy with the balance of the number of Traits on all of those without adding new ones to them just because they'd logically fit. That's the reason why I've deliberately chosen those certain Traits and not on others anyway even if say maybe Perceptive (Pcp) would probably be useful but it wasn't listed due to being good already onso many other Assignments.
-The solution I've come up with is Special Traits which will instead work more like the existing Racials while still having a description like a regular Trait. They'll give out bonuses and/or penalties that will work via the existing Traits.
-There are four new Special Traits in this update. All four can turn up on any character on a Rare Trait result.
-Frenzy (S:Fzy) - Adds a Superiority ReRoll on Assignments where the Trait Aggressive (Agg) would be a positive, then adds a disaster for any of the Traits Unruly (Unr), Unhinged (Unh) or Loner (Lon) are a negative on that Assignment irregardless of whether the character has those Traits, and will become Exhausted on return from that Assignment if not wounded or removed. Has a low bonus chance to appear on Human Northerners with (Agg), then a solid chance for Savage Orcs with (Agg), Lyonixin with (Agg), or those who come with the (Wer) Trait.
-Fragile (S:Frg) - Any Disasters added on Assignments will be converted to Failures instead. Adds an extra Failure if the Trait Resilient (Res) would be a positive, and will be wounded for much longer than usual. If Slave: Will take extra Slave Wear leading to more quickly becoming Broken anytime this is applied. Has a solid bonus chance to appear on Goblins (not Forest or Night Goblins). Has a chance to be inflicted instead of being removed on an Assignment. Will never be applied to Golems, Wrights, Oozes, Wisps, Trolls, Abyss Trolls, or Legion.
-Paranoia (S
ar) - Has an extra save to prevent being wounded or removed on Assignments. Adds an extra Success if the Trait Loner would be a positive. Adds an extra Failure on Assignments if any of the Traits Cooperative (Coo), Follower (Fol), or Persuasive (Per) would be a positive. Has a number of different Trait descriptions based around the current theory. Has a chance to be inflicted instead of being removed on an Assignment though not if the character also has one of the existing fears of one of the regions. Has a low bonus chance to appear on Shadow Outcasts. After all it totally wasn't their fault that they broke the most sacred of rules that the kindreds have, in fact it must have been the one of their fellow elves, working in conjunction with that dryad slut, and also the wisps too, who were really the ones to led to their exile, right?
-Tricksey (S:Tri) - This may count as any Magic or Elementalist Trait on Assignments if they would be a positive, and would not already have that Trait. Adds a Success instead of Critical or an Exceptional, and a minor bonus instead of a Success. Has a low bonus chance to appear on Human Wastelanders and Fae.
New Additions - Respect Checking - Seduction - Going all the Way
-Rather than always backing away after a failed Seduction attempt you can now attempt to get physical with some different options.
-This does need some more love so there's more results, and taking in the many, many different body types and races like lamia, but it should do for now as an initial set of options that can then be built off on later. Currently there's sub and dom versions for each of the different options, and then for each of those with the different possible genders involved including sissies, and then for if it worked or not for a current total of 36 different results.
-Currently the only penalty is additional morale damage to represent the target of your seduction potentially losing respect for your more flagrant attempt to manipulate them.
-There's now some alternate text for different traits and other reasons for the seduction failing rather than just the old one where they leer at you and you back off.
New Additions - Misc
-Expanded the Drider lore page to reflect changes since that was first written.
-Changed the dialogue colour for Elves so they're now different to Fae/Marlsune/Horned/Centaurs again.
Re-Implementations
-Biomancy and Corruption should now both be working. Tested you doing it on both slavers and slaves, and a slaver doing it for you for both should also work. There are so many possible results I haven't tested anywhere like even close to all of them, and so this is likely to still be issues in places that I haven't seen yet. Please let me know where it really falls over.
-Glossary, Help, and Options shuld now work. Enabled everything apart from Quick Restart as that thing scares the hell out of me... As a note some of the Art Sources, Help, and Frequently Asked Question answers are now incredibly out of date, even in regard to the older version I used as the conversion base, and much more so for the current RAGS version.
Post 0.863 Update Re-Implementations
-A number of backend calculation timers that handle Assignment odds are now updated to match the 0.991 versions.
-Some of the Wounding/Removal calculation, Wounding length, and alternate results to avoid removal including the regional fears now matches the 0.991 version.
-The Aggressive Trait Check on Assignments now matches the 0.991 version.
-The Disaster Check Calculation on Assignments now matches the 0.991 version which means the effect of Neko Racial has been re-o,[;e,emted.

-New Commissions :
---Basic Sissification Training. This has two variants, a regular one, and an alternate one that will appear more rarely. The regular one will be used for the Examine of City Elf Sissies, and the alternate rare one will be used for Fae Sissies.
---Private Passage. This has two variants, both used for the beginning of this Assignment, and the old version will now be used for the results. This will also have a 50/50 chance of showing up instead of the current Examine for Miina von Kekkonen.
---A Gem for the Betrothed. This has two variants, a regular one which is used as an additional piece for wedding, and an alternate one which will sometimes be used for Veren after Gem for the Betrothed if he is still a Slaver and is involved in nightly activities.
-Blue Dilemmas :
---Added twelve new 'Blue' dilemmas. These have a 50/50 chance of replacing the current possible dilemmas if the slaver has a specific Trait for each possible Trait if they have more than one. The Traits in question are all common or uncommon ones, and most of the Traits chosen are ones that are either less used or would usually be less good to have on a character to give them some extra bonus functionality. This raises to a 3 in 4 chance for each possible trait if the encampment has less than 300 gold pieces or 150 supplies for most of these. It's not possible to get the same one twice in a row.
---They also have a special bonus that if one of the possible buffs are active you will not get given another dilemma for the duration.
---The bonuses include some unique buffs, some new minor enchanted items, and the possibility of gaining an extra Trait slot.
---All of these are purely positive and will not result in negative morale if you decide against them. One of them even has a positive effect if you do decide against them.
---The new ones that are region specific will not happen unless you have found a new Assignment in that Region in the last 30 days. I've also changed the existing Region specific Dilemmas to work in the same way so if you're purposely not gaining Assignments in a Region then your guys and gals will know better than to talk to you about that Region.
-Miscellaneous additions :
---Changed 'View Purchased Upgrades' to 'View Upgrades' as this already included the Special Encampment Upgrades. Now this also shows Temporary Encampment Upgrades like the existing temporary bonuses from Encampment Roles, the ones from the new Blue Dilemmas, spent Endearments, and some of the existing Dilemmas like the bribes.
---The dilemma with the new slaver recruitment is re-enabled, and improved. The new slaver comes with an extra trait, and instead of getting it immediately you instead need to send the slaver who raised the dilemma to the Forage for Supplies Assignment. So you can just not do that if you change your name, and if you match the requirements the Assignment will automatically be a Success without loss of Morale so you'll also gain some extra Supplies. Two of the new Blue Dilemmas work the same way.
---Made some changes so Wisps and Legion will no longer start with the age based Traits in Debutante or Seasoned. Golems and Wrights will no longer be generated when looking to generate a younger character specifically though they can still get the trait as they can look either young or old while still being actually significantly older due to their own personal circumstances.
---The Blessing of Dark Favour buff is now more random in effect to make it possible to be either weaker, the same, or even stronger than it was before.
---The Seller of Quality Encampment Upgrade now only applies to the gold earned from Value Estimations rather than always applying.
---Clit Queen Training now unlocks Favoured Pet Training when completed.
---There will now be no dilemmas during the run up to Gem for Betrothed when Veren, Nike, or You are not available for selection on Assignments.
---Neko and Ponygirl Trainings now award a Distinction as if they were Tertiary Trainings.
---You can now give a lavish retirement even if you have the maximum number of Distinctions. Included a Warning to make it clear that you will not receive one and that you may want to spend one first.

-Odds Floors:
---Added a breakdown of how the odds floors work to the Glossary, Help, and Options.
---Added a new mechanic where based on the slaves in the encampment, and how much your slavers enjoy using them, will reduce the odds floors to potentially much lower than they were before. There are three tiers to this with the best one being both decidedly powerful and rather tricky to obtain.
---Now when the odds calculator is trying to get back to within the limits and to ensure that the total odds add up to 100%, the adjustments have been changed in terms of what gets reduced first, and by how much. The net result should be better for the player.
-Assignment Rewrites:
---Sky-Shaman. Critical Success will now always get an Icewyld harpy. Risk reduced from High to Medium, and now only has wounding/removals on the Disaster. Has a commission, and now has variants used for Icewyld Harpy Slavers and another one for Icewyld Harpy slaves.

---To encourage more engagement with some of the mechanics now selling a a slave with one of the Tertiary Trainings via Opportunities, the Auction, and from certain Assignments where the gold you receive is based on the Slave's Estimated Value will earn a Slaving Distinction.
---Spending one of these will result in the next Assignment having a roll of 1% which likely will guarantee a Critical Success.
---There are limits on when these can be earned, when they can be spent, and how many can be earned which are covered in greater depth ingame.
---These can be found on the player as a new option like if you wanted to Examine yourself or do a Personal Assignment.
---As part of this you can now earn progress towards the Seller of Quality Special Encampment Upgrade from selling in the same place as earning Distinctions so that's now not Auctions only. This includes Tribute of the Lost where you earn Favour instead of Gold.

---As I don't think anyone has ever been on a Deeper Foray you now only need to have succeeded at A Brief Foray twice to unlock that Assignment rather than having to do it three times. Greatly expanded the existing text, added a lengthy amount of alternate text on the Failure and Disaster for Submissive players, and added a Lore Page for the Unique.
---The new Rare Deep Mountains Assignment as another branch off from the Foray storyline should now be in fully working order. The special items you can get from this one are now far more detailed in terms of their description, changed a bunch of the mechanics, and generally all eight should be a lot more impressive. If you've already got the item the clothing or armour you get instead will now have the resilience and strength enchantments on the find something for a leader goal, and a seduction enchantment on the find something for a pet. Rewrote the results text, and now there's a bunch more variety of what races turn up to get involved.
---The Arrogance Storyline should now start correctly with some additional text in the Sable Masquerade result to serve as a better lead in.
---Fix for you not being able to go on Spear Fishing.

---Now slavers you start with and recruit come with a description of what they use when they go off on Marauding and the other more combat focused Assignments.
---These are for description and extra characterization rather than having mechanical effect. They however can change based on mechanical changes. Notably some of the buyable slaver upgrades.
---These are based on their race, traits, corruption, and height. Does more to explore the character of several races via the various implements that they like to carry around when they go out to kick some bottom.
---Many of the Recruitable and Findable Slaver Uniques have a specific weapon rather than rolling a generic one. If you have had a non-player Unique and you want a different weapon description then please let me know.
-Miscellaneous additions:
---The town robbery will now cap out at 100g loss if you have more than that with some new text to reflect that. So no more comely lasses suddenly finding they can now go out and buy their own personal slave princess any more.
---To reflect the new art dwarfs can now have pale-white skin and will be more much likely to do so. If they do they will also likely now have red eyes.
---Changed the Sea Elf dialogue colour mainly as I wanted them to use the same one as Taggerfolk and a shade of blue for them is certainly better than the maroon they had before.

-New Assignments:
---A new Uncommon City of Aversol Assignment which is effectively the upgraded version of Pillow Talk. Has three versions of a commission generously provided by a patron. Has submissive specific text of course given the theme, but can also be done as fully dominant not counting the Disaster, cause y'know it's the Disaster. As part of the work on this new Assignment I've expanded and improved the Pillow Talk intro. Mainly to reflect why you don't get extra gold by going yourself as the old intro implied the slaver going kept most of the gold they earned there. Also now has an alternate version if you're a Puppet Leader, and another if you're Possessed. The Pillow Talk Critical Success text has also been updated, including making the subby ones more subby, the dominant result more dominant, and now will generate the new Assignment rather than a Pillow Talk repeat. On the new assignment and on Pillow Talk, if the slaver is one who would always obey you in respect checks due to their trait, being a specific unique, or the scenario they will earn the same bonus gold, as if you had gone while having the best trait bonuses. So that's Submissive without Sex Addict on the Critical Success (Submissive and Sex Addict is a bonus on that result but a lower one) and Submissive on the Success. Has been added to the Artful Whore Aspect and the Festival of the Light Event.
---A new Standard City of Aversol Assignment which is a new way to purchase supplies. Has a SFW landscape commission generously funded by a patron. Can provide supplies even on a Failure. On all results apart from Disaster there's one of six different events that can happen which are affected for the better or worse by the quality of the result, whether you went, traits, races, and even one of the scenarios. Plan is to expand this with more events in later updates.
---A new Rare City of Aversol Assignment which is the longest assignment to date. The actual Assignment is not that long, however if you Critical or Success it extends to over thirty days with rewards to make it worth your while. ---A new Rare Dreadsea Coast Assignment which is based around an outside of the ordinary Fae. Has a commission generously provided by a patron. Potentially can get a Unique slaver with a new Enchanted Item.
---A new Special Great Plains Assignment which is the third part of Temple Takeover. Has a commission generously funded by a patron. Can improve the existing Unique slaver from the previous part with a new Aspect. Can reward a special Encampment Upgrade, which is improved if you used the Unique slaver. Due to this Assignment it is now possible for Lamia to be Convent. Uses the commission for this Assignment, and are most definitely rare.

---Coastal Caves. Will also be used for Lamia slavers with Sneaky (Sne). Also used with a zoomed in version for both Sea Elf and Savage Orc slavers (those with Magic:Corruption or Depraved will still use the Profane Ritual one). There was also a nice variation for the Sea Elf with a tattoo that I didn't think worked with the whole piece and so instead have used it to replace the Promoted Sea Elf portrait. That's had an updated description to reflect that.

Then on a Critical Success where you would get the Semi-Unique you'll get the alternate version with her being enslaved that will also be used for the unique Lago'Mae's Examine art. Any other result, then the existing artwork will be used.
---Nest of Vipers. Also used for Lamia slavers (replacing the Marshlands one which will be used for that specific encounter when that is a thing), and the Coastal Caves Critical Success. Will also be used for Lamia players or those with Lamia heritage during Nightly Activity Hypnotizing or Respect Checks using the Hypnotise option.
---Encampment Upgrade Centaur Outrider. Includes variations for each of her three upgrades. For now will be used for buying Encampment Upgrades in general until I get more done with the exception of expanding the encampment/pit which will use the existing Encampment art (or golem ones if playing that scenario).
-Maid Training:
---New Basic and Advanced Training. Has commissions for both parts which has been used before for Lago'Mae wearing a Maid outfit.
---Camp Bitches with either Maid Training will find extra supplies. Those who have the Advanced Maid Training will also be more likely to find supplies.
---Basic will apply a Maid outfit if the slave is not wearing one like Ponygirl training. Will get a better one on a Critical Success. Advanced will also apply a Maid Outfit has been removed since Basic has been done which will be sluttier.
---Basic can be done without losing Innocent (Inn), and has some extra text on the Critical Success result to reflect this.
---Basic has a different Disaster if you are doing it with a different negative outcome.
-Gorgons: ---New race, available as all possible genders. Can be played (with Fav/Unf specific to them), can be slavers, and can also be slaves.
---Uses an alternate version of the Artistry in Flesh commission for Females and the Promoted Slaver portrait.
---For the regular starting portraits, the Futanari and Male examines, and for different permutations of sexytimes with different genders there's a whopping eight different versions. The examines will also vary between the cum/non-cum on Female versions.
---Artistry in Flesh has been overhauled with some re-writing to the existing text. Now has an alternate version which you will need to go on yourself to be able to unlock Gorgons as a race. After that has been done they'll begin to appear like any other of the rarer races. Or you can start as one where they will automatically be available, but then the Artistry in Flesh Assignment will not be available for that playthrough.
---Can petrify or unpetrify a slave in the same way as a Petrification Potion. This can be done once a day via an option on Make Use of for Gorgon slavers, and as a Personal Assignment if you're playing one yourself.
---Have a new powerful racial, which doesn't just include their petrification abilities, and of course also a new lore page for the race.
-Fel Tainted Rework:
---The trait now has a ranking of (0) to (5) from no negative effect and very little positive effect, to as per the old trait and counting twice.
---Now when the trait would have been applied in the past there's a roll to see if it increases and by how much. There are twenty five separate modifiers including a bunch of different traits, races, aspects, and the current position on the tracker.
---There's a new help complete with lore explanations to fully break down how all of this works in detail.
-Biomancy Improvements
---Futafication and Race Changing is now enabled so Nearly Impossible no longer is actually Impossible. Nearly Impossible is now a base 10% and the various modifiers can affect that as any other option.
---These are not their full power versions which are still planned for the final part of the Biomancy Storyline. As such Futafication will require Resilient (Res) and Strong (Str) for the attempt while Race Changes has a whole bunch of things that might disqualify them from the attempt including being Fel Tainted (Fel) or being one on of the more non-standard body sizes like lamia or driders.
---Races Changes in the non full power version works similar to how it did in Whorelock's Revenge and so races will have a set destination race. Meaning you might need to do two or many races changes depending on where they started from and where the target you're aiming for is on the chain.
---Futafication in the non full power version will likely need more Biomancy work on the cock and breasts to get them up to the proper Futa standard.
---Both have possible exceptional results.

-Removal Overhaul
---There's now a base 75% chance for something else to happen if a slaver would before have been removed from the encampment on an assignment. This will only apply if there was a risk of being wounded instead. Automatic removals where there's no way to avoid it will still apply as before
--- This can either be gaining Cowardly, Heroic, Sex Addict, Unruly, Peaceful+Sympathetic, or the slaver refusing outright to return to that Region. All of those come with a extra hit of morale loss. If gaining a trait that will lose a trait slot.
---Can get more than one Region blocked, but not the same one twice. It's also not possible to get the Great Plains blocked (also not the Deep Mountains in the Lady of Many Feathers scenario). The unlockable region counts as Deep Mountains for the purpose of these.
---Golems, Wrights, and those already Obedient or Heroic are not likely to be so shaken and so will be removed as before.
---If the slaver has a trait that would not be compatible with the alternative result such as having Follower for Unruly or Reserved for Sex Addict they will be removed as before.
---If the slaver later gains Heroic, Obedient, or are made a slave they can ignore any Region blocking they may have got from these alternatives to being removed.
---Slavers with Unruly now take additional moral loss if the normal base Encampment morale change is in the negatives.
---It is now much easier to Dismiss a slaver with Cowardly, Sympathetic, or has got one of the new Region blocks.
---Added a new save on Standard assignments to greatly increase the chance that the slaver will be wounded instead. To preserve some of ol' Scout the Deep Mountains bite it will Badly Wound now.

Ensnared Rose Introduction:
---Rather than available from the start, the Ensnared Rose will now be introduced early on in the first month. This will also introduce as part of normal gameplay the concepts of the Town, Tavern, Mercenaries, and the Marshlands to new players who might otherwise have missed that option.
---You can ignore it and not have access for that playthrough, or you can get a new encounter which can provide a number of bonuses to starting off.
---You can either get no strings attached gold, more gold as a loan (which can kickstart the debt storyline), a slaver (potentially one of the existing recruitable uniques if you don't take her at the start), information on some better quality assignments in all regions, or a special outfit.

---Advanced Obedience Training Critical Success only applies Obedient (Sub+) with 80+ Willpower along with Submissive (Sub) which it need before to make it trickier to get so relatively early on in a slave's training, and to make the other sources of getting that trait more desirable. There's alternate text to both versions based on Willpower if they have Submissive (Sub) going into the assignment.
---Advanced Lesbian Critical Success can give Lesbian Desires if the slave doesn't get it on Basic version. Added a estimate value bonus to Lesbian Desires.
---Advanced Blowjob Training also now can give Cocksucking Natural on the Critical Success if they didn't get it on the basic version.
---Advanced Dominance Training now removes Sympathetic (Sym) on both Critical Success and Success results.
---To replace the aspect Bimboborn which Advanced Bimbo Critical Success used to give I've added a new aspect to that result called Ditzy Doll. This aspect will also replace Bimboborn as a Level Up option so that aspect will only be available from Corruption for now to reflect the nature of that aspect being about having one of the naughtier powers watching over them no matter the trouble that they might get into. Ditzy Doll is the first aspect to scale in power with the character's experience which is an idea I like and one that I'll revisit when I get round to adding more aspects. Like with slaver gear upgrades you'll use assignment ranks up instead, and yes you can take this aspect on a Level Up unlike Bimboborn.

---Now slavers won't just want to talk to you in the morning about random bits of in-setting lore and will instead have a variety of requests.
---Should happen more often than lore unlocks and should adjust how often they happen based on how many slavers you have in the encampment.
---Wisps don't really have normal desires, and will just do what they like. Legion are also not really into asking permission for anything. Zharr, thugs, bimbos, obedient slavers, and other completely loyal ones are all far too content with their lot to ask for stuff. Mercenaries are just here to get paid and will also not bother you.
---There are twenty three different dilemmas to start off with at various levels of rarities in how often they'll happen. Several of which have variation in outcomes, options, and reasoning.
---Slavers on negative reputations and on certain levels of morale will be far more likely to either ask to leave if disliked or insisting you do something about being lusted after.

---Can get your second-in-command to deal with it if they're around. Due to this Persuasive (Per), Seductive (Sed), Hypnotic (Hyp), Dominator (Dtr), Malevolence (Mal) are now listed as positive traits and Bimbo (Bim), Sex Addict (Sex) are mixed. Also added a note that them having a decent reputation helps, as it does.
---If you do this second-in-commands on lower morale have a chance to dislike the role more making them easier to remove if you want to do that. They also have a chance to lose some reputation if they handle it really badly.

---A Forest Goblins vs. Wood Elves themed Uncommon Slaving assignment in the Ever Forest for a new solid source of supplies. Critical success has two versions, one for getting a slave, and one for if you have no slave capacity/are not taking slaves.
---An Adventurers themed assignment Rare Marauding assignment in the Dreadsea Coast. The Critical Success has patron provided commissioned art. Findable from the second month and will apply a penalty to Dreadsea Coast assignments along with a lesser penalty to Great Plains assignments while it is active giving the choice of sending five slavers to deal with it at a high risk or waiting for the assignment to expire. Critical success has three versions, one first time getting a specific semi-unique slave, one for after that with more variation in who you get, and one for if you have no slave capacity/are not taking slaves.

---Halt Draenei Caravan with two versions for intro and the success. Also used for Draenei female slavers and female slaves. Also used for now for Draenei Farm, but I'm getting something new for that.

Now it is possible to increase the chance of getting a rare assignment based on it being a solid lead, a quality lead, or best lead for an increasingly large bonus.
---Most assignments will work as they did before with the following exceptions.
---The assignment you can get in the Tavern is a solid lead.
---The assignments from brought scouting upgrades will be either normal, solid, or quality based on the level purchased.
---The assignments from Inquisitor will be quality leads.
---The bonus assignments from the Scouting aspects on Critical Success will be best leads, and on a Success will be quality leads.
---A Critical Success on Scouting assignments along with Grove Creepers will be solid leads.
---The assignments from Decadence like No Other on a Critical Success will be best leads for the City of Aversol ones, and quality for the others. On a Success all assignments generated will be solid so this should hopefully make this assignment a lot more worthwhile than it was before.
---An edge case not likely ever to come up, but it amused me so why not, so on a Failure of Sudden Betrayal if you did try to get rid of a slaver with the A Friend in Every Tavern aspect the assignments generated will be best leads.
-Miscellaneous additions:
---Stats now shows how many free trait slots you, a slaver, or a slave can have. This is how many extra traits can be learned from most sources including corruptions (usually, as there are exceptions that ignore this limit such as training). The number of slots can be increased by levelling up.
---Used zoomed in versions of the Nymph commission for generic sex for elves or those that have been dominated performing oral on lady or futanari slavers.
---Reworded the Decadence like No Other intro a bit along with adding a note in the Special text.
---A few bits of text additions and formatting improvements to respect checking.
---Changed the colour of wood elf speech from maroon like other elves to match the one used also by Centaurs, Horned Ones, and Fae.
---Adjusted Critical Success/Success odd additions a bit if the chance of a Failure/Disaster falls well below negative at time of applying. -Bimboborn removal protection now only applies to slavers.
-New powerful racial for Draki giving them the chance of rerolling the assignment result when their magic/elementalism would be a positive.

---Wayward Temptations. A new uncommon Dreadsea Coast assignment with specifically commissioned art and a hidden reward. Also used for the recruitable slaver unique Kaara de Sindero Oscuro's examine which gives you a pretty big clue of what that hidden reward might involve. Crit and Success have different descriptions on the outcomes based on your slaver's traits and aspects to reflect how they might go about accomplishing it. Specifically there's ones for Anointed One, Submissive, Depraved, mental powers like Dominator, Mind Reader, Faith: Shallya, and Seductive in that order along with the more basic approach for none of the above. All with altered/expanded versions when you go personally.
---Quicker than they Like. A new rare assignment on the Great Plains, and a follow up with some impressive rewards to the first QAYL. Only available for player characters who have run that first assignment themselves and were fortunate to return relatively unscathed. As part of this there's now a bonus to QAYL for you based on how many times you've run it yourself up to a maximum of five times which will also increase the chances of having a forced encounter.
---Spectacle of the Sacred. A new rare assignment on the Dreadsa Coast using patron provided commissioned art. Available from the second month onwards. First time you go on it has unique rewards (including an encampment buff), and text with two alternate approaches. Can be repeated after that with the two goals but with somewhat different text and rewards.

---To Hunt a Paladin. First part for the assignment and then another part for the successes.
---Raid Human Village. Also used for Human Commoner male slaves. Now should always respect the gender to enslave general order with specific traits if you get a male on the Crit.
---Raid Goblin Village. Now moved to the Dreadsea Coast, and has expanded text to reflect that. Two day version is no more and has been replaced by a five day version with improved rewards to reflect the additional time taken. Has alternate versions of the commission including one only seen if you do send an ogre futanari and succeed there. Now should always respect the gender to enslave general order.
---The Encampment. Will be used on finish day to show up randomly along with the title page, the blank background, your character's examine, and the map. It also will be replaced if there's an assignment completing or a slave is being used. Crops of it are now used for the Male Wright and Female Neko slaver examine (the old Female Neko slaver examine is used for now as the Futanari one with the old Futanari one being removed).
---The Encampment for the Golem Scenario. Crops with variants of it are now used for Kreen and Cathayan slave examines. Due to this I've added a new placeholder for Female Cathayan slavers.
---Female/Futa Human Cityborn Slaver Examine, Female/Futa Marlsune Slaver, and Female/Futa Marlsune Slave Examines depending on the version used. There's also another version to be used in a later update when a certain advanced race is added.

---Failing to implant a trigger can now result in the target slaver returning the favour if they are Hypnotic/Dominator/Psionic and will be more likely to attempt to start a forced encounter. -Being Beloved will protect for getting more feared while being Dreaded will protect you from being more liked. Made some more adjustments so that while being feared is still easier to lose the fall will be less harsh when messing up assignments compared to say them being your bed warmer or walking around something super slutty. Being Popular or Beloved will be far less likely to get onto the obsessed over path. Same for Feared or Dreaded for the being disliked path. Failures will be less likely to cause changes than before. Being Liked or Popular will be less likely to switch over to the Respected path.

-New assignment to allow a safer way to dispose of slaves. Going yourself gives a number of potential options along the way to both change up the rewards, change the risk, and give the chance for some roleplay if you fancy. Each of these options has its own set of crit/succ/fail/disaster outcomes effectively making each one a mini-assignment in their own right. I've also added many alternate vignettes in those outcomes when referring to specific races you encounter with common, uncommon, and rare versions to make the world seem bigger and more varied. Going to try to do more of that in future.
-New mechanic where certain slavers and bed warmer slaves will if they have the right traits, your reputation is on the Alluring path, and other checks like morale if they are a slaver are met then they will force a sexual encounter with you. These encounters will have increasing consequences depending on how often it happens. (Note: If you are already a puppet-leader or are forming a line every night either of those will disable this one.)
-New encampment role in the head slave.
-Expanded and reworked the starting race bonuses. Every start now has six new favoured and five unfavoured selections of which can be traits, assignment types, regions, other races, and attire (Kreen are missing one unfavoured due to leaving a space open for planned content). Includes every currently playable race and subtype even the ones only available usually in scenarios or with a promoted slaver. Some races have other special bonuses like the old additional gold or supplies. -Due to this there are now more options of races to outcast into that replace your current set of bonuses as before.
-To reflect the reworked starting bonuses I've expanded the Ori'Nek, Akir, Amazons, Marlsune, Kitsune, Lizardman, Asanei, Drow, Draki, Draenei, Kreen, Fancy, Harpy, Trolls, and Cathayan lore pages.
-Lizardmen now get Perceptive by default and some other races have also had some traits added and/or altered.
-New commission for Wrapped in Webs. An alternate cum splattered version will now be used for Nethemir slaves. Also used a crop for a new Nethemir portrait start.

-Other new patron funded content in slavers can now force a sexual encounter with you based on your reputation and their traits, virginity tracking being partially unlinked from the Innocent trait, a new fae start, a new drow start, a new unique drow, and a new unique werewolf guy.

-Dominated and Obedient now override will checking for the purposes of assignments so high or low it will still be good for you.

I’ve also made the aspect text colouring more consistent while I was there.
-Can start as a bimbo/sissy either with the Whore Exodus scenario or by super negative (TF edition only). Due to this Feminine is now taken automatically if already taken via the chosen portrait rather than taking the trait

-Improved the slaver takeover functionality from the solo QAYL mini-adventure so rather than a blank portrait now every eligible race and gender combo has a new portrait. Some are from the existing examines which seemed appropriate, while many others where the examine wouldn’t be suitable have entirely new ones. Due to all the combinations needed that means there are effectively a whopping 96 new playable options including races that have not ever been playable before including Lizardmen, Asanei, and Oozes. Along with having the chance to have them takeover as part of a normal playthrough these are also all available as part of the TF Edition.
-Due to the large number of new starts the TF Edition ones have a set trait selection outside of as appropriate to the race like fleet on Centaurs, though you can fully customise these as normal. If you do these the race traits will persist through the full custom like they do currently with harpies and the like.
-Introduced the Puppet-Leader of the Encampment position where you’re technically still in charge, but everyone knows who really calls the shots. You lose the assignment bonus, will have a much harder time with respect checks, and be immune to takeover attempts for now. The standard city elf noble start, and the super negatives Lacey’s Toy and Chosen of Itzpa’ux (TF Edition) will all gain this, and there will be other ways for this to happen in future.
-Added more checks to the slaver takeover so now uniques are always happier being the power behind the throne, some races won’t takeover due to being unsuited to lead others like wisps, and will check more traits, height (with a special bonus for unusually large members of smaller races), the second-in-command optional histories, whether they have challenged you before, and reputation to see who is willing and most likely to attempt to overthrow you.
-The slaver takeover functionality now has more triggers as an alternative to the old game over, being stuck in bondage, the reputations obsessed over and pariah, becoming sissy, or gaining bimbo. It’s no longer a straight loss with you having options to defend yourself based on your traits like dominator/hypnotic and your race.
-Plugged Quick as you like slavers will no contribute to a treacherous encampment as they have other things on their mind. They also won’t try to takeover either.
-Due to this the blessings of perversion corruption Pretty Maid can now give sissy, and the corruption Bimboborn can now hit you.

For a lot of them this isn’t just a case of changing the identifiers, but also expanding the text to add more detail to reflect you being there. The google documents where I saved all the text was around 22k words so while there’s some repeats and adapted existing content there’s a decent chunk of words, words, and more words in there.
-Where appropriate some assignments also have improved text for you not being present where what was there before was very basic like the Draenei Farm. This also includes new submissive specific content on Lead Astray, Raid High Elven Dwelling, and Gone for a Soldier.

-Massive corruption overhaul including with all the old corruptions split into four new categories, new options, and the chance to use it on your slavers, or to have your slavers use it on your. version 0.41 TF i tried to be open minded about this game since it's text based. but it's truly a disappointment. everything is a mess. sex scenes are meh, explanation is meh about anything. but the content is just so boring. i played a couple of hours. ofc there are some bugs, some bad path critical bugs as well, but you basically just control slavers (and slaves), while RANDOM sex images are popping up on the right, maybe they have some logic to them, but i didn't find any. it makes no sense, it's almost so bad that it's actually sad. after a while i didn't even look at the "sex images" on the right anymore because they were just so random and repeating. honestly, the dev bit more than he/she could chew, there are so many traits, so many races and etc, extreme amount of quantity in personalization... yet i barely found any quality/depth in them. in the couple of hours all the sex scenes I've seen/read is when my slavers rape the slaves... and even that is repeated a lot and are not even sexy. paired with bugs in the interface with how to interact with slaves, i would never recommend this game to anyone in its current form. maybe the original RAGs version was better, idk, i am not planning to find out how to play rags games, but this version is just terrible. honestly from preview pictures the original version at least looked decent. although the gameplay was probably bad too but who knows. i might check this game in like a year or so if they improved the bugs and UI and gameplay, because i think there is certainly a huge potential in this game, but imo it's just impossible to deliver with so many types of characters, there isn't enough art for it unless dev uses AI or pays a lot of artists which he wouldn't. so i predict this will remain in a messy state forever but anyway i will check back in a year maybe it improves by then and change my rating but there is near 0% chance for that.
No Haven is a great concept let down by glacial, unfocused development and the decision to spend years developing it in an outdated engine that needs considerable effort to get working on modern OS'. The core is a management sim where you play as a gang of thugs/slaves/rogues whatever you want to call them. You essentially find leads on shady jobs, assign your people to them based on their skills and abilities, and then you get fucked in the ass (sometimes literally) by RNG telling you that you failed anyway. There's a lot of elements you can manage with your 'team' and camp, and a lot of different jobs that have static lewd images with a heavy WoW focus. There's also a really extensive character creator at the start. This is all fine and well, but after many years of development there is still a total lack of focus. There's almost no initial plot, very little development of NPCs or the world, no goals given to the player. I've tried playing it many times and still have no idea if it's winnable or not. There are also tons of super rare jobs and events that require back to back to back high rolls on RNG checks; there's a reason why someone just made a cheat mod for the old version. And then compounding this is the switch from RAGS to Twine, which is something that badly needed to happen but took actual years and is still in a hideously buggy state. It's been in development for a very long time at this point, and it's still a long way away from ever being something I'd call a finished game, or even a functional game in its current state. As far as I can tell most of the dev's budget gets flushed down the toilet commissioning more futa WoW art every month, which is great for him I'm sure but doesn't actually improve the state of the game in the slightest. One of those games that will be forever be 'in early alpha' until the dev quietly disappears one day.
0.3 Twine I spend lot's of time playing that game at rags and i really like how much smoother experience is on twine. The ui could be more clear but even left as it is it is better experience than haveing it on rags. It's still work in progress but i will be waiting for when everything or at least most of it gets implemented. I would love to get back to this game. Unfortunately it's not yet completed enough.
0.3 Twine I love No Haven, it has pretty much everything I like, I put hours and hours into the old RAGS version, however in it's current incarnation it's fundamentally broken. Moving away from RAGS is a great choice, but it desperately needs a UI overhaul now that's it's not restricted by the old engine. Beyond the fact that it's currently broken af, It's both unintuitive and clunky. It could be made much cleaner with just a few flyouts and a more dynamic "top half". No reason to try and simulate the old RAGS look in browser. Aside from the jank No Haven is in desperate need of: a) a solid introduction sequence. Put in some events to actually go and meet important NPCs and locations. b) actual interactions and events between characters. even if they're just "archetype" specific. c) Actual goals and a core gameplay loop.
5/5 concept with -X/5 delivery... Quite simply rags is a fucking awful engine and the game desperately needs remade from the ground up in literally anything else. As far as the gameplay, in the incredibly frustrating event you get it to work, it is a solid foundation but also needing massive refinements. While it is a complicated game the UI is also one of the worst I've ever seen and makes the learning curve unnecessarily troublesome. Also, afaik there are no options to turn off the gay shit aside from loaded dice manually avoiding weird shit; thankfully the art is also severely lacking so the text isn't all that offputting.
This game is phenomenon. If you liked text-based management games then this would be a must-try. Tons of contents and world-building also make this game very replayable. The only weakness is maybe the flavor texts for sex scenes. Too little variety, probably because the developer trying to make them as generic as possible to fit all scenarios. Minus 1 point because it made in RAGS. Each times you play its a gamble of whether this shitty engine will crash or not, the crashes ain't even fixable either because it is in the engine and not the game itself lmao. If Bedlam made this in any other engine then this would be a straight 5 stars.
Right off the bat, the score for this game is simultaneously 5-stars and 3-stars, because this game is fundementally broken. This is an amazing game, that I have come back to for years and years, yet have been never able to properly "finish". What draws me back every time, is the amazing ammount of character-customization and flavour you can bring into the game, and the sheer amazing variety of different runs you can set up for yourself, exploring various fantasies. The character-trait system is an awesome feat, and the way these traits are implemented into the gameplay involves the kind of insane attention to detail that you rarely see in any type of game, and which absolutely elevates a management-game like this. Added to this is the generally good and engaging quality of writing and worldbuilding, that balances the different types of engagement with the game really well, and the plethora of actual gameplay-features and customization you can accomplish, and there is very little about the concept on-paper that I could not recommend to someone who plays management-games. ...But it's built in RAGS, in an engine that cannot handle this kind of abuse. Everything takes so long to do, especially starting the program up in the old version. The loading-times are horrendous, and despite the years of coding and optimization, the game still breaks itself from time to time, easily "destroying" characters at random points, especially once you've gone on for a while, and your save-/roster-sizes start to get a bit bloated. The interface is horrendous for equipping characters, and moving people inside the camp is also awkward. I could go on, but the short of it is that I can't really handle playing a text-based game like this if it's also incredibly clunky to play. There are also small issues with the core-gameplay. There is quite a bit of repetetive grind, for the PC-actions especially. The flow of slaving is very good overall, but it takes a bit too much resources to start seeing returns on it (something the dev has recently improved on). The game also doesn't have an ending yet, that I know of, which is a shame in a project this long. But overall, the main issue is just the nature of the game itself, and the engine it's made in. I appreciate immensely that the dev has taken the difficult decision to port this over to Twine, as long and arduous as that task is. I hope to one day see this game receive the attention it deserves, when the flavour within it finally becomes available in a form that is functional and accessible. I will personally be promoting it with glowing reviews, once it does.
Fantastic game with excellent mechanics, still needs some polish and the RAGS engine is an unfortunate choice, but it's being updated to Twine, so not a deal breaker, definitely recommend this game for anyone with BDSM and Slave kinks
What a great game. I was going to play dota, which is an addicting game in it's own right, but then i booted up this game. Coming in with zero expecations.I've played well over 10 hours now and i find it hard to put the game away. It's really addicting. It's just really well made. I only wish it was made on a better engine because saving and loading takes time. Somewhere along the road i forgot this was a porn game lol.
V.9.6 but I've been playing since the beginning and do not see myself stopping at any point in the future. One of my favorite games. Period. It doesn't have the strongest appeal as an adult game. It is more of a genre defining masterpiece of a management game with adult themes. I could gush over this game for hours, even though I don't believe I have ever gushed to this game. The artwork is next level, and often commissioned. That being said its almost too beautiful, or too specific. Like the emphasis isn't really on arousal. The real draw of the game is managing a fantasy "slaving camp" which is basically a bad ass group of adventures. And with the additions of defending missions you can even play hero. You send them on missions for gold and supplies, standard affair. EXCEPT! In this game you also can acquire slaves through various means, train em, put em to work, violate them, sell them, pimp them out or kick em to the curb. This game literally needs to be held up a the gold standard for a simulation/management style gaming experience. Everything is perfect when it comes to questing, camp management and slave training. The mechanics are absolutely brilliant. The races all feel different and have their specialties, but at the same time almost any race can specialize into almost any role. This is due to the immensely impressive trait system they have made, as well as their bomb ass leveling system. As far as kinks go, it delivers on what it promises. Hypnosis, training, anal, bondage, transformation, endless variety of races/monster girls, corruption (physical and mental), futa etc. There are a few minor issues I have with the game. Because of the art direction and focus, there is no character customization. If one of their premade characters doesn't resemble what you are looking for the whole game loses a bit of its magic, which super sucks. Another issues when creating your leader is that the game tries to keep levels of continuity within its universe and a lot of the game is stripped away from you depending on your choice of race and gender. If you want hypnosis the only race that comes with it "built in" is lamia... a female or futa only race. Sure you can make a human with hypnotism, but it costs you a premium 6 points to pick up, in almost any other case with any other race. And it is one of the best parts of the game, along with biomancy. But both cost 6 points, and biomancy can at least be picked up elsewhere. Even if you arn't doing a beta play through I truly feel that your camp leader is always undervalued, especially when compared to the rest of your camp. Your main person will have almost no skills, and you basically have to pick one aspect of the game you want to explore. Which can really limit the game by creating a massive bottleneck, especially at the beginning where you have nothing and your slavers are all low tier garbage, usually. Outside of the start of the game, there are really only two other issues I have. The sexual parts of the game could be stronger and more in depth. there are small amounts of text whenever you perform certain actions, which is great. But it lacks any real impact. Its more stating what's happening, rather then creating an experience. But the writing is getting better and better with every update. God bless your hearts Bedlam games... you are all saints <3 . And, suprisingly, the game shys away from a lot of the darker aspects of things. This is a game about human trafficking, and you can't murder your slaves to make an example of them, rape or abduct random people, there is no consequences for your actions (which is especially weird as sometimes you'll go into town and see wanted posters for you and your crew), drug use and using drugs is there but barley (shakko, orc cum addictions, but thats about it), alchemy but no healing potions, chloroform, straight up poison, etc., important camp roles that can be given to slaves and I have never had like, the cook slave attempt to poison my encampment, you know?, traits like dominator feel non impactful as you simply can't break your slavers at will, like YOU are the leader of the camp. It isn't a fucking democracy. Getting rid of your slavers is a pain in the fucking ass. The game loads you up with morons in the beginning of the game then at a certain point later on you will nonstop find slavers that can do what 4 or 5 of yours can but your camp is full of useless idiots. They added 1 mission to the plains as far as I am aware where you can "betray" them and have them abducted and sold... but that is such a hassle. You can degrade them and enslave them, but that requires micromanaging them failing missions to lose enough popularity to be able to enslave them, you know, cus you need the camp to back you, the leader. Like, if its happening every day I could see them going, "omg im next." But it shouldn't be as big of a deal as it is. Or you can send them to go play in traffic, but most missions that are dangerous enough to kill often are rare and have the best rewards and so you don't really want to waste them, not to mention the fact that your whole encampment gets depressed as fuck whenever they lose a "friend", no matter how useless or how much of a cunt they are. THESE ARE PEOPLE WHO WILLINGLY ENSLAVE OTHER PEOPLE!!! Sure, honor among thieves, but there are literally traits for honorability. Useless they have that, they should be more inclined to be kinda shitty. I get that Unscrupulous is also a trait... but I really feel like it should be implied that all of your SLAVERS arn't the best people. And even then, your "evil" slavers don't cause any real problems. Greedy ones steal from you, but don't turn on the party and steal all the rewards for themselves and run off into the wilds to create a new quest.... that could be cool, and unhappy leaders will try and plot against you, but there is no general infighting and everyone takes stuff out on you rather then the slavers whose fault things actually are. If one of your parties has a 99% chance to crit and a 1% chance to critically fail and they fail and die and one coward comes back unharmed, string that asshole up. I did everything I could to help them succeed. But none of your slavers try and hurt each other, they don't have any different variations in dialogue outside of being a bit rougher with the slaves, and the magic at play in the game outside of biomancy is really underwhelming. I'm pretty sure a person with the ability to kill you with their words or mind would be more helpful then a person with big muscles when doing something as mundane as raiding a farm. If anything magic should be overpowered, but the slavers who use it should be Divas. Like how every other slaver gets when you have them look for supplies around the camp. As it stands most magic or straight up super powers have 1 or 2 missions they are good for. and they are almost useless anywhere else. Psionic should give a crit success on every mission outside of a few in the coast and the deep mountains (where it should honestly yield crit failures.). Reading minds is literally never not useful! And it is also one of the abilities you cannot start with at the beginning of the game. Nice. All I want is for the ability to play as puppet master... is that too much to ask? Seriously though. Genuinely in my top 3 favorite games of all time. Love. This. Game.
[Version 0.951 TF] I won't say that this game is for everyone-- for a text-based game the mechanics are complex: There is a lot to juggle between managing slaves, slavers, quests, supplies, and gold. While the gameplay may seem daunting (especially to those unfamiliar with RPGs), it allows for an impressive depth of character customization. No Haven is imperfect but worth a try. The high-risk nature of late-game quests creates actual stakes that can make or break each run. If you are patient, there is a lot of content to discover beneath the game's infamous RAGS Interface.
Great game, but engine really turns it down. At first the game is overwhelming, tutorial helps a bit, then you get in the game and notice that RAGS is quite laggy engine, but it's not that bad. Maybe you want to experiment, but saving and especially loading times are way too long to do that. Save file is about 55MB! After some time I got used to flonky UI and laggy engine, but as your camp grows, the problem becomes more pronounced. When you have 10+ slavers and slaves, it's quite hard to keep track who knows, owns and does what. When you're in assignment tab, you can't examine your characters. There is a suggestion option for which character to select, but it's not enough when you're trying to make best use of your manpower. Lag problem also gets worse as your characters interact more with each other. It also feels like there's reputation entropy. Your characters gain a bit of reputation with each successful mission... and the they fail a task with 90% success rate and lose a lot of reputation. After a while, even most experienced slaver with best equipment tend to regress to a really bad reputation.
Really like the concept of the game and would truely like to enjoy it however being on Rags the performance of this game is serverly hindered. The uploader has failed to include all necassary files in their links to make the game playable and requires people chase after 3rd party programs before being able to load up No Haven properly. Once ingame the overload of information is too much to take in, especially since some of the text is mixed up with coding
This is easily one of my favorite games ive found on this site. I love the art, i love the writing, i love the gameplay. RAGS is the main issue here, obviously. Its not the greatest engine to run a game like this but it is manageable, once you get used to it. And i do think that varierty, art, writing, gameplay and the sheer amount of content in this game makes dealing with rags worth it.
This could've been even a 5/5, but the engine is just that bad. Starting the game, you may be overwhelmed at first, but after loosing several characters to trial and error, the game becomes easy to understand. Gameplay wise, everything is solid. Most actions use dice to determine the result, and I see that some people aren't okay with that. But the game has plenty of options to increase your chances of success and suggests the most fitting characters for that. It's not completely random, and you can lower the chances of failure to less than 10%, and so far I haven't encountered the XCOM style "95% to hit". Things go wrong, but at an expected rate. It's fun to assemble teams for each mission, try to get optimal characters, keep getting slaves to improve the camp. There isn't that much sexual content compared to a lot of other games. At most you get a loosely related picture and either a couple of paragraphs or a couple of sentences of text. Not that much, but, at the same time, it's enough, because you and your slavers regularly interact with slaves. I came for porn, I stayed for tycoon. And I only wish that I could do more tycoon stuff. Your camp always stays a camp. Lorewise, it's reasonable, with the empire considering you an outlaw. But I still wish I could make an actual slaver fortress. Fortifications, supply and assembly lines, all that good stuff. Now for the problems. The main problem this game suffers from is the engine. Yes, you can get used to UI and navigation, but after a while you notice more and more often that RAGS was a bad choice. The pop-up window with choice selection is the biggest hindrance: it locks out absolutely everything else. If whatever you're trying to do has a large wall of text for description, you sometimes end up not being able to read the first part of it, because you can't scroll the textbox up. I don't mind skipping lore and fluff, but you can easily miss mission rewards and preferable traits. I know I can resize the panels and try to optimize this whole thing, but I don't feel like I should. The experience values shown at the very bottom of the game window can't even be adjusted, and they clip out of the window boundaries in less than 30 minutes after starting a new character. This game desperately needs a new engine, and it needs it more than new content or anything else. It's a game that requires you to have patience to progress, and all the small things that RAGS does chip away from that patience. Even a small thing like icons for traits instead of three letter abbreviations would help a lot ("oh, does this character have Strong (Str) or Stubborn (Stb) trait?"). Looking at Patreon posts, the engine conversion is in progress, and, although I don't think Twine is a good choice, it would be hundred times better than what we have now.
So what we`ve got? Let`s start with creepy interface that holding all in the one - system messages with just a massive bunch of information that your eyes get tired of reading on the left side, random sex pic on the right side, some menu and list of the slavers in the down of window. Mmm nice. Problem is that there`s no category for information so i could skip the parts that i don`t need to know (what`s my slavers did in the camp, for example. Because it`s always the same), it`s just one bunch of text that after a hour of game genering is very slow. About sex - you can forget about it. All we have from sex is random porn cartoon pics when you interracting with your slavers and some of text about oral when your slavers using your slaves. I don`t mind it, but it seems just... Silly. But don`t forget that it`s a game you play in... Or not. You can create a character and options is good enough for me (many of races, traits, etc), but what the point if all what i can do with my char is sending him to the tavern (to get a random event) and to the mission as a common slaver. He is just not a special by himself and it`s would be not a problem if i could control him by, for example, training. Also you have a troop of slavers but your control over them is the same nominal. All their acting is about missions that you send them on to wait for the result that doesn`t depend on your choices because the whole game is about dice. Once time i sended a troop so game showed a chance to fail the mission -10. Technically i had 100% chance to win... But nope. It was fail. And you cannot do anything with it. More than that - you cannot do anything with your slavers and slaves (out of training slaves, and enslaving slavers). You cannot just throw them out and find a new members, you need a damn special missions for it that you of course will lose because your chance to win is just a 60% and obviously it`s not enough. And of course you cannot train your char and your members to make them better before to send 'em to the mission they will fail because they`re not lucky or trained enough. Nice. All the game about dice. If you`re lucky - you will see how "your" troop will raise. But if not - you will just watch how things are getting worse and worse without a chance to improve it by your own skill. Now in short: -after a hour of playing, game start genering the messages very slow -interface is too congested -Player don`t have enough control on his own character and his troop -Everything is decided by random (dice) Oh, yeah. Modders, stop deleting my damn reviews, your opinion just unconstructive.
This game quite clearly biting far to much not only can it not chew it choking itself and the mods attached to it. really it ok for what it is and has potential (though I tried this game 3x with each hope by now better but all they keep seemingly doing is reaching for more without finishing what they have at times even barely taking a bite and others stopping just before the frosting) You make little choices game makes most and deny you from making choices... in a slave master sex game like what... No you can't dismiss this random slaver or slave we gave you that you never wanted in first place but maybe later you can roll the dice to try and get rid of them/enslave them without making things worse O and don't worry the dice mod won't effect this and is also broken with Say yes slavers will love telling you no. Sex pics are on character examinations... like least crop it would be nice and hell due to above makes it worse like O you love sex so much it in your pic cool o wait then why you say no to me 10x no matter the way I go about it... Sex pics are also 100% random The sex talk what would save the sex pics being random is bare minimum repetitive and incredibly limited info harahcda whoisthisagain just enjoyed oral with youknow thatoneperson ... o stimulating and umm ya them ummm good for them I guess.. Again shows some promise and for what it is it fine, just wish/ imo it needs to better complete what it has and fix up some bits along with making the sex a lot better as neither the pics / events / text are doing much of anything (again chewing more then finishing). 3/5 average for what it is (aka if there were as many of these types as VNs or 3d sex games I would have given this a 2/5 for below but since it uniquer it gets the +1).
This game takes rags to the extremes and not in a good way. It would easily be a 4 or a 5 if it just wasn't in rags. There is a plethora of options wich is good when the system allows for the player to easily navigate through those options but it quickly becomes a pain if taken to far. This goes way to far.
Probably one of my favourite games,with lots of content. The only issues are the fact that the game is made in RAGS,and a bit repetitive writing when it comes to sex scenes and training.There are tons of different quests and lots of options during character creation
Tl;Dr: This is a fantastic game that outgrew its engine by a long shot. I'd recommend waiting for the twine port, because playing this game on RAGS means that finding a game breaking bug won't be an if, but a when. Should you choose to play the game anyway, be sure to save frequently, and be absolutely sure not to save or load when the continue button is red, as described in the intro to the game. Don't try to hoard a large harem of slaves or army of slavers, I've found that once you get into about the 40s on the character count weird things start to happen-- characters disappearing, characters being overwritten by newcomers (including slaves being overwritten by slavers), etc. If you have a bunch of fodder lying around, you might just find that one perfect slave you finally captured will be bugged out of existence. Technical difficulties aside, the game is fantastic. The amount of content in terms of varieties of characters, missions, and choices of what to do with those characters and missions is astounding for an adult game. However, the sheer volume of flavor text, combined with its relatively limited variety, means that some of the more common events will definitely become repetitive. The training options are also relatively limited compared to other games in the genre. It's pretty straightforward, moving from basic to advanced obedience and then in to one of a few specializations that don't actually make a very significant difference. There is massive replay value in the different possible playstyles, with multiple routes to dominance and even submission for the player. This variety definitely helps with the fact that long games are likely to get broken by a bug at some point. I'll say it again, this is a fantastic game. But wait for the Twine version. I don't think Twine is going to be anywhere near capable enough to handle a game like this either, but it should at least be a lot more playable than the current RAGS version.
