Origin Story is a Ren'Py visual novel by JDOR with 3DCG art. It is set twenty years after the Metagen-92 virus, the Superflu, gave many adults powers or mutations. You play a customizable nineteen-year-old male protagonist whose meta ability has not shown, leaving him mocked at school with only a few misfit friends. His parents died as a baby, and Parker Samson, co-owner of the Metagen research firm behind the failed vaccine, raised him. After moving in with Parker and her daughter Riley, a violent attack brings The Sisterhood, government-backed celebrity superheroines, into his life. They recognize his worth, pulling him into school, harem relationships, and a secret that may make him a hero or villain.
The current build is Season 2 v10.0.1, released September 13, 2026, with development ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog entry, Chapter 10, added 2341 renders, over 71,000 words, 110 special renders to the gallery, six new unlockable scenes, and grammar and spelling fixes from Chapter 9.

Taking place twenty years after the Metagen-92 virus – aka the “Superflu” – has swept the world and rendered many of its adult population superpowered or mutated, Origin Story follows MC (name customizable), a seemingly normal nineteen-year-old who in any other universe would be a popular and attractive prospect for most girls. But in this universe, his ability hasn't manifested yet. Shunned by most of his meta-gifted peers, MC finds himself a hapless virgin on the lower rung of his school's social ladder, with only a few misfit friends by his side.

Following the death of his parents when he was just a baby, his upbringing in the system was overseen and financially supported by their close friend Parker Samson, the affluent and influential co-owner of the lead organization behind Metagen research and development of the now ineffective Metagen Vaccine. Having recently moved in with the beautiful Parker, and her equally beautiful daughter Riley, MC finds the perpetual state of arousal that comes with the burden of his virginity even more challenging.
When MC is targeted and violently attacked for reasons unknown to him, The Sisterhood – a government-backed team of celebrity superheroines and sex icons - comes to his aid. While under their care, The Sisterhood immediately recognize his worth and hidden charms.
MC soon finds himself juggling his school life, his suddenly blossoming relationships with the women he keeps close, his curious involvement with The Sisterhood and one big secret that could determine whether this is the origin story of a hero, or a villain.

Further bugfix to issue with incorrect dialogue when looking for "had sex with Emerald" variable. For anyone with an existing save, pre-CH4 menu will ask you to confirm if you slept with Emerald. Anyone starting from fresh will not have this issue.
Bugfix to rectify correct variable not being set when rimming Moonsong. Existing saves may recieve options to rim other LIs in future events, even if opted out of rimming (giving) content. Once opted out again this will no longer occur. Anyone starting from fresh will not have this issue.
