Finally removed the false choice regarding whether Brigitte will accept Siobhan’s offer to try training. Added some more choices to Siobhan’s training scenes. I might have bitten off more than I could chew with this one. As it is, this is a very simple game, but it does allow Esther to increase her fighting stats. Although on the surface the premise suggests that it is a simple remake of the Prince and the Pauper, the reality is that this just another ridiculous, FMC corruption VN. The father making his teenage daughters prostitutes (classy move) early on is a major clue to the direction it heads in. Once the story gets going in chapter three, the reality is you being actively involved in 'training' (brainwashing) the Princess and the Pauper to be whores through 'not-choices'. One for the state spy program and one for a weird, perverted kidnapper; then convincing them they want it and that they enjoy it. There's no option for you to refuse for the FMC's, you can only slow it down until the next scene, then it automatically happens anyway and forced scenes follow. There's no empathy for the two FMC's and what is being done to them, for some reason, every character thinks it's a great idea and that it 'broadens them'. WTF!!! If the two leads were male characters, this would never happen. This could have been a good VN underneath, as the art although basic is enjoyable but the dev is so obsessed with corruption they half assed everything, so the story gets forgotten about and what's there just doesn't make sense. The switch from princess to pauper is done in the most ridiculous way - why would she just walk out of the gate like a complete idiot with no explanation and no one notices because she has a hat on her head. She's the second most important person in the country and soon too be heir, as the king is old, yet no one recognises her at any time. Oh, come on? And in what world would the spymaster just leave the crown princess with her kidnappers to teach her a lesson? Yep, because in this VN, forced sexual corruption is normal for a terrified, kidnapped teenage girl and it will make them a better ruler when they become queen. It's a normal part of everyone's education, she needs to experience this to get her to understand the problems of being poor. WTF!!!!!!!!!!!! Annoying, tiresome and stupid.

Found this already at v0.14 and played the whole thing in like 3 (long) evenings, had an absolute blast, there's a lot of content here already. Absolutely love the game, esp. the exhibitionism/nude in public/sexy clothing in public content, CRAVE for more now lol... Fun story, actual world building, character development... all in all, it's shockingly good compared to 99% of the crap im used to play here The only negative, once you hit the end of the (decently sized) content currently available, you're in for a long wait till the next update... /sadpanda

Okay wow, this game really surprised me. I had been sleeping on it, but I binged the whole thing over the last couple of nights and now I’m completely hooked. I went in expecting a typical “adult visual novel” with a thin plot holding a few scenes together, but Royal Switch actually has a story. Real character development, immersive world-building, and a narrative that pulled me in far more than I expected. The game takes the classic Prince and the Pauper concept and flips it with two badass female leads, diving deep into corruption, intrigue, and slow-burn tension. It’s a visual novel, so yes, there’s a lot of reading, but the story is absolutely worth it. It keeps the familiar Prince and the Pauper vibe while adding a far more adult and intricate twist, making me genuinely invested in where these characters’ paths would go. Both Princess Brigitte and peasant Esther feel like fully realized characters, each with flaws, agency, and very different personalities. One is learning how to wield power, the other is learning humility, and watching both paths unfold, and sometimes collide, is endlessly fascinating. The story can get dark, but never for misery’s sake, every twist and conflict serves a purpose. Switching between their perspectives is a joy, and seeing how they adapt to their new realities is what makes the narrative so compelling. I’m completely here for it. The writing in Royal Switch is solid, probably some of the best I’ve seen in a game like this. The dialogue never feels forced, and the pacing is surprisingly cinematic. Even the side characters feel meaningful, and I’m already picking favorites (Tristan supremacy, anyone?). The plot is a slow burn, but that’s exactly what makes it so engaging, giving you time to invest in both the characters and the world. And speaking of the world-building, wow. Elves, magic, and even a talking cat! Every element feels thoughtfully integrated, adding layers of depth without ever feeling overstuffed. What I love most is how your choices actually matter. Oh my, I cannot believe. This story drawed me totally in, captivated me completely. Playing two nights already and cant wait to go on with it. For sure one of my top 5 ever. I really forget that there wasnt much sex until now. There is, but honestly the story would be fascinating without as well to the same degree. A masterpiece in every aspect. Absolute recommendable. Edit: Played some more nights, and I have to correct myself: the more I advance in the story, the more sexy it gets. But - to me even more important - story gets more and more thrilling. Congrats, very well done!

Omg, i forget to wrote a review. The artwork is perfect, hot sexy girls and a known plot story from a old tale but DeepBauhaus make a different story with 2 very hot sexy female MC ( different story for both but so much variation about her life ) . A princess found her double and change her status. Now you decide which way the 2 girls go, I dont like ( but it is only my opinion ) that the princess get submissive ( it is a shame if the get broken but i know so much player like it a submissive girl in a game ) but i try to play not the submissive path ( or only for her own profit or her own needs in sex ) I like Esther too ( the poor double ) she make a good impression and her training as a spy / self-defence ( bodyguard for the princess perhaps too ) and much more, if i think about her girl/girl action , superb artwork. I like the sex scenes from both ( Brigitte looks very hot in the tavern as waitress ) and the background story is good too, a traitor, a killed queen ( Brigittes mother ) . The humour is good too . Some surprised in the story ( like a speaking cat ) or how Esther/Brigitte can decide what to do . I like the girl/girl scenes ( and perhaps both like girls more than men and found true love with eachother or build a harem ( but i think perhaps both one harem together without one is dominant or submissive , only love but if have some sex kinks like spanking or other, why not ). Version 0.09 Honestly, this is more like a 2.5/5 but I can't give it that. It's just meh. The models are nice, there's sexual action that's pretty decent, overall it's well coded and the choices actually seem to matter, but the story is so bland and absurd. The first issue is why did they switch? That makes absolutely zero fucking sense. That would be like Elon Musk trading places with a homeless person. Fucking what? I've replayed the beginning three times and still can't for the the life of me figure out why the princess would ever want to trade her crown in for the life of a peasant. It's not established that she's stupid as fuck, so why is she suddenly so dumb she immediately does this and then thinks the world has to bend to her will after trading places? It would be one thing if she was a simply awful person and the King found the peasant and forced this as a punishment upon the princess in order for her learn a lesson and gain some character but that's simply not the case. This isn't an Eddie Murphy movie either where they're forced to trade places based on a bet. Nope, it's just her own dumbass idea. The second issue I had was that once the story actually gets going it just becomes about ... okay, the peasant has had a rough life so let her do what she wishes as the princess and because she's so sweet everyone will love her regardless and as a result she has no adverse characters working against her. So this new chick who doesn't get formal training until a little ways in is just gonna live it up in the palace? Yup. Couldn't this have happened with the princess there and she could be trained as her double if need be? Absolutely. Why wasn't that an option? Because bad storytelling is bad storytelling. Meanwhile the princess, who from what I can gather, has been just as nice (spoiled but genuinely sweet) and she has done nothing but face adversity. Self imposed adversity granted, but adversity nonetheless. She eventually gets taken by some douche nozzle who knows who she is and is determined to make her his slave. She can't put up a fight so, check, that was fast. It's important to have goals. Then he wants to make her his sex slave. This right here. This is where I went ... "hmmm no. I refuse. This story is completely fucked and I'm not going to go with this dipshittery." Which seems completely against the the intentions of the narrator. Don't get me wrong the choices actually matter so far, which is impressive, but if you choose to resist (which I did, every time) you get nothing from it. Just a scene of her being either humiliated right there on the spot or humiliated in public. And at no point does she try to simply kill this fuck. Even though she's had about a dozen chances. She simply takes it. No matter what. And there's absolutely no other opportunities for her to get naughty with anyone else other than this asshat. And he's just so lame. Written like a school bully who never got knocked the fuck out. It was so disappointing I found myself not caring what happened to either the princess or the peasant. The only bit of interesting intrigue was with the King near the end. In the end the sexual action that does happen is just alright and the actual action is practically nonexistent. This is a (boring) story heavy VN with pretty models and interesting settings. There are even some well written characters, Jonquil (? seriously stop with the fancy typefaces) is particularly intriguing but outside of that, the main story drags this whole VN down in my opinion. But this just comes down to one main thing ... this is not for me and that's okay. I just figured I put a review together in case there are any other poor sods out there thinking the same things. As always, I wish this dev nothing but the best. I truly hope they've found their audience and the support they deserve. Whether you liked this VN or not give it a review. Really well done visual novel playing off the Prince and the Pauper story and in this case the Princess and the Pauper finding themselves being groomed/corrupted/trained into sexual adventures. The Princess appears to be heading toward BDSM submissive and the Pauper to exhibitionism (so far). A cast of supporting characters help them on their way with plenty of sex scenes and a variety of kinks. I enjoyed the renders and animations as well so all in all top marks. Ignore the trolls, this is fun.

Nice. This is an extraordinarily well done game. The story is intriguing (even if it is a bit on the non-swimmer of life's pond of threat and evilness. I love the setup and the execution is so well done. It's really refreshing to have a dev try something new and unique like this. I am surprised at the criticism for the renders. I feel they are easily better than 80% of what you'll find here. There is no lazily reused assets and the characters are pretty and unique. Also please note that, the current version (0.0.9) already has a TON of content. Try it. Support it. Now!

Reviewing version 0.08.1 I'm not sure why the other reviews are so negative! It's true that the renders are pretty average, but in my opinion the writing in this game is much better than average! It really does well with taking itself seriously enough to have characters act in ways that actually make sense for their positions and backgrounds! It also does a much better job of setting up for and explaining the premise than it really needed to. Most mainstream changing places stories have much less believeable setups. Anyway, I'm pretty fond of it. I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you like slow burn corruption stories. It doesn't seem to have a ton of content yet, but what's there is hot.

Fun take on the classic tale of the prince and the pauper (gender bent, of course). This is primarily a corruption game, so most of the scenes are centered on corrupting both of the MCs. There aren't really huge differences in routes as far as I can tell, but the content that is available is pretty substantial. I highly recommend this game if you like fantasy/medieval settings and female MC corruption games.

A game that fails to meet any of the goals set by the developer in the notes section (and thus is a terrible or 1-star review) based on what was promised explore the related but distinct genres of training and corruption First, both halves of this game are so structurally similar and lean much further on the training side that after a year and half a dozen updates, there is more or less no trace of corruption. I don't believe either character has changed, and the one who has been "corrupted" has been kidnapped, held in a cage, and forced to strip and clean for random soliders for over a week, which is closer to "forced with threat of death" than "corrupted"(but she is still able to say no thanks to her next task, so nope, not corrupted at all, but more on that later). How are they similar? How are they different? As stated previously, there is so little difference between the two halves that I had to rework my review due to the fact that I assumed one half would be trainer and one half corruption (but changelog refers to everything as training). The only difference is that one of them is the most basic, barebones interpretation of the idea (you are allowed to say no twice every time until you have to say yes, repeating with escalating tasks and punishments). Which is made worse by the fact that both in the story and in the real world, the developers treat the person who kidnapped, then imprisoned, a royal against their will as some sort of genius who has it all planned out (ignore the fact that he had to flee the city because he was about to be caught doing a minor crime). Sadly, the better half is only better by default and has writing such as "you can turn a task, but it will take you longer to complete your spy training," which more or less boils down to (you are allowed to say no twice every time until you have to say yes again with escalating tasks and punishments, in this case having to do more minor tasks). How do they look from the perspective of the object of the training or corruption? This is perhaps the most disappointing failed goal, as after a year both have started training (recently), there has been no believable or tanigable corruption (besides one girl not recoiling from being sexually assaulted while tied up), and even beyond that, who the people were before is utterly irrelevant to who they are now. A street kid thief who grew up with a single abusive father and two older sisters forced to prostitute themselves is just as easily able to fool high society as she is after several "training" sessions, and a princess who never worked nor wanted for anything is able to remain sane (and even enjoy pleasure!) after having multiple traumatic experiences. All in all, if this game was just trying to be ye old pornography, it would get an average rating as there are things it does better and worse than other medevil games (the menus in particular stand out for being "accurate," but by the developer's own admission, that is not what he was attempting to do; he was attempting to do what I described above, and based on that, I would call this game terrible because it fails on every front (the dev note promises are what drew me to this game in the first place). I also think it "fails" as pure pornography compared to other games both in art and animation, but my main gripes are to do with failed ambition.

I don't mean that in a bad way -it gets the job done, but it's definitely not the strong point of the game. Con: -While the plot (intrigue at the royal court) is interesting, the game sadly doesn't let you interact with it. Choices are very rare and exclusively limited to the MCs demeanor (nice or bratty for Brigitte and shy or confident for Esther) or of the "do you want to see more?" (as in optional sex scenes with side characters) type.

Version Played: 0.02 Time Played: Less than 2 hours This is still early in development, but I really like what's here and so far; the content updates have been substantial with a good amount of sexual content. While the "identical people switch roles" plot is nothing new, it's always an interesting springboard. I like the fantasy medieval setting and really love the different girls. I've also come to really appreciate woman MCs, so that's another plus in my book. Positives + Cute girls + Plenty of ways to play it from straight to lez + Hot sex scenes + Story is engaging with good amounts of humor as well as pathos Neutral - Story has some slightly darker elements, but they're there for drama, not as misery porn Negatives - Still not a lot of content Rating a game this early in development is always risky business with the constant threat of abandonment or eternities between updates. However, what's here is so good and promising that I wanted to throw my support in for it. Note to devs: Thanks for the great project! I'm looking forward to what's coming up and hope to see some MMF and multiple pen scenes! Good luck!

I may update my review soon because I'm still in the prologue, but wow. Not only is the premise interesting (although I'll admit it's been done to death, (particularly in the 90s) the author was able to make the exposition interesting which is extremely hard to do. Edit - The story is very good so far. The writing and characterization are top-notch. The only thing I'm worried about, are the plans for the future of the story. Without spoiling, the plans for where the princess and pauper go seem... heavy-handed. Instead of it being a political intrigue story, which is what it was set up as, it feels like it will become another generic corruption simulator which appeals to some, but not to all.

I had to deduct 1 star just because I felt like the release was just a little premature.. with leaving the basic main plot unfinished, and even though we got to make some decisions... you're just kinda left without any idea of what will even come of them. I do feel like there is a good amount of potential with this game. 1. Just simply put the main character is smoking hot, so that's an easy plus for me. 2. Female corruption/training games is one of my favorite categories, especially when there possibilities for different outcomes based on how you play.. which the dev has indicated is what's coming. 3. The writing and story so far is pretty good, so I'm not to worried there. Thar said I have a lot of hope for the future of this game and can easily get behind it early.

Version Reviewed: 0.1 An excellent start. The story is unique and refreshing, the renders are well done, and there is even music and animations which is great to see for a first release. There are a few choices to be made by the player although it remains to be seen whether or not they will have any bearing on the story later on. Frankly it feels more like a Kinetic novel as there is clearly a story to be told here and it's not just a fuck fest. But it's not a blue-ball game by any means and there's several lewd and sex scenes already. The characters are quite interesting and each one has their own personality. Always a great thing to see. One minor criticism I have is that several of the characters faces look a bit too similar to each other (I don't mean the two main MC's since that is clearly intended) but a lot of the character's noses and lips look identical to one another. It just feels slightly off, but it's not a huge deal. Looking forward to playing more of this one.
