Reversi of Temptation

Just did a review on the all the (current) games from this Circle Group! (the others are actually all, (even the very 1st arguably), better than this one) Review + Files for all the games in my blog post here: [Link to the Blog Post] In the meanwhile, a Quickview for this entry from them: 14 th = 3.5 Mistakes were made. Truly. While I might've been curious about trying Reversi out, really didn't think it would work in an H-game. And I, apparently, was right. Game's pathetically short, there's extremely few scenes (at least they are animated...), there's literally a lazy-ass minigame just to earn back the Money you'll lose if you want to experience anything close to hot scenes.... Even if you play with "Show Best move" turned on (Mandatory if you actually want to focus on the H aspect of the game, cuz fuck if I can see why would you care about the Reversi aspect of it), it's still pretty damn basic either way. Takes a while to get all the scenes from each character, since you need multiple matches per each of the 3 (yes, only 3) of them. Indeed, it's actually the cheapest game from this Dev, including their 1st game. In all realness, this was just a game released in the meanwhile as the Circle was focused on making their 15th game (their Magnum Opus), and it was quite blatant with how small the game was. Even if you have the funds for it.... I'd rather just save them up if I were you. For just twice its price, you can get, at the cheapest, the 6th game, which is leagues above this one by comparison. Funny small bit of info: from how they temporarily named the folder of their newest in-development game (download their demo from Ci-En to see), although it would be the 16th game counting this game, they instead named it "15th", meaning even the Circle doesn't see this game as a "Full Game". Take that info however you wish. While I really enjoy the take on femdom here, I really cannot recoomend this game from a gaming perspective. The bugs mentioned in qazads review are still prevalent, and while you can skip past one of them with the z key it will keep popping up over and over ruining any immersion. I did enjoy the dirty talk, seduction and the 2 animations each girl has. The first two girls that is, the third one uses magic to hurt and hinder you and is therefore nothing but annoying. I rated it two stars because *if* you are into the fetish you basically get a 3 scenes (first fight first girl, future fights first girl and fighting second girl) that are hot in their way even though they are lackluster. PS: If you still want to play it know that the first game is scripted and more like vn. if that annoys you, you can skip through it by spam clicking + holding down strg

Translation: The game is self translated by the developer and it SUCKS! most menus and stats are not translated and I have little understanding of what most of it says or does. I can only guestimate. If this had been a fan-made mtl, then that would suck but ultimately not affect the rating. This one is official though and will be rated as such. Bugs: There are several bugs present in the game, I encountered two. 1. If i enter the option menu ingame and have the cursor pass over "best move, game crashes. You will have to deliberately avoid this text with your cursor should you venture into the options menu. 2. At some point after being forced to cum, occationally the game will give an error that it can't find sound file %34%24%31.ogg or something like that. While annoying, you can forcefully continue by pressing the z or x buttons (or it's alternatives). This may also force you to place a piece while at it, so be mindful where you park your cursor. This error will also reoccur every few seconds until you close and restart the game. Continuing on until you can save will be a massive pain and crush what little fun reversi could have held. Having dabbled with translator++, my guess is that both of these errors are due to botching the translation. It is very likely that you would get the same result minus the bugs if you simply ran it through the translator yourself while being mindful not to translate the code. Doing this would also leave most of the buttons/stats untranslated, so I'm not impressed with the "official" mtl. Gameplay: Reversi with some strange/annoying mechanics that will attempt to forcefully place the pieces for you, this can be turned off in the settings however (beware the setting bug). The girls will jack you off as you play and talk dirty. If that's your thing, then thats your thing. But that is ALL THERE IS! No stripping, no nothing. At the very least I didn't encounter anything else after winning many times and gaining 30k points/cash (what do i even use this for? Theres no shop or talk option, translation isn't any help either.) You can also play some clicking minigame to earn more points/cash. Maybe I missed something, who knows. If you find anything more in this game then I suppose you could write a guide on how to unlock these elusive secrets. Art: Standing pictures look nice, but that's all you'll ever see... unless you count your own censored dick. Each to their own though... Conclusion: You would be better off just playing some random online reversi while looking at some porn pics of whatever you fancy. 1/5
