You are almost out of money and need a place to sleep. A late-night ad promises steady pay, meals, and a room at the Pink Salt Hotel. By the next morning, one phone call has made you its new assistant manager. There is one problem: the hotel manager never agreed to hire you—and none of the women living and working there were told you were coming.
