About Shijima: Demon Hunters
Shijima: Demon Hunters is a fantasy adventure made by KishinYaiba in Ren'Py, with 3DCG visuals. You play as Ayako, a demon huntress who loses her memory after a fierce battle against Yōkai from the underworld. She wakes in a life that feels wrong and a world she does not recognize. With help from her lost love Yumi and the ancient demon Rin, whose motives remain unclear, Ayako tries to recover her past. Each memory she regains makes her enemies stronger, so the group prepares to face the darkness of Yomi again.
The current build is v0.0.11, released on January 19, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows and Linux, in English, with no censorship. The update fixed saving so it works properly, added supporter credits to the main menu, corrected typos, and moved or improved tutorials. It also includes new music and sound effects. The extended intro adds scenes for point-of-view introduction and world-building, plus path choice screens. Supporters will also be listed once proper ending credits are implemented.

After a fierce battle against the Yōkai of the underworld, Yomi, the demon huntress Ayako, loses her memory. She finds herself trapped in a life that feels wrong. A world she knows she doesn't belong in. Spoiler Supported by her lost love, Yumi, and the enigmatic ancient demon Rin, with a mysterious agenda of its own, Ayako searches for the truth. But every memory recovered strengthens her enemies. Together, they embark on a journey to recover Ayako’s lost past and prepare for the inevitable day they must face the darkness of Yomi once again.
