Ovidius is a choice-driven adult visual novel by Nar_OBL/Narrator Studios, built with Ren'Py and presented with animated 3DCG artwork. It is set in a Roman-inspired empire of political intrigue, forbidden passion, and betrayal. You play as a general caught between love for the Princess and the dangerous ambitions of her brother, the Prince. The game blends romance, sandbox play, and turn-based combat, letting decisions shape alliances, survival, and Rome's future.
The current build is Act III P3, released on January 17, 2026, for Windows, Mac, and Linux. It is in English and uncensored, with development still ongoing. This update adds sixteen animations and 652 images, fixes reviewed bugs and errors, and uses AI for some new animations and enhanced renders. Because later-game errors occurred, players must start the game again from the beginning. The full project currently contains 98 hot animations, 1,672 static images, and 2,113 dialogue lines.
