Shinobi New Era is a story-driven Ren'Py visual novel by Eshik Games, using 2D AI-generated CG art. It is set in a newer age of the shinobi world, where peace has reached the Hidden Villages while old secrets, political pressure, and personal conflicts remain. You take the role of Boruto Uzumaki, coming back home after strange events that altered him and those around him. You travel between locations, converse with known characters, strengthen relationships, reveal hidden stories, and see a darker side of the shinobi world. The game includes parody and sandbox themes.
The current build is v0.3, released September 30, 2026, and development is ongoing. It runs on Windows and Android, in English and Russian, and is uncensored. The update adds a major story continuation, open-world events, new locations, character interactions, relationship progression, and new scenes for several characters, including Himawari, Sarada, Sakura, Sumire, and Hinata. It also introduces the first Resonance route, new CGs, animations, sprites, visual improvements, activities, quest improvements, navigation and event logic fixes, and save migration. The focus is story and character growth, with several hours of new content depending on exploration and completed events.

The main focus of this update was the story and character development. There is around several hours of new content depending on how much you explore and which character events you complete.
I also want to be transparent about one thing: the amount of adult content in this update is smaller than I originally planned. I focused heavily on finishing the story structure, open-world systems and character routes first.
I'm already working on improving some of the CGs and expanding the adult content for the next builds.
