Plant Girls: Insect Invasion is an adult strategy game from Hotaru Pixie Games, built with the Others engine. It uses an animated 2D style and a tower defense setup, where you manage battles between Plant Girls and Cyborg Insects. The story is set in Detroite, a former empire city left in ruin after a man-made collapse. You play a male protagonist whose creations turned against him, and must respond to the threat in a dystopian world.
The current build is v1.00, released February 28, 2025, and it is a full release rather than a demo. It is available on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android in English, and is uncensored. The latest changelog details a new Dense Forest map, new enemies and bosses including the Snail, Termites, and Termite Queen, a Giant Tree Girl character, and added levels.
