About Seaside City

Created by Dr. Derp in Ren'Py, Seaside City is an adult dating sandbox game set in a large coastal metropolis, with 2D CG art. You play a male protagonist who leaves an orphanage and moves into a luxurious estate as a tenant. The arrangement looks lucky, but the family has shady connections, and the stay has a price. More than fifty distinct characters have varied personalities, interests, secrets, and quirks. Romance and adult encounters are optional, and a flexible Dom/Sub mechanic can shape dialogue and scene variations.

The current build is v0.1.1, released on December 31, 2025. It runs on Windows, Linux, and Mac, is available in English, and is uncensored. The latest update focuses on performance after players reported lag; a hotfix aims to reduce it and improve overall flow, along with some minor bug fixes. The initial release was v0.1.0.

Developer's description

Seaside City is an adult sandbox dating sim taking place in a huge coastal metropolis, with a roster of 50+ unique characters with varied personalities, interests, secrets and quirks, most of whom the player will be able to bond, romance and... fuck. Each and every character (and kink) will be completely optional and avoidable by the player, as well as the future sex and dialogue variations, which will be influenced by a flexbible Dom/Sub mechanic. After leaving the orphanage you grew up in, you move to Seaside City to live as a tenant in a luxurious estate. It seems like a lucky break, but something feels off. Soon, you discover that the family you're now living with has some shady connections, and your stay in their mansion has a price.

v0.1.1 Since many players reported the game being laggy, I worked on a not-so-quick (took me the whole night) hotfix which will hopefully fix or at least drastically reduce the lag and improve the game's overall flow. I also fixed some other minor bugs along with the patch. v0.1.0 Initial Release
