Reanimated Heart is a character-driven horror romance visual novel about finding love in a mysterious small town. In a unique setting inspired by pulp horror, the player has to figure out how to build a life from scratch in a strange dimension where the sun never rises and supernatural creatures live freely. There are three mysterious love interests with their own distinct storylines and secrets to uncover, each of their routes contributing their own perspective to the wider story.

I really enjoy non-AI 2D art, the character sprites are absolutely awesome. The backgrounds are equally impressive and complement the overall ethereal and dark vibe of the story perfectly. Speaking of the story, I find the dark fantasy setting to be both great and intriguing. Even though creatures and supernatural beings freely roam this world, the author treats them as completely mundane and ordinary parts of society, they're just there, living their lives like any normal person. I really appreciate that. The dialogue feels natural and believable; each character's lines is distinct and consistent, which makes their interactions feel genuine. Despite the world being quite different from ours, there's no awkward "exposition dump." Everything is smoothly revealed through normal dialogue between characters, so nothing feels forced. Now that I’m done with the flowers, here’s the pot. I may be the only one, but I can't quite shake this feeling. I feel misled by the "lesbian" tag. The three love interests are all men. The only character who is design for people like me is a psychopathic, cold-blooded killer (who want to kill you btw) who can somehow transform into a woman. This has made me lose complete interest. As much as I like the story, if my only love interests are men, I don't see the point in playing it.
