About Scrooby-Goon

Scrooby-Goon is an adult parody visual novel made by FRANKTOPIA in Ren'Py. You play a male protagonist who kidnaps Vilma Dickley, takes her place, and tries to fool the gang aboard a storm-battered fishing vessel. A letter bomb forces you to solve a murder mystery by exploring the ship, questioning Ford, Nymphne, Scrooby, and Saggy, and using Vilma's deduction table. The game mixes parody, adventure, and sandbox elements with animated artwork.

The current build is v0.3.1, released on September 12, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows, Mac, and Android, in English, with no censorship. The latest update added a new deduction table interface, new clues, two new characters, a new prank, reworked dialogs, fluid animations, secret moments with Delphine, group fun, fourteen original songs, and removed the timer while fixing bugs.

Developer's description

In this adult parody visual novel, you kidnap Vilma Dickley—the gang's brilliant detective—strip her naked, lock her in a storage room, and steal her identity. Now wearing her iconic orange sweater and glasses, you must fool the entire gang while trapped on a storm-battered fishing vessel. But there's a deadly problem: a mysterious letter bomb will explode in exactly 5 minutes unless you solve a murder mystery. Spoiler Race against the clock as you explore the ship, interrogate Ford, Nymphne, Scrooby, and Saggy for clues, and use Vilma's legendary deduction table to crack the case. Meanwhile, the real Vilma is tied up below deck... and she might be useful for more than just hints.
