Roman Alchemist
About Roman Alchemist
Roman Alchemist is a text-based adventure by The Emperor King, made with Twine and delivered as HTML. You play an IT worker for the American Ministry of Defence who is close to losing his job. After finding a way out of that trouble, he ends up before Rome's gates in 31 BC, also called Ab urbe condita 732. The story mixes fantasy, management, and sandbox choices, asking whether he becomes remembered or fades into background detail.
The current build is v0.4, dated October 17, 2023, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Linux, Mac, and Android, in English, with no censorship. This update revised character notes with an EoC sign, extended story events through Day 60, and added home and work events. It also introduced a customizable avatar, help page, inventory and relationship pages, plus three outfits each for Relia and Kira.

However, you come across a solution and use it to avoid the situation, ending up at the gates of the Roman Empire in 31 BC , commonly referred to as "Ab urbe condita 732". What will your journey entail? Will it be enjoyable? Will you go down in history as a significant figure or just a minor mention?
