Pokemon Entrancing Wishes

i went in for the porn but got hooks by alot of intresting design choices. seeing them slowly change lots of things in this game has been super intresting. im suprised that ive watch this grow into probably my 2nd fav pokemon romhack or if you count it as just a fan game as my favorite of those. most of the time i just button mash diolog un pokemon games but this one had some intresting points that had me sitting and reading intently. and when i fell into my button mash habits the quest log actuly was helpful unlike alot of them ive seen. over all they shanced/new pokemon seem fun and actuly balanced and them giving the balancing decision to you means you can just crank up the xp if you find a level 15 you wana try out and your mons are in the 60s. i got my level 20s into condition to being on the team in under 3 minutes so ill always praise that. the few complaints i have are some of the towns they have changed are hard to navigate efficiently. the worst being the ttown with mistys gym (im awful with the names) alot of the water should be surf able to make getting around it way less tedius later. some of the buildings insides are way to big for how little is in there making you do long laps to check the place. but thats just persinal prefrence at that point on area design. over all top teir pokemon game and great job by the devs. sorry for how awful this is to read. im shit at typeing.

Prefacing this with: I am wordy, I like to write overly verbose reviews. As such, TL;DR: Game is fun as a Pokemon game, lame as a porn game, overall better than most Pokemon porn games in terms of being an actual game. (which kinda seems to be the general consensus) The game is decently fun, but it certainly has some glaring flaws that make it hard to fully enjoy it. Spelling, grammar, and capitalization are something I'll always be somewhat of a stickler on, especially in games as text-focused as a not so legally distinct monster catching game. As such, it immensely bothers me and perpetually takes me out of the game that capitalization is incredibly inconsistent, even on a single character's name. The spelling and grammar are also rather sub-par, though there were at least only one or two major instances where I couldn't even tell what it was supposed to be saying, so it's better than some other Pokemon fan games I've seen in the past in that regard. As a Pokemon game, it mostly succeeds pretty well. The level curve at the very start is kinda rough and forced me to do a lot of grinding on low level Pokemon just to get past one of the first story fights. While I am an avid rpg fan and do quite enjoy grinding in some cases, grinding on level 4-6 Pokemon until I can finally get my team to at least level 14 to remotely stand a chance is not one of them. Aside from that one major problem, the balancing of the game mostly makes sense outside of failing to explain some of its unique mechanics it introduces. Not really sure what segment to put this thought in, so I'm just cramming it here: the art style is really jarring. The black characters have faces that look whiter than the white characters, the occasional sudden shift from 2d art to 3d animation is bizarre, and cum being represented with a cartoon condiment splash instead of anything remotely like cum is kinda off-putting. My biggest problem with Entrancing Wishes, however, is that it sometimes will actively punish you for not engaging with specific content you don't like. I'm personally not a huge fan of bimbo content, but refusing to engage with it in the game led to me having less resources to work with, which was rather frustrating once I realized that was why I didn't have the resources I needed. Most of this review has been negative so far, but I still do think the game is pretty good, its flaws are just way easier to talk about than what it does right. Most of what Entrancing Wishes does right is as a Pokemon game more than as a porn game, and I can absolutely respect putting more effort into the actual game than the porn. Sure the collision is a little buggy here and there, and one or two loading zones don't work properly, but I've definitely played, and even enjoyed worse! Some of its unique ideas (such as the hybrids) are actually pretty interesting and are well implemented into both gameplay and story, and it's always a plus when the dev can manage that fluidly. My only real complaint with the hybrid concept is that I wish it was better utilized. Entrancing Wishes is a rather fun Pokemon game, a rather boring porn game, but overall a decently fun experience if you can overlook the worst of its issues.

I have played the game for about 11 hours and these are my impressions. As the other reviews say, in terms of a Pokemon game, Entrancing Wishes excels in this. The gameplay doesn't stray too much from the Pokemon formula and that's a good thing. It includes Terastalizing, Megas and gigantimax (as far as I saw) so that adds fun strategic opportunities in battles. For me, the writing and story are where it shines. You play as the son of a petty criminal on their latest scheme wherein you become Champion and then sell snake oil to get rich. What seems cut and dry at first gets complicated as powers beyond your understanding changes both you and the world around you. The characters are written well with Mela being my BFF. What's really compelling are the choices that actually affect the story; you can be a good guy, a bad guy, or a kind of anti-hero that makes the major good choices but isn't above using your powers for fun. Now, while the more SFW elements are great, the H-scenes are where it stumbles. I have no issue with changing them from hand-drawn to 3D Koikatsu(models) and the situations are creative but they're only A SINGLE PICTURE! No animation and not even multiple pictures. For example, when you're at the casino there's a scene where you hypnotize someone and play poker. The kicker is that the chips go up her cooch and as she continues to win, more go up there. She trembles and shakes, trying to keep it together until she wins and they all come spilling out. The only visual is her holding the cards topless while this is all described. If they remake or add to the scenes to make them more animated or engaging, it could make this game top-tier.

all of this review is my personal opinion and is meant in good faith, if i am rude i do not mean to be. Great as a pokemon game, subpar as a porn game This is one of the best pokemon games i have ever played, with a great plot, a great concept, and a lot of good things that i cant get into without minor to major spoilers. the rival and other characters feel well done, and it feels and plays well in game. however, at least in my opinion, the porn is not that good. i personally dont like the graphics too much and the porn can be pretty spread out, though the writing and text is still pretty good. overall, i think its a great game.

A great Pokemon game. If you loved the original Pokemon games like Gen 4 and 5, you'll love this game. It has many pokemon and characters included, all the way up to generation 9, with a lot of love put throughout the entire game and wonderful game design. As of V5.70, if you approach it as a real Pokemon game like you would playing a popular pokemon Romhack, you will have a wonderful time playing a genuinely awesome game. The balance is very well thought, too. The H-content is a bit lackluster but the gameplay and balance makes up for it. Great experience and great video game.

Very thoughtful balancing like when you get pokemon, capping levels, scaling levels, catch rates, costs of items especially access to specific pokeballs it honestly felt more fun and smooth to play than the main line games. Sure it's got a lot of basic kanto maps, but there has been a lot of work put in to custom maps, custom pokemon with broken power up moves, fun side quests, quality of life improvements like the HM being usable from the bag, and audino level up outside gyms. The hypnotizing has potential, but I wish the creator would take more shortcuts in this area since the game is already fun to play without the porn so use AI generators or commission artists on fivver or something simple/quick/cheap. As the game gets fleshed out then add some options with every trainer you defeat not just scenes in the manor or gyms. I was having so much fun I caught 151 pokemon, and built 3 teams. Keep up the great work!

Loving the game so far great story with the Hybrids and taking over a manor with the maids I do wish that when we unlock the teleport ability it would function as the fly HM to make getting back to previous towns for sidequest easier also the ability to catch some of the hybrid pokemon so we can complete the Pokedex but other then that one of the funniest rom hacks I have played in a long time so 4/5 STARS great work

Love the transformations and theming in this game. Turn people into pokemon and catch them, or just hypnotize normal people. Waiting until the overarching plot comes to fruition with your rival or your own "trainer".

[made during 5.07] [Sorry for my bad english, not my native language] very good, the pokemon part is good with lots of QOL and the changes in the history made me really interested in it, and just make the game unique in the pokemon scene. the nsfw was good, but could be a little better in my opinion. In general i liked the game, a 7/10 because the game isnt finished and has some bugs, but has a lot of potential. I really liked the story, and the branches that can be made sure makes me really anxious to the next updates, with more content my score can surely change

For the moment, the game is worth a 3/5 from my side, and it's not a bad rating (a bad rating would be more like 1 or 2) and this game is worth playing in its current demo. The faults that I am going to cite are personal and only my responsibility. Sorry if my English isn't perfect, English isn't my native language. I finished the demo, it was nice though, I admit that I'm not a huge fan of stories where other hypnotists do their thing before you. I'm not a big fan of H scenes either, the artistic style isn't really what I like however, I recognize that it's complicated to create graphics on Rpg maker, so I don't really hold it against that . A few small bugs but nothing too bad, however, the big strong point of the game is in its diversity of hypnosis and the different behaviors, I admit that this gives ideas on several points and makes the situations rather interesting. The idea of the mansion is also excellent, a hub where you can find different people you met during the trip is something that allows you to refocus all the mess on one place instead of having to make 1000 round trips. So the 3/5 comes mainly from the graphic style and perhaps from a scenario which is not in my genre, however I repeat, 3/5 is not a bad mark and clearly the game is worth be played, compared to certains others games in the mind control category, so I think I would pick this game up again when it is finished but the demo shows that the game has real potential and surely I will update my review when the time will have come.
