About One Night in Badger City
One Night in Badger City is an adult Ren'Py adventure by BudBoi, presented with 3DCG artwork and point-and-click sandbox play. The premise centers on a virus that has overtaken Badger City, turning most inhabitants into cannibals. Survivors, described as mostly women, must uncover the truth behind the outbreak while confronting horror, parody, and open-ended exploration.
The current build is the Prologue, released June 29, 2023, and development is ongoing rather than complete. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog says the Prologue is a remake of the original with fewer parody elements. Earlier updates added a main quest, an unlockable side quest, supply hunting, and a re-rendered intro, with some bugs noted. The release notes also mention a rushed update.
Developer's description
A virus has taken over the peaceful town of Badger City. With most of its inhabitants turned into cannibals, it's up to the survivors (luckily, mostly women) to uncover the truth behind the virus. Will they be able to escape the horrors that await them?
