This review will be long as fuck and the rating can change with time. Yes, I played every single episode and got every single scene possible. Note: If you like good writing this game is a solid 1/5. I do like good writing but I'll explain my reasons for the second star in the end. Positive Aspects: Spoiler 1 - Decent writing in the start The first few episodes don't have any story but when the game starts to develop a plot it's pretty interesting and well-written. At first. 2 - Gotta catch 'em all! Unlike actual Pokémon games, here you actually have to catch all Pussymon in order to finish the episode. This gives you a reason to complete your "Pussydex" and see more sex scenes. 3 - It has animations It's one of those flash games that we've seen a lot on Newgrounds back in the day so it's a good dose of nostalgia. The animations aren't perfect and they're just a 1 second loop but it's good to have animations in a porn game. (Note that the art itself is still trash until episode 44) 4 - Taking care of your Pussymon makes you stronger Again, another thing that actual Pokémon games lack is the bond between trainer and Pokémon. In Pussymon you can level them up and/or give them love. Levels make them stronger, love makes you stronger with new bonuses. 5 - As of episode 44 the characters start to look better I know it took 44 episodes but at least it happened, I guess. They look pretty now. There's a lot to be improved but this is a good start. 6 - Bridget Her storyline has many flaws but I loved her character overall. She brings flavor to the game and is definitely my favorite character, right before Lumemonire and Anny. 7 - Episode 17 Aka the puzzles episode. Definitely the best episode of the series. Choices, lesbian scene with Lizardish and Lepllanny, puzzles. Everything about that episode is awesome. I honestly can't praise this episode enough. Negative Aspects: Spoiler 1 - The game only gets worse with time Contrary to what you would expect, the game doesn't improve as you progress through the episodes. Instead, it slowly deteriorates in terms of progression, storytelling, writing, creativity, everything. The english was good in the start but with time it gets really broken. The pacing gets really slow, the dev starts recycling content, etc. I have a lot to say about this. This is where the review gets long. 2 - Lazy storytelling One of the seven deadly sins for porn games. It seems like most devs want to create a good story but they suddenly realize that they don't have any creativity so they just use every popular plot devices they've seen in movies, games and anime. I'll delve more into this with my next points. 3 - "Oh that's convenient" The amount of convenient plot devices this game uses is astonishing. Your friend DOT can teleport you to any specific coordinates but the dev realized how dumb this idea was so every time you get stuck there's some kind of "magic" preventing you from teleporting. You could use your Pussymon to break the entrance but there's also a spell against that. Now your only option is to explore the cave that happens to be the right one and happens to have a Pussymon that happens to be able to help you. This is the quality of plot we see in children's cartoons. Also, every time you finish your mission and have the chance to progress, DOT says "Oh no, Master Oswald needs you RIGHT NOW" so you go back to the Pussymon Hunter Society (I'll call it PHS from now on) and get another dumb and useless mission. I didn't mind this in the first 10 fucking times it happened, but it gets old really fast and you feel like you're walking in circles because the game doesn't want you to go forward. This brings me to my next point. 4 - The story goes nowhere and nothing is resolved Moving forward would mean having to write an actual story and the dev doesn't want that. I really hope the dev isn't just refusing to progress the story so he can milk more Patreon money every month. I am not exaggerating when I say the story doesn't take a step for 20 fucking episodes. Even when you feel like you're progressing the game just takes you back to PHS and you're stuck in the same loop again. It's been three years of development. THREE YEARS. And you're still going after the same enemy. 5 - Pussymons are forgotten right after you catch them My main issue with this game. I'll have to try really hard not to lose my composure here. Some Pussymon can speak. Cool, right? As the story "goes on" you catch many of them. They're strong and they're the only ones able to express their love for you. You know what happens after you catch them? Master Oswald sends them to the lab and you never see them again : )))) No, I'm not exaggerating. You literally never see them again. When you catch them you celebrate how your group now has a new member and the girls complain about having a new "rival" but when the new Pussymon go to the lab it's like their existence is wiped from the story. I know the PHS needs to analyze new data but 30 episodes and three years after they're still collecting data? Are you fucking serious? Repeat with me: Quality over quantity. Quality over quantity. Quality over quantity. Stop throwing a new legendary Pussymon at us almost every single episode if they're just going to the lab and we'll never see them again. "Go to the lab because using a strong Pussymon to fight and literally save the world would be a dumb idea. We need more data even though we've been collecting data for more than 40 episodes and this data never proved to be useful." 6 - No progression 99% of what you get is lost forever. New Pussymon, stats, bonuses, everything. Every new episode is like starting from scratch again. You have no new powers or abilities and everything you learn is only used once or twice in very specific situations. Why don't they buy new equipment at least? There's a blacksmith in town. Why don't they buy armor and weapons? There is absolutely no sense of progression whatsoever. 7 - The healer Take a shot every time Oswald tells Bridget that "The team needs a healer and therefore you should practice with Claire". You know what's funny? Bridget isn't a healer. She's a sorceress and wants to cast powerful spells, maybe to deal damage or debuff the enemies. You know what's even funnier? She never gets a new spell for the entire series. You know what's fucking hilarious? Her healing doesn't get better either. You know what's absolutely comedy gold? The team never needed a healer to begin with. This whole healer bullshit is yet another false sense of progression that doesn't take you anywhere. "Oh shit, I totally forgot that Bridget exists and is a major character. I think it's time for C H A R A C T E R D E V E L O P M E N T . Yeah, I'll just make her a healer that never gets better at healing so we can say she's doing something." 8 - The game streeeeeetches everything Remember how old anime used to spend entire episodes on one single minimal aspect just to stretch the story and milk more money from the viewers? Exactly. Something that could be resolved in less than one episode is suddenly stretched to five. Again, I am not exaggerating. 9 - PHS is empty and everything is your job Every new problem is your responsibility. "We need to scout an area." That's your job. "We need to capture someone." That's your job. "We need to explore this cave." That's your job. "We need to battle this enemy." That's your job. "We need someone to suck Oswald's old cock." That's probably your job. It's like you're the only person in the entire PHS who does anything. This is yet another example of lazy storytelling. Other people may be doing something but the game never mentions anything about it. Everything just feels empty and uninspired. 10 - Every Pussymon is weak, even the most powerful ones Bosses don't feel like bosses and every legendary Pussymon you capture is barely stronger that the ones you already have. It doesn't feel rewarding. 11 - "You need this person to help you" Why? Again, the PHS doesn't have one single specialist that knows how to do a certain thing? Do we always need another person? Is this the most incompetent organization in the entire universe? 12 - "But before they were able to reach her, she vanishes" Every. Single. Time. Explain to me why the fuck can a human simply vanish into thin air. I would kind of understand if it was a Pussymon because the teleport ability exists in the Pokémon universe but this doesn't make any sense. And isn't it a bit OP if someone can simply appear, steal your stuff and disappear again? Wouldn't it be literally impossible to do anything? This is peak laziness. This takes me to my next point. 13 - Every antagonist is fast and sneaky Because it's easier to write "Now you have this item, now you don't!" Now we need to play another episode to see what happens. Almost every single time. This is yet again a kind of plot we see in children's cartoons because kids would be too dumb to understand an actual fight or interesting chase scene. There's even a scene where Samara runs after the thief but nothing really happens. It's just them running around chasing each other like two stray dogs. LMAO is this Looney Tunes? Are you kidding me? The antagonists are always the same. They never send a strong nemesis or a skilled witch. It's always a fast and sneaky piece of shit doing exactly what the previous one did. 14 - It takes 36 episodes for the team to realize that they should be careful not to be followed Every time they did anything someone appeared and stole what little progress they made. Even though they just lost the Pussymon with the power to literally destroy humanity, they take no precautions not to be followed again. And guess what? It happens again. And yes, only after 36 episodes they realize that maybe, just maybe , they should be careful. 15 - Important battles are anticlimactic They're just the same as every other Pussymon you've battled before. Bosses don't even have different moves. It's just the same battle and you never feel accomplished. If your Pussymon is strong enough you can literally defeat every boss by just clicking in the same ability repeatedly. 16 - "You need to make your Pussymon stronger" (SPOILER ALERT, they don't get stronger) The game just tells you to do the same thing you've already done before. Spend some time with your Pussymon and make them love you. Again. With the same Pussymon. The game doesn't even bother to use the forgotten Pussymon for this, they just use the same ones again for the same purpose. "You need to get close to them yada yada power of love" at least word it differently if you want to recycle ideas. This is bullshit. 17 - "You need help from the king" For what? LMAO the game is so used to telling you that you need help from someone that this time it forgot to even say the reason why. The king can't do shit and you could've easily done the same thing without his help, but whatever, we need more episodes *wink wink*. 18 - Repetitive gameplay You must've realized by now how repetitive this game is, but I need to make it clear that I am not exaggerating when I say that this is the same game over and over again. Even the assets are the same for every episode. The houses, structures, plants, icons, everything is the same. If you close your eyes you're battling the same enemy but with different numbers. They have no abilities or traits, just a normal attack and that's it. It's like playing Pokémon but every Pokémon only has "tackle". You do the same thing for the same reasons and not even the outcome is different. You just got from point A to point B. 19 - Pussymon caring is repetitive too It's just "Get [amount] and unlock next scene". It's not even worth it in the end because the scene is just a 1 second loop and the difference between anal and vaginal is just the position of the protagonist. You spend more time acquiring the [amount] than actually enjoying your reward. 20 - Isn't even close to a Pokémon game If you're after a Pokémon game, keep looking. It doesn't feel like Pokémon. Even though the game has some aspects that I wish Pokémon had, I barely remember that I'm playing a Pokémon parody. 21 - Linear storyline Unlike what you usually expect from a porn game, the story is completely linear. There are no choices whatsoever and the only episode with different endings is just five or six lines of different dialogue. The episode is nice and the implementation of choices is always welcome, but it doesn't matter since the dev completely abandoned that idea. 22 - "Grrrrrr!" Every non-talking Pussymon only speaks with "Grrrrrr!" if you don't have the creativity to give them unique lines, at least choose something that doesn't remind us of a dog. 23 - Story makes no sense and reads like a bad fanfiction "We need to talk to her" "Oh, she's asleep right now" *talks for a bit* "Is she awake now?" "Oh, it seems she is" but how would you know that she's awake if she's in the other room? This is a classic mistake on bad fanfictions. Omniscient characters. And no, this isn't nitpicking. It breaks the immersion (if this game ever had any immersion to begin with). This just sounds dumb and low-effort. 24 - Gaining a Pussymon's heart is just as repetitive as you would expect Sometimes the game says you need to make a Pussymon fall in love with you in order to advance. There's no quest for that or even any dialogue. You just use "care" and have sex with them. That's it. Now the Pussymon is in love with you. Not even some sex dialogues. Nothing. 25 - Speaking of sex dialogues Take a shot every time the protagonist says "Fuck! You're so wet and so tight..." That's all he says every single time he fucks a girl. Dirty talking 101, fellas. If you've ever had sex in your life you know that this is just cringy. There's more to talk about than how wet and tight she is. If the writing, gameplay and progression is bad, at least give us a rewarding sex scene, not this garbage. 26 - Speaking of garbage, the vacation episode After spending days running in circles with every "Master Oswald has another mission for you RIGHT NOW", I was excited to finally have a vacation episode where I just bonded with my Pussymon and enjoyed some sex scenes. I go to the hot springs with the girls and everything was going smoothly but... I was scammed. There is no vacation episode. The hot springs are cold and now you need to find the problem. Yes... You need to battle. You need to catch Pussymon and fight a boss. And no, there is no vacation scenes after that. The episode just ends. It was just a filler, and a terrible one. From this point forward I just kept playing the game out of spite, having lost all hope that it would eventually get better. 27 - The Pussymon have no personality If you want to write a story, at least give the Pussymon a personality that isn't based on sex. Lepllanny calls you master and Lizardish calls you pervert. That's it. That's their personality. The only character with an actual personality is Bridget. All the other characters are just angry or a copy/paste of each other. 28 - The game goes off-track for no reason "There's a help request from this island" That's not my fucking job. Why do I need to go there? Send someone else or ask for help. At this point the game doesn't even hide its intent of stretching the story as much as possible. 29 - Repetitive sex scenes with no fetishes Not even vanilla fetishes are present in this game. It's just foreplay, vaginal and anal. It kinda has voyeurism but that's it. It's always the same. 30 - Same jokes after 35 fucking episodes This wouldn't be a problem if they didn't drag the joke for fucking ever. "hahaha it was a dildo" We already know this one, just drop it for the love of god. Every comedy relief scene has the same jokes over and over again. At least try something different even if it sucks. This joke stopped being funny 20 episodes ago. 31 - All girls are sluts by default You don't "corrupt" them to make it feel like you're progressing towards something. This would be the ultimate sense of progression for a porn game but every girl is already corrupted (except Bridget, as I said, the only good character). 32 - Broken english Like, really broken. Almost machine translation level of broken. Most sentences have obvious mistakes and I'm not even a native English speaker. Referring to men as "her" really breaks the mood. 33 - The laughs Someone must've told the dev that the characters look artificial, so now the characters laugh, but they laugh with "hahahahahahahahahaha". Like, seriously? Why so many "ha"s? And why do they never stop laughing? "hahahahahahaha good morning" "hey hahahahaha" *talks for a bit* "hahahahahahahahaha okay, see you later" "hahahahahahahaha see ya" This doesn't look human, this is straight-up uncanny and terrifying. No one laughs like that and most laughs seem out of place. 34 - Dialogue runs in circles when talking about useless stuff but is rushed when talking about important issues If you're talking about a statue that looks like a dildo or how Joan is Edwin's bitch, the dialogue goes on for ages. If you're talking about progression, however, the game gives you five lines of dialogue and calls it a day. I don't even have the energy to talk about stretching anymore. I'm just done. 35 - Fights between characters get repetitive and the game keeps pushing Lizardish and Lepllanny hate each other, we get it. It takes almost 40 episodes for them to stop fighting on every single dialogue sequence in the game. This doesn't feel human ("hurr durr they're not human"). People don't fight like this, no matter how much they hate each other. Most dialogues until recent episodes are a mix between repetitive jokes and Lizardish fighting with Lepllanny. I just want to see them fucking each other, I don't care about their stupid fight. For fuck's sake, this is torture. Why did I decide to write this review? Why do I hate myself? 36 - The "special" episodes for Lizardish and Lepllanny Speaking of these two, remember what I said about "getting close to your Pussymon"? Exactly. A special episode was created for them. The protagonist needs to spend time alone with a character but the game doesn't even let you choose which one you want, and of course you stay with the character with the most unlikable personality of the entire roster first (Lizardish), and also the oldest of them all, even though after so many episodes we still don't have one dedicated to Lumemonire Let's ignore the fact that "you need to get closer to your Pussymon" is a recycled idea. The game says you need to "learn about them". You know what you learn about them in the end? Nothing. That's right. Nothing. The game doesn't even follow its own rules. The only thing that separates Selena from Anny is that one likes anal while the other doesn't. That's literally the only thing you "learn" about them and it's exactly what you already knew ever since the first time you met them. 37 - No character expressions Not much to say about this. They all have the same expression for every emotion and this is ugly. 38 - Asymmetry Most characters are asymmetrical. Why? 10 minutes on YouTube will teach you how to draw without making the character's face look like it's melting on one side. Sometimes the asymmetry is understandable like clothes or random stuff, but asymmetrical eyes is low-effort as fuck. 39 - Speaking of eyes Most characters look the same but with different wigs because their eyes are almost identical. There's always a pattern and they really look copy/pasted with some retouching here and there (flower girls, Claire, Emily). 40 - The protagonist My second main issue. I liked the MC more when the game had no dialogue. He's dumb and shallow when comforting girls. It's always like: Girl: "Oh no I'm so sad and I'm crying" MC: "Don't be sad, I love you" Girl: "Oh, I'm not sad anymore" The MC never knows what to say and always says the same things to every girl. And it works. He's dumb and is never prepared for anything (like having his phone stolen even though he knows Emily has visions). This was so fucking obvious. Why is he so dumb but never faces the consequences? You know the legendary Pussymon on special editions? The ones who never say who they are and where they're from? Writing something different for each of them would be too much work so the MC just asks the same fucking question every single fucking time. "Hurr durr who are you?" "Hurr durr will you make me sleep now?" Seriously, why? Playing one episode per month would be bearable but playing all of them at once is torture. It's always the same dialogue over and over again. Stop stretching content. Do something different. MC keeping secrets from the group even though Emily can fuck with their lives. I don't care if she has visions, the right course of action would be to tell everyone what was happening in a way she wouldn't find out. But the Emily storyline never goes anywhere so it doesn't make any difference, after all. Girl: "I'm here to hel--" MC: "Hurr durr what about that mask? Are you trying to scare people? Hurr durr" I swear to god the protagonist actually has autism. MC: "You're gorgeous, and Yummy" HAHA GET IT? BECAUSE HER NAME IS YUMI *WHEEEEEZE* This is the game where making creepy comments about the girls will get you laid. They literally just talked about how they have a spy among them, and the protagonist is like "Why don't you tell me this really important and crucial information right here in front of everyone ?" 41 - Samara Everything is wrong with her inclusion in the story. Samara convinces the protagonist with "Talk no Jutsu" every time. The world is full of skilled hunters but Samara is fast and stealthy so I guess we can't do anything, right? An entire organization can't deal with a single Pussymon. MC: "She's not an usual foe" (talking about Samara) She just steals Pussyballs and pulls pranks on people, what the fuck are you talking about? This almost sounds like the meme "That's gotta be the best pirate I've ever seen". MC: "She can be defeated and I'm gonna make sure to put her in her place once I have the chance" Someone: "Why not now?" MC: "Because she can be a strong ally" How is she strong? She's just fast and sneaky, and you just said you can defeat her anytime you want so what's the purpose? If she's weaker than you, what's her value for the team? She's just using you to get what she wants (SPOILER ALERT, she actually does). Samara: "I already have my master and I'm doing this for him" Yeah I guess we can trust her, right? They put a device on Samara and she says "I'm gonna find a way to take it out anyways" (loud and clear) The MC says "What?" and she says "Nothing". Protagonist's mind: "Oh, she said 'nothing' so it must have really been my imagination. How could I distrust such a valuable friend?" After Samara is banished and "forced" to help the PHS, she says "According to my Master, Alana is trying to..." WAIT WAIT WAIT, your master banished you AFTER giving you information about the enemy? Is this a joke? We've reached fanfic levels never registered before. PLOT TWIST: Samara betrays them. Who would have thought? It's funny when the protagonist says "We trusted you" although Samara did everything to show that she can't be trusted, even after she had a device on her. Nitpicking section: Things that may or may not bother you. Spoiler 1 - Grindy without cheats Just use the cheats, honestly. Don't even try to play without them. 2 - Water levels They're weird. The size and spacing of the spots are really clunky and all areas look the same. 3 - "Special Edition" is the same thing over and over again Doesn't matter if you're not paying for it, I guess. 4 - Pussymon names They get really dumb with time, like "Rocky" for a rock Pussymon and "Icy" for an ice Pussymon. 5 - Pussymon sizes are inconsistent If a Pussymon is small or large, for example, most of the time the animation just looks like an average human proportion, not reflecting their actual size. 6 - Claire suddenly expresses emotions She changes completely for no reason. She starts talking a lot, wanting respect as the princess, hugging the protagonist, like, what? I played every episode. What did I miss here? Exactly. I didn't miss anything. The dev just decided that he wanted to change an entire character's personality out of nowhere. 7 - Movement Difficult to move around without teleporting but the teleport can only send you to few specific places so it doesn't matter. It's clunky. You'll spend a lot of time using the "run" action because there is no repel in the game. 8 - Easter eggs Not every episode has easter eggs but it doesn't tell you if it has. This wouldn't matter if the "easter eggs" didn't mean anything for the overall plot. For something to be considered an easter egg it needs to be completely disconnected from the main story, but as you can guess, that's not how easter eggs work in this game. Things never mentioned before suddenly become relevant and important in subsequent episodes because guess what? It was an easter egg on a previous episode and you missed it. Now you'll have to search the internet if you care enough (or if you're a completionist like me) but not every easter egg can be found online so... 9 - The art looks like tracing If you don't know what "tracing" is: trac·ing (trā′sĭng) n. 1. A reproduction made by superimposing a transparent sheet and copying the lines of the original on it. Basically, drawing lines on top of something else. This is just a theory but I'm 90% certain that the dev is taking porn pictures (like, real porn of real people) and drawing on top of them. That's why the Pussymon look so uncanny and the poses are repetitive. Anyone who's ever traced over a human before will recognize many hints that the art in this game was traced over something else or at least crudely copied. Veredict: One star because of episode 17 and another one because of Bridget/Val. This rating can change with time. If the dev merges all episodes together and reworks all art/dialogues/progression this rating can change to 4/5. If he also rework the combat and caring system, easy 5/5. This wouldn't be difficult considering how little dialogue the game has. In conclusion, don't play this. It's a waste of time and equivalent to torture for anyone who enjoys good writing and/or art. Avoid this game like the plague unless the dev decides to rework things with a bit more effort, which in unlikely given how it's been three years of no progress or hints that the dev is even aware of how terrible this game is.
